Gas prices up about half a buck in the last month. We're now paying close to $4.50 a gallon FOR THE CHEAPEST STUFF. Thanks again, Obama-stein for not letting us drill for our own gasoline. Must be nice to have your own gas paid for by the American taxpayer. Pussy.

$3.70 at Wilco-Hess not on Innes and the former Texaco. One of my cousins drove me to church and then to my aunt's house. I'm driving now, so that won't continue, and I should be driving myself to different libraries by next week.

Gas prices have dropped out here by a couple of cents, but a state board decided since people were using less gas (because it's so damned expensive), they weren't getting enough of a cut from the taxes already paid (the highest in the country) and voted to raise the gas tax by 3.5 cents. So we're still paying above 4 bucks a gallon and that will only get worse as we get close to summer and the additional gas tax and the pricer gas blend we have to use in CA. CRAP.

The state board people probably don't pay for the gas they use to travel back and forth to work, and that is usually the bulk of people's mileage.

What I want to know is....who are these guys and why do they get to vote for a gas tax hike without public input or consent? CRAP.

$3.67 both Citgos. Otherwise, no change from when I visited my family.
$3.69 former DB, $3.60 Kangaroo, $3.59 QM, Circle K and Wilco-Hess on Innes.
I'm going to gamble. It was too cold to get out of the car and get gas yesterday. I also don't know whether gas will go down. But where I'm going next week, it's usually cheaper.

The former Texaco is down a few more cents but now I can't remember the exact number.

$3.66 at the first station I passed. Even though the light is on, I won't stop there. I'm going to gamble.
$3.47 at Pure. That's more like it! Should I fill up? It might be cheaper later. I'll stop at $40.
No, $3.46 Raceway and $3.56 where I get lunch. Lunch was good! I stopped at Pure on the way home. $30 more. I had driven about 80 miles, and I filled up, and the low fuel light was on before I got there. That's as close as I've come in a long time to really filling up. And probably the most I ever spent at one station in one day.

$3.56 at the closest Wilco-Hess to the college I graduated from, going by way of Old Navy.
$3.60 former Texaco, $3.59 Wilco-Hess not on Innes. We got together at my aunt's house yesterday. Those who could.

$3.63 former DB, $3.52 Kangaroo, $3.51 QM, $3.59 Wilco-Hess on Innes. I think that last station was lower by day's end.
$3.59 both Citgos (I got hot dogs) and $3.58 Wilco-Hess not on Innes. I think the former Texaco was also $3.58.
I heard Hess is getting out of the gasoline business. The newspaper wasn't clear on what would happen, but most of the stations were Wilcos before Hess ever got involved. The ones where I live were mostly Servcos and I think by the time they were taken over, Wilco and Hess and joined forces.

QT was $3.49 but I figure I can do better. I didn't even get full service gas because my oil needing changing. The new Shell was $3.52, though I guess it's not new any more. Beside the interstate, the electric sign was off. Most places still use the numbers that have to be replaced manually with a long stick.
Wilco-Hess not on Innes $3.52, Former Texaco (in the afternoon) and Citgo with the hot dogs (and I got some) $3.53. The other Citgo and the former Texaco (in the morning) $3.55.

The former Texaco is below $3.50. I just may have to get gas tomorrow but I probably won't fill up since gas will almost certainly go lower.

The Citgo station is really discouraging the use of debit/credit cards. They are charging 8 cents more for them. $3.45 cash, $3.53 debit/credit.
Crown $3.37

The Citgo station is really discouraging the use of debit/credit cards. They are charging 8 cents more for them. $3.45 cash, $3.53 debit/credit. Crown $3.37 I haven't bought gas at any of the Citgos lately. They're usually higher than the cheapest place. Tuesday, $3.43 at the Citgo that was once a DB. $3.39 Kangaroo. I couldn't pass up $3.36 at QM, but I didn't fill up because it'll surely keep going down. Circle K was $3.33 and so was QM in the afternoon. Wilco-Hess on Innes was $3.35. Yesterday, Wilco-Hess not on Innes went down from $3.36 to $3.34. The former Texaco stayed at $3.47. The Citgo that once had subs went down from $3.37 to $3.35.
