I finally found individual Cadbury eggs at the Citgo with the hot dogs. I usually wait for a sale but I haven't seen them at all at one store and only in packages with several elsewhere. I wasn't too happy with what I saw they charged, which is about twice what I usually pay. And then they just last a few seconds!
I ate too much yesterday when my church had a birthday lunch. I've explained this before. Everyone sits at a set of tables decorated for the month when they were born.

I bought jelly beans where I saw them, even though they were the store brand. They taste just like Brach's. After getting rid of the black and white ones several weeks ago, I ate two colors last Saturday and will eat two more colors each Saturday until they're gone.
At the college I graduated from, everything is so expensive. My only two choices that weren't outrageously expensive were a pimento cheese sandwich with no vegetables and a salad. I need to eat my vegetables. But I wasn't happy.

Jelly beans are gone. So are one brand of coconut cookies.
And now I can't remember why I was going to post here.

I've been meaning to post this for several weeks. The Easter episode of "Superstore" mentioned pumpkins for some reason. Guess what was on sale at my usual grocery store? Pumpkin spice cookies. At Easter. I bought some.

My usual turkey burgers are no longer sold at my grocery store. Where I get points, they're more expensive. I bought a brand which in the past was hard to get open but these are packaged differently and easier to open.

I went back to my usual turkey burger today but only because I had one left.
I went to the post office while my hot dogs were cooking. I should have done that first. Since I made my slaw first, I came back to find the hot dogs burning. I could still eat them with all the stuff I put on them, but it was unpleasant.
I ran out of Andy Warhol soup, or thought I did, so I got the store brand. Much cheaper. And not nearly as good. I did find more Andy Warhol soup that I had forgotten about. And I think I've bought more since then.
I just heard thunder!

I saw that part of one slice of bread had turned green and I wasn't too concerned. Later I saw several slices of bread didn't look right. I think they were stored too close to the stove.
I ran out of the different brand of turkey burger today. I found the kind I usually get on sale where I get points.
I have been eating those pumpkin spice oatmeal cookies.

I have to try harder not to let food get hidden. I don't remember where I found a box of crackers, and it might have been found when I was trying to find something I dropped, but these crackers were beyond merely stale. I ate them anyway but it sure made me appreciate the food that is still good. I have way too much food I haven't eaten. I don't buy everything every time it is "buy one get one free" but I still have too much, either because I got $5 of for spending $50 at my "usual" grocery or because I'm trying to earn gas points at the grocery where, thanks to those points, I actually buy more than at my "usual" store. I only avoid buying where I get points if the item is never cheaper there.

I solved the mystery of the soup. I knew I ate soup before I went to the mountains and didn't recycle that week. The empty can was in a bag but I thought it was a full can.
I had a coupon for store brand cookies. Were they chocolate chip? No. Oreo. I should have looked. So as I went to get the correct cookies a boy pushed his sister out of my way (not in a way that should have upset anyone) and the sister yelled and the mother yelled at the brother.

The milk I got last Saturday already tasted bad when I opened it. But I've drunk milk that tasted that way many times with no ill effects. I should have checked the date, seeing as how I wasn't out of the other milk. I didn't see a date on it after I opened it. Maybe there should have been one. Tomorrow, I'll get new milk and I may just throw the rest out.
I've been meaning to say the man who made me a turkey burger at the hospital across the street from the mall was dressed as a hot dog and when someone ordered a hot dog he said he had to do his dance. He said that like he enjoyed doing it. At that same hospital earlier this week the sidewalk was closed and I had to go in a totally different direction to leave. Someone walked with me. She must have misunderstood where I was going because there were shorter ways. They're cheaper than anything else in the area but the turkey burgers aren't actually that good there like they are at the hospital I went to yesterday, which is also across the street from a mall, but that mall has county offices. It's still a good place to walk. The other mall is good for shopping only. The music gets on my nerves.

And I bought new milk with a date. It didn't taste good even though I opened it right away and its date isn't for another week.

Actually, this milk tastes okay. Just weird. But it's not the kind of bad taste that makes me think it should be thrown out.
I had to spend $25 to save $3 Saturday. That takes away from what I can buy to get gas points. And I got up to $24.99 and had to ask for a manager so I could get the savings. Actually, the cashier put one box in a place from which I guess someone would take the box back. But I have way too much of that stuff now.
I found two loaves of bread I had forgotten. I hope they don't turn out to have mold. I did find mold on a loaf I just opened and to get rid of it faster, I used that bread for my Sloppy Toms instead of hamburger buns. And those slices didn't have mold, as it turned out.

When I was moving stuff so the mattress could be moved in I found four boxes of graham crackers. I was so glad those were gone because I had other stuff that I wanted to eat for breakfast. Now I've got all those graham crackers and so many other crackers still to be eaten.

The graham crackers are a little stale but okay.
The turkey burgers were hard to pull apart and I banged my thumb but it just hurt.

I forgot to post here after I promised I would.
I found a package of cinnamon bun cookies. They're not as good as they sound. Once I found that out, I decided I wouldn't buy any more. So why I bought them, even though they were buy one get one free, I don't know. I can't buy one and get one free every single time.
And I found bread that I thought I had and couldn't find. The first loaf was fine. The second, the minute I opened it, was mostly green and fell apart easily. After the first wo slices, I was able to salvage half of each slice and I have now finished it. I'm ready to open a new package, except it's not the kind I really like because they were out of that when those were on sale.

I have six weeks worth of bread to go and already, one of the two older loaves has what seems like mold. It's really sweet, though.

One more week and I'm rid of the cinnamon bun cookies! And I've dropped the lid on the cookie jar twice.
Only a small area that looks like mold on the remaining slices of bread. Now I've got five weeks worth of bread to go and hope to not find any more problems.

Almost through with a loaf of bread that has a few problems in the corner.
I got milk that wasn't close to its date rather than milk that was, since I wasn't about to open it. Now that I have, it's already tasting lousy. And I have so much more to drink. And if I go, when I get back from the beach, it'll really be bad.

I found a fifth loaf of bread. Oh, great.
Cinnamon bun cookies are gone. Now on the weekend I can eat pumpkin spice cookies which I bought when it wasn't time for them.
On a related note Halloween merchandise was already in stores before Labor Day!
I opened some chocolate chip cookies which were mostly falling apart and don't even taste sweet any more. I'll eat them!

I bought two more loaves of bread (on sale), but that fifth loaf was already turning green. If I go to the beach next week I won't finish it so I wonder if there will be anything left. I have to tear off the green parts but it does taste better than the last loaf.
Forget the pumpkin spice cookies. I need to finish those cookies that aren't sweet. The ones that weren't falling apart I've eaten so all I've got left is a big pile of small pieces and crumbs. I need to eat all that and wash the jar.

In a few minutes I'll refill the cookie jar, hopefully with cookies that taste good.
I already opened a new loaf of bread which tastes good and isn't green.
I have more to say about food at the beach but I'm tired.

I didn't burn my hot dogs this week. That's what I forgot.

Okay, not food. I forgot. Two milk bottles I was going to recycle fell and dumped soapy water on the floor. At different times. The remaining milk wouldn't come off so I filled the bottles and added soap.
I'm finally eating the pumpkin cookies I bought several months ago.
Still three weeks of bread left.
Two weeks of eating at churches, then a normal Sunday yesterday, and another lunch at the church next week.

I'm about to open the first of three loaves of bread, the last of the four I bought at once, and hoping it'll be fine.

No problems with the last of four loaves of bread. Now I just need to get through the other two.
I couldn't believe how bad my milk tasted. No more saving it for Saturday. I know that makes the jug harder to clean but if I was careful to really empty it that wouldn't happen.

Forgot it at least three times! I bought peanut butter without checking the lid. It was hard but not nearly impossible to get it off. My next two jars I checked in the store.
Pumpkin pie was on sale!
Bread was not (at least not my usual brand) but I was out.
I started on the last loaf I had and one green spot, so far.
