I'm still missing my replacement WiFi router and Verizon gave a tracking number and it says out for delivery but then oddly it now says it's missing address information! What the fudge guys?! Where is my replacement WiFi router? And I'm still waiting on the local UPS to call me back still regarding the original order. Didn't Facebook show you resolved this?

I had to start the virus scan the right way. It completed with no problems.
I keep being told to update software but I keep running into problems doing it. I think McAfee is blocking the update but I need more time to investigate that.
Still waiting on the tree photo. I saw her this morning but didn't go over to her house right away and there was no answer.
Waiting on the new TiVo.
My mouse wouldn't let me right click today at one point. I think it was a newspaper problem. No Berkshire Hathaway problems, though.
I think I have been hearing the other mouse. But I'm not sure.
Haven't had a chance to check on Roy but the newscast wasn't on Monday.
No Christmas music on the radio but someone told me about a 12-hour YouTube video which I was listening to for a while and then had to go back to after the Christmas music station made its change on Tuesday. Most of the music is good but there are these annoying commercials and I can't always stop them right away.
I knew I forgot one. I can't find paper towels that are both good quality and square that are also store brand. The "choose a size" style I got means I waste towels if I always tear off two at once, since two are larger than one square one, but in most cases one smaller one won't work. Sometimes I tear off only one by mistake.

Zynga, the Words With Friends, etc., software company was hacked more than a week ago and they have not notified me. CreditWise notified me of the hack and said they found one of my e-mail addresses on the dark web. I changed the password just in case they try to log in.

The notices to update software just keep coming.
New TiVo mentioned on the Tanmi thread.
I may have heard the mouse in my room and I've heard it a couple of times elsewhere.
I stopped the 12-hour video after I heard Amy Grant but I decided to try other options while I still could.
Yes, I recorded Roy.
I saw the woman whose phone I borrowed going into the house with the cats. I should have knocked on their door. I saw her leave in her truck and then come back but when I knocked on her door, no answer. So still no tree.

See the Cat Thread.
Yes, I recorded Roy again.
The mouse keeps doing the same thing every day, though not at the same time. I have two traps out but it manages to avoid them.
No solution on updating software but the virus scan went fine. I had to turn off the computer when it froze yesterday while I was listening to Christmas music. Not all of that music is good and not all of it makes me think of Christmas.

My computer froze once and I had to unplug it but today the problem resolved itself.
I heard what may have been the mouse making noise in the kitchen. There is a door to where we used to keep Christmas supplies which is slightly open and I hope the mouse didn't get in there.
I saw a truck at the house where the woman lives who let me take the photo of the tree, and the people were there because she was sick, so no more progress. I don't know how sick she is, but I'll ask the neighbors with the cats when I see one of them.
I was willing to settle for these paper towels that are so frustrating to deal with and now the grocery store doesn't have them. Well, they do, but in multi-roll packages. Unless they're wrapped separately inside, once they're open, they're no longer protected. I went to the drug store nearby and it turned out their store brand costs probably the same as if I had gotten the name brand at the grocery, plus the store brand is lesser quality.

I've misplaced my farecard somewhere at home. I've already determined it's not at the place I had election judge's training or my ride home's vehicle.
It's somewhere in this living room.

I saw something move which must have been a mouse. I also heard noises. Mostly I have heard noises in my bedroom at night.
No tree photo yet. I saw that my neighbor might be at home. Someone was there who might be able to help her. I also told her for the first time that she could go to the sent folder. Neither of us know why we didn't think of that earlier. I did think of it earlier but didn't think to suggest it.
My computer froze today but cleared up on its own. I think that also happened earlier in the week. Virus scan did okay but I did have to plug the computer in when I started it.
No response from the company that sold the paper towels. I did call the 800 number but I was promised a district manager would contact me. Nothing. I'll go to the store tomorrow and see what I can do. Meanwhile, they're hard to tear so that I don't end up with too many.
I saw both Roys this week but one required seeing two different recordings, or at least I started with the wrong one.

That has happened to me. I don't normally post about the pain related to my injury seven years ago, and it doesn't normally affect my sleep, but I am having a new kind of pain that keeps me from getting to sleep. I think last night it got better. I nicked myself slightly cleaning a can for recycling but you wouldn't believe how much I bled. I kept finding blood drops all over the house. And outside. That happened last week too when I was trying to get ice out of the freezer (they wanted me to spend money to get the thing fixed but I'll pass), but the bleeding was not nearly that bad. Also, I got ketchup on one of my prettiest shirts. I saw Roy today after that cold weather forecast. I didn't ask about the tree photo and now I'm getting concerned. But I'm waiting until I see the woman outside. Computer froze for ten minutes today and I don't know why. But I had some stuff I hadn't saved and waited it out. I may have heard the mouse once over the weekend. I opened up my new TiVo. I had a problem with my vacuum cleaner which has not been fixed. It was just clogged. So I plugged it into the surge protector I got for the TiVo and nothing happened. I saw what looked like it might be a switch since some of the others have one, and that fixed it. It's not obvious that's a switch, though. The others have one that looks like a light switch. And when I tried to use the TiVo, it turned out I need an HDMI cable. I tried using what plugs into my old TiVo but it didn't work. I have to buy my first new TV in years. This is why I was reluctant to go ahead and buy the TiVo right way, but it was on sale. No call from a district manager and the local manager insists I take the towels back or no refund. I'll try again tomorrow with the 800 number. And those things are hard to ear sometimes. I'm wasting a lot. I should be compensated.

Virus scan worked. Roy was recorded.
CTRL-ALT-DEL still had not worked after 15 minutes. This happened on a comic strip web site when I just walked away for a few minutes.
No tree photo yet. I see lights on at the house but don't want to walk over there in the dark.
Of course it wasn't a simple matter setting up the new TiVo. And I was lucky on the vacuum cleaner because that surge protector kept coming unplugged last night. There were all these wires that had to separated.
The TV was actually in the second store where I looked for one. But figuring out how to make it work was a pain and when I called, the woman asked for the model number. Which was too small to read. I thought about just reading what I could and hoping that was right but she hung up and all the attempts to call back got me a busy signal. And everything is in French now.
Nothing from the district manager.

Twice I had to shut down the computer because of a comic strip web site.
Tree photo has to wait until the neighbor gets a new phone. The card from the old one can go in it. But she can't afford a phone now.
I don't have time to describe all the headaches the new TiVo has caused me. I did at least find a button marked "French" on the TV remote. I now have the ability to move all the shows off what was my newest TiVo but I can watch them on the same TiVo I moved them from. Once I delete everything from that TiVo, I no longer have to worry whether anything will go wrong with it, or about getting back to 100 percent.

Virus scan worked fine. Something caused the computer to freeze and I didn't have the patience to wait and see if CTRL-ALT-DEL worked, though it did work earlier with a lot of patience after a Berkshire Hathaway article that was still there when I forgot to go somewhere else. And the newspapers are being sold to the company operating them. No word on whether this affects the web site.
The button marked "French" didn't work but it's actually "PREVCH". I did solve the mystery of why not enough programs are being transferred. I use more electricity this way, though.
No Roy on Wednesday at least at 4, and 8:00 didn't record. Ironically, I was home, but I would have had to use the remote to rewind. I just didn't have the patience as it was time to leave. I did see Roy on Monday.
I got soup on a shirt that is brand new. I knew I was taking a risk but I didn't have any other clean shirts.
I did hear the mouse today and I've heard it several times, assuming it wasn't something small like a spider. Which is unlikely.
My sleep problems seem to have been solved although I still feel like I'm not sleeping enough.

I just saw the mouse again. I need to move the trap because it's obviously not going where I think it's going.
Not all the programs I want to transfer are transferring.
I did see Roy today but have not checked on last Wednesday.
Computer froze because of the comic strip web site. And I think I stayed too long on the Berkshire Hathaway owned newspaper.
I bought paper towels at a dollar store. Big mistake. Not only are they not the quality I was looking for but they are choose a size, and not clearly labeled as such.

I saw Roy today but the Senate vote kept me from seeing it Wednesday and I couldn't record the morning newscast.
I finally bought good quality towels that are still choose a size, and I still have to finish the others.
Numerous problems over the past week with Berkshire Hathaway and other causes but I don't even remember details.
Virus scan did fine, but I did it late in the day.
Haven't definitely heard the mouse in a while.
Also see the Food Thread.

I keep hearing mouse noises, even at night.
I saw Roy before I let home Wednesday because I used the remote.
I got the coupon from the drug store where I bought the paper towels and used it on cough syrup.
Virus scan was not through so I have to restart it in a few minutes.
Berkshire Hathaway and something else froze the computer but CTRL-ALT-DEL worked once, then I got an error message saying it wouldn't work the second time, then everything quit another time but at least the computer didn't need restarting.
My newspaper's parent company is bankrupt. And I got the TV section today. This is bad. If it didn't come on Saturday, could that mean no more Saturday papers? I haven't seen official confirmation but its coming soon.
I know there's more but I can't remember it now.

The man who mows my grass sent me a happy valentine's day text. I responded with the cussing emoji. He never sends me a text on other "holidays" so he is probably broke and wants an odd job or something. Whatever the reason, I do not want that type of text from him.

I actually saw the mouse today in addition to hearing mouse noises three different times. More on the Food Thread.
I don't know whether my virus scan completed because I came in and found the computer off. If it accidentally comes unplugged then plugging it back in makes a fifth modem light come on and a green light comes on where the Internet is connected to the computer. These did not happen.
I got a Saturday paper but that won't last.
No Roy today because I read on another site the Daytona 500 will be on. I hope Roy wasn't on at another time.
I remember now what I forgot. I dropped one of the parts that actually does the cutting on my electric razor. I put it somewhere intending to put it back inside when I shaved. Then I dropped it and can't find it. I don't really need all three. I want a new electric razor anyway--one that really works, not a cheap one that doesn't really do anything.
The TV I watch most was acting up but it got worse after I thought I had fixed it. I moved it and put another TV which was acting up in its place. It works.

Spent most of the day literally cleaning and doing some major downsizing of unwanted kitchen appliances and some other items.
Had to throw out over 6 bags of items and some items too large to fit in bags including my old childhood wooden chairs and a briefcase that had belonged to my dad.
It's not easy becoming a minimalist and downsizing in major ways but it must be done.
Believe it or not while clearing all the clutter from the kitchen I discovered a mouse hole I hadn't noticed previously. Thanks to my late my dear friend I remembered her advice to plug up mouse holes with steel wool scouring pads and duct tape.
Hopefully this will prevent any future ones since we have traps set up and almost all noticeable holes are plugged up.
Also I think out portable washing machine has bit the dust but don't know yet for certain.

Well good news, the portable washing machine did NOT bite the dust, I was able to wash a load last night.
Maintenance is kind enough to take away our heavy bags out for us, we had over nine yesterday and an unused t.v. set.
I think I found the source to our bedbugs, my dad's old trunks including my grandmother's trunk she has brought over from Macedonia. There was literally old Army uniforms in there that were rotting and full of mildew.
Sadly my mom's asthma was giving her fits and I have been working almost nonstop solo in organization of the remaining items.
We are almost at the tailend of this enormous project.
Phew!

Heard mouse noises over the past several days. Or maybe it was something else.
I'm more concerned about the very loud noise in my bedroom. Maybe it's outside. I don't think there's enough room under the bedroom for anything that could be making such a noise.
Virus scan finished before I used the computer.
I've had to use CTRL-ALT-DEL a couple of times but don't think I lost anything.
I found square Bounty for $1.34! Now I know where I will get my paper towels. It is true that's for a smaller roll but no store brands have offered the square towels.
Transferred Roy, if he's there, but haven't watched yet. Okay, his name is Chad ...

I've misplaced my high school class ring and it's almost $300 to get another one. Yikes! Hopefully I can find where I put it. I really don't have that spare amount of money to fork over that much.

I didn't buy a class ring and I was criticized for it. But why would I spend $60? We were told not to get the cheap one ($40). Now, I'm glad I didn't.
I don't recall any serious computer problems but I got another notice to restart. I keep turning the thing off and turning it back on. Why doesn't that count? Well, it finally did. Fortunately, it wasn't time to use it yet. But I saw the messages saying it was finally updating.
Roy was there.
I did see the mouse. Why does it keep coming back? The traps are where it goes. Or near enough. What is it eating?

I saw the mouse again. And I found out what it has been eating. See the Food Thread. Actually I forgot one of the things it has been eating. Also heard it in my room late at night going under my mattress.
No problems with the virus scan, and it's a good thing it finished because I had to turn the computer off when looking at a Berkshire Hathaway newspaper. And I had another problem that may have caused me to lose a few items when things just started disappearing when everything was going slow.
I saw Roy Wednesday!
Tomorrow I get my last actual Saturday paper.
