Aaaw so no dual wielding tommyguns from the brothers? Damn it, would have been a great scene.
Wonder if they'll have a means of communicating.

Hmmmmm.....so Chronos must have been one of the few gods Lucifer didn't kill at that dinner. What was the name of that episode? Should be interesting. I'm just a little nervous about the whole time travel thing. I mean, if they can time travel can't they just change events so some things happen and other things don't? It just seems we've been there a couple of times already and it's a device that can get awfully gimmicky.

The 16th episode title might have changed from "Another Man's Treasure" to "Out With The Old" according to Spoiler TV.

So far all the time travel they've done have shown that they can't change what has happened, it corrects itself somehow, which again makes the concept kind of moot. I hope this will be the last time travelling we see, it really never something that is handled well, way too many plot holes come from it.

Well, that's true about things not being changed by the time travel. I would think it's possible, however, just by them being where they aren't supposed to be. Of course in the Supernatural world, that's not the case. I remain wedded to the idea, however, that the writers have been to the time trave idea too many times. Three, right? When Dean is sent back to see his father as a young man; when Castiel sents them all back to 1978 to prevent Anna from killing Mary and the (what I call) "Titanic" episode. The first two had a direct connection to the boys, the last I found not really compelling.

i'm not so sure the 'titanic' epi really counts as a time travel epi, per se. to me, it was more of an 'alternate univers' epi (like 'the end', 'it's a terrible life' and 'the french mistake'). i don;t know, i kinda like the time travel epis

But I still think 2 time travel episodes is enough. Same for the "alternate universe" premise. I guess my default is for more stand along monster killing . Call me old-fashioned.

So......back to spoilers......... Now that the angels are out of the picture, just how does Dean get transported back to the 1940's? Are the leviathins capable of this? Not sure I'm up for the time travel thing again. I think the writers have gone to that pool a couple times too many. Your thoughts? I agree I am getting a bit tired of time travel episodes especially when almost always one of the boys is not included, but I at least get to see Dean in costume! he looks hot.

Cas was trying to create an AU to collect souls. He used time travel for the Winchesters as part of the equation.

I can't say that time travel isn't overused, but if they are going to overuse it, can't Sam go somewhere by himself? Or would that just mean we would focus on Dean in the present day trying to get Sam back.

Sorry I'm. Clueless about stuff from that time period!! Sent from my SPH-D710 using ProBoards It's the signature bad ass gun used by old school mobsters like Al Capone and Bugs Moran in the 1920's-1940's. Al Capone is the dude that caused the St. Valentines Day massacre in 1929 in Chicago, he was the master mind of it. Capon is one of the most famous mobsters in history, this fucker would not only kill you and your entire family if you got on his bad side, he'd kill every sorry son of a bitch you have said one word to.The Saint Valentine's Day massacre is the name given to the 1929 murders of 7 mob associates as part of a prohibition era conflict between two powerful criminal gangs in Chicago: the South Side Italian gang led by Al Capone and the North Side Irish gang led by Bugs Moran. I'm weird I love all that mob shit for some reason. I know a lot about it. It's basically an old school machine gun, it was very big during this time period because this is the time period the mob was big in the United States but it's not around anymore as far as a I know, it's very heavy and now we have smaller guns that pack a big punch with less weight to them however the tommy gun can take out people fast and brutal It can take out a tank. This fucker is sleek, sexy and hella powerful. See the circle type thing on the gun, that's where the ammo goes and it packs a lot of it, very effective when it's needed to take out a large group of people.

No problem Olivia and the Saints movies are a bit different, they kill the mob guys.
I made KP a thread with clips for that movie on the main forum, I can't pimp it out enough.

I have been thinking about how Cas is going to come back on episode 17 and maybe two episodes afterwards. If he is going to appear in two more episodes than I don't think he can be a hallucination or a dream. I don't know how that's going to work out if he is one or the other. I personally think he will come back as Cas and finally redeem him self to Sam and Dean. Maybe that's how his story line will end. I know most fans weren't satisfied by how they ended his last episode so I think he will come back to be redeemed in a way that will be satisfactory to his fans.

The 16th episode title might have changed from "Another Man's Treasure" to "Out With The Old" according to Spoiler TV. When I saw the original title I thought of the saying it comes from 'one man's trash is another man's treasure' and I immediately thought of Dean's necklace because he threw it in the trash, and I am sure Sam would have picked it out. I was hoping - based on pretty much nothing - that the amulet might make its long overdue (IMO) return. Out with the Old comes from 'out with the old, in with the new' and I have no clue what that could mean.

I am getting heartily sick of the boys being separated. When are they just going to run a case together like they always used to?

So maybe Sam will give him some new comfortable jewelry

Season 7, Episode 12: Time After Time After Time Original Air Date—13 January 2012 Sam and Dean tangle with the God of Time, who sends Dean back to 1944, where he is immediately arrested by none other than the one and only Eliot Ness. While trying to figure out how to retrieve his brother, Sam is surprised by the reappearance of an old friend.
So this is the next episode. I forgot about the reappearance of an old friend. Do we know anything about this, any clues. Who would the old friend be?

Maybe its a standford friend? I hope its a guy actually. Sam has too many aquaintences that are girls. I'd like for him to get a bit of a male friend episode.

I'd like Sam to actually not have bad luck with woman for once in this show lol.
That poor boy in the last episode I should have known before I saw it Sam was going to continue his bad luck streak with woman.

It would be really cool if it was a college friend!! I always liked the episode Skin for many reasons and one is because we saw college friends of Sam and that was cool to see his friends with him.
And the possibility for a jealous like Dean all like hey there kid that's my little brother back off would also be cute to see is this person is a college friend of Sams.

I had presumed it would be Sheriff Mills as she is definitely in this ep.
If it is just a friend of Sam's then I'm hoping for Sarah from Provenance. Loved her!

I'd like to see that interaction also. Just the dynamic of who Sammy really is. A little bit of bts with Sam Winchester lol. I'd say hunter but when and would of been with soul!less Sam. Skin was a great episode. It did have everything. Big Bro/Standford Sam/hunters/SS!Dean - huge Sam and SS!Dean fight. Great episode.
