Thanks for that memory, Lisaa. I don't cry very much. But yesterday, when I heard of his death I did twice. If you'd like to post a comment on his website, this is the URl: www.robingibb.com/comments.html

There's an even earlier one. Here's their first appearance on TV in 1960:
And no, Kyle, it isn't the same song.
From the very early days the Bee Gees were writing and recording their own songs, however.

Unfortunately, I did not know about Robin Gibb or the BeeGee's until this thread was originally made, but I've been listening to his music and this is one of those bands I would strongly recommend. I like it that much. I just wish I didn't have to hear the word death before I hear of these wonderful singers or bands.

I didn't know that Maurice and Robin were twins until it was said that they were yesterday on Entertainment Tonight, may they be together again along with Andy now. God bless you and the Gibb family always!!! Holly

Yes, and may Barry have the strength to carry on without his brothers. Andy was the youngest to die. He was in his 30s. Robin and Maurice were also younger than Barry, and obviously were fraternal twins. Robin's last words were about his twin. He said "I can't believe Mo isn't here. I can't believe he's gone."
This is the song Robin requested be played at his funeral:
These guys, with only three voices (as you'll see in the live performances) were able, with their harmonies, to sound like an entire choir.
