Hello everyone! I see we have not been around in awhile. I hope you are all well. Nothing much has changed since I stopped by the last time. Loving the season so far and loved what we got to see of Sam's breakdown. Jared did a brilliant job of Sam being tormented and tortured by Lucifer. I think there is a twist ahead in regards to Sam being fixed but I could be wrong. Our Sammy in not 100%. We are headed to Florida in May to visit my Dad and go to Disney. 6 months to ChiCon which is great because the trip is inching closer. My daughter is well and almost finished with kindergarten which is hard to believe. Hope to talk to you soon. Take care!

Are they having a kinder graduation? I'll bet you're looking forward to your trip. I think my hubby and I are going to San Diego in June. We've never been there. EvilS or Yim do you have any recommendations of what to see there? (I'm assuming you two know ) Take care everyone.

San Diego is an awesome city. There's so much to see.....of course, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, the Wild Animal Park....for the historian, there's the Star of India (an old masted ship that's great to explore), The U.S. Grant Hotel (one of his sons had it built), the gaslight district, the Hotel del Coronado (remember "Some Like it Hot?" -- part of it was filmed there and it's over 100 years old....maybe even has some ghosties!) Lots of Navy ships are docked there and there's a whole lot of micro-breweries to sample at.
Enjoy!!

My husband will be over the moon about the micro-breweries.

I loved the San Diego Zoo. We stayed at a hotel I loved called Bahia Resort. The hotel has it's own beach and Seal. Yup that is right this hotel has it's own harbor seals named Gracie and Billy. They only had Gracie at the time we stayed. Gracie is blind and would have died if left in the wild. www.bahiahotel.com/beach-resort-welcome/seal-pool/The rooms have the feel of an apartment it was quite comfortable. Here is a picture I took of Gracie during our stay.

I hope everyone had a fun Easter. Still on hellatus But my cruise starts end of this month yeah!!! Captivefan that was quite a neat resort. Since the rooms were more like small apartments it was really comfortable, plus close to everything. We enjoyed it.

Well, I hope you both have fun. Since I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, I will have to have "vacation fun" vicariously through you.

Hey JIA, when in May are you going to Disney? Disney World is so expensive. My hubby and I want to go, but we also want to go to Universial to see the Harry Potter section. So it's kind of an either or thing. Have you been to both? Which is better? Our Cruise leaves out of Orlando.

I know you did not ask me, but my family has been several times. 3 generations of my family, including myself, enjoy Universal Studios 10 times better than Disney World. The thrill rides at Universal are a lot of fun. At Disney, we did more walking, sweating and standing than anything else. Universal had cold air blowing on us while we waited in line. That was a plus. One of the things we did that worked well for us is they have an option to go through a "single person" line. We would do that because we did not care if we were sitting next to each other as long as we were in the same group.

Now with what you said it helps us make a decision. Plus the cold air blowing while in line is important to me. I can't get over heated because of my medical condition. wow how sound old and decrepit do I sound? We aren't as much into rides as we use to be. Are there good shows and other stuff to do at Universal?

Hello everyone! Hope you are all well and surviving our last Hellatus of this Season. I can't believe they are ready to wrap up. I'm feeling pretty good about a Season 8 and with Jeremy Carter taking over it should be interesting. I hope to see more old school Supernatural. He was involved with some great episodes. I am just seeing your posts about my trip to Disney sorry I didn't answer back sooner. This is our 3rd trip to Disney and we love going. I know we will be back next year. We leave May 5th but the first few days we are visiting my Dad. evilsquirre1 I have been to Universal Studios and love it. We almost opted for a few days there but I don't think my daughter is ready for that yet. My husband and I used to go there all the time before I had our daughter. We used to go at Halloween time when they do their Horror Nights. Talk about amazing. We actually never considered even going to Disney at that time. My opinion is they are both great in their own way. We are talking about the Disney Cruise in a few years. Captivefan yes my daughter has a kindergarten graduation at the end of May. Hard to believe she is going into the first grade. I have heard a lot of nice things about San Diego but I have never been there. My cousin honeymooned there. You and your husband will have a great time. Talk to you all soon! http://img./albums/m537/mistermoonlight1/wave.gif[/img]

Has everyone abandoned the Old Folks Home? It's been very quiet around here. I've been in Canada taking care of my nephew while his parents were away. All went well. We sold my mother's house! Yeah! Now my trustee duties are almost over. Just have to file taxes on the trust at the end of the year. Hope everyone is well. I'll be around to party when we get our season 8 renewal. Anyone care to join me? Shout out to LC. JIA will you be able to go the your daughter's graduation? May is almost here.

She's having a blast, the warm spring/summer came in time with her getting pretty secure in walking and running, so now nobody can stop her running wild in the park and the playground. She's also taken to explain very complex theories in that special language where I pickup 1 word out of 3 so it's hard to keep a straight face and look quite serious when she's rambling, hehe. Not seen the Hunger games yet, I think it will end up being a DVD release for me. The last 3 feature films I've seen have been Monsters Inc, Dispecable Me and Cars 2... Aye I read about Season 8, I think the staff have known for a while, the networks often wait so they can announce in a bundle. Good news! As long as we see an end to the Leviathans this season.

I'm ready for Dick and his buddies to go too. I'll take more demons.

Ah I mean to watch Avengers, it opens here next week. Am definately expecting lots of geeky superhero action.
Other than that I can't really say there are any huge movies I'm waiting for.
I went to the Champions League semi finals in spain, Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich. That was such an intense and grand experience, really like that. Now I'm halfway considering getting a ticket to the european championships, however the political drama and the fact that Denmark is probably going to be slaughtered in the preliminariy round puts a damper on the high priced ones.
And I agree, Amalie is a blast. She seems to find any new discovery the best thing in the world, even if it's "only" something as simple as soap bubbles burst when you touch them.

Let me know if you liked The Avengers. I'm glad you had an exciting time at the Champions League semi finals in Spain. I encourage you to go to the European Championships. The older I get the more I realize it's important to die living than live dying. I hope that made sense.

Hello everyone Little quiet in here. I guess everyone is celebrating Supernatural's finale and the great news about Season 8. I'm celebrating that too. Let's see... what's going on with me. My 21 year old grandson took liberal leave and spent a week with the family. He has matured a great deal in the 9 months he has been in the Navy. He did not need my help with airline reservations or with the rental car. I said "You don't need me to come in with you?" and he responded "Nope" with a most beautiful grin. I guess they all eventually leave the nest. I don't know if we have any horse racing fans, but the Preakness is tomorrow. The weather is forecasted to be sunny and warm. The nicer the weather, the bigger and drunker the crowd. So I will sit on my porch and people watch. It's like a neighborhood party. All the neighbors come out and laugh and joke with the crowd. TTYL

I'm so old I can remember when our incredible singer a song live instead of lip syncing. Also our singers could write a song and make is dirty as hell while never swearing. Plus the shoes in this video are bad ass. I want a pair. ;D RIP Donna Summer

Nice one, Evil. I like the song, but had never seen her perform it. Words in hip-hop songs leave nothing to the imagination, but the interpretation of that song depends on how it is performed.

OK....I am in geek heaven! I have my telescope set up in my backyard and I'm watching the solar eclipse here in southern California! Awesome! Not the full "ring of fire" that other places are seeing but a HUGE chunk of the sun is covered by the moon. Woo-hoo!

Record heat here. Yet despite that, I went for a long walk. My face feels like it's on fire. God, I wish it would rain!!! I'd go outside and dance in it....I'd look like a lunatic, yes, but I'd feel happy.

We had perfect weather for the Preakness. Maroon Five and Wiz Kalifa were the featured bands and there were thousands of people. Spent most of the day people watching. When people were permitted to bring their own kegs and coolers of beer, they would act crazy by the time they left. That was more entertaining than everyone leaving sober now. They remain sober because they won't pay for those ridiculously priced drinks.

Now I am the one who's jealous. Even though I live within 65, or so, miles of Santa Anita, I've never been to a horse race. A very exciting couple of minutes with, what I'm sure, are hours of fun people watching and enjoying adult beverages!
