Recently...my Twitter account was hacked.
Today my Youtube account was also hacked.
This no longer seems to be a coincidence.
Untill I can get to the bottom of this....I urge you all to be wary of anyone and everyone.

I received a notice saying that there has been suspiscious activity.....exactly like the message that Twitter sent me.
And now Youtube has blocked me from accessing my page and will not let me change my password. They have shut me out .

Is there anyone out there with mad hacker skills who can help us figure out who is doing this? You don't have to post here if you don't wish to, just contact Timmy. Any number of trojan viruses can give another person access to your computer and passwords. So the first thing I'd suggest is a bombardment of virus and malware scans. If you need software recommendations, just let me know. |

You Tube links Timmy posts sometimes don't work. I wonder if that is because of what's going on.
Fforde's e-mail was hacked pretty badly a few times. I have gotten lots of suspicious e-mail supposedly sent by him but I'm sure was from a stolen contact list.
What I don't like recently is that if I click on something on Facebook that interests me, a user agreement comes up for some of them that would allow someone else to post things AS me. They can literally put words in my mouth -- recommend things I wouldn't. Whatever I may want to look at, it just isn't worth it!

I lost my youtube account as well..... I don't know if it was hacked or what.... they say I'll get it back in a few weeks. Do hackers do that?  I wonder if it has anything to do with my relentless attack of the terrorists on WHALE WARS.... how those fiends can keep attacking the brave Whale fishermen is obscene!!! Macs are a small percentage of the computers out there and operate differently than what used to be called the "IBM compatibles." People who design viruses want to do the maximum damage possible, so they don't usually go to the trouble engineering viruses for Macs. It's not about superior protection. For instance, I have never gad a virus on my Etch-A=Sketch ... except when I sneezed on it. |

Unfortunately, lately we're getting more and more reports of Macs being compromised by trojans and other viruses. My advice is to find several of the best free ones out there and put your computer through the ringer with them. God damn it!!!! My aol and yahoo accounts were hacked...I found this out when I checked my sent mail. There were 15 emails I NEVER SENT! Had to change my password again. |

It is so odd....being hacked and compromised.
I resisted the lure of computers and the internet for a very long time...and now I feel as if I have lost a limb or something.
If it were not for all of the great persons that i have met here....i would chuck the whole set-up out the window and go be happy again.

This is the thing about technology...we're all so hyped about it (smart phones, computers, etc) and we happily buy into it, yet some of us don't consider the down side of this crap.
I didn't even get a computer until late 2005. And frankly, I could live quite happily without it.

I want to agree with you two... but I've never had friends to hang out with on a regular basis... I'm just a lonely child who literally has never had a friend until she came onto the CW... well, maybe one, but even we didn't hang out regularly. I'm the type of girl no one wants to hang out with... it's not my fault. They always say they're too busy. They're the ones who always say no, not me. And get this, it's not the technology... they just always literally have the better life, better families, etc etc. I'm the girl no one wants.  |

That's scary!! I can't imagine what I'd do without my youtube  All my favorites from 2008 on. Lately I've been having problems with my MSN account. I've had to change the password 3 times because someone has been sending out spammy emails from my account.  These people need to get a life! |
