I was a tad disappointed with the episode. I did enjoy some of Sheldon's comments though about his behavior toward Bert.

The Geology Methodology Koothrappali’s attempts to have a relationship are very funny. He did not mess up as much as he usually does. When they were out to dinner and Ruchi was talking about work, Raj's imagination was running wild and I laughed the entire time. KyleEl While viewing the way Sheldon talked to Bert, I have to agree with your previous comment that Sheldon can be as insensitive as Walter O’Brien. I always thought Sheldon was just funny, but he was mean to Bert. I think it was funny when Leonard was taking lessons from Bert on how to get rid of Sheldon.

I won't see this episode for a while because it's on a different machine and the main machine gets the priority.
I had plans to post here about something else but I don't remember now what it was.

The Tesla Recoil
This is probably the only time I thought friends back-stabbing each other was hilarious.
The ladies' comments to the guys are very funny.

11.09 The Bitcoin Entanglement
11-30-17
Sheldon tries to teach the guys a lesson after they cut him out of a potentially valuable investment; a seven-year-old video reveals a secret about Leonard and Penny's relationship.

This was a funny episode, but most of the laughs came from the flashbacks of their relationships. Leonard is a good sport when they make so many jokes about his relationship with Penny.
I was certain they would not reap any benefit from the bitcoin mining, but I did not think about Stuart finding the flash drive until we saw him sweeping the floor.

11.10 The Confidence Erosion
12-7-17
Sheldon and Amy try to use math to eliminate wedding planning stress; Koothrappali "breaks up'' with Wolowitz after realizing he is hurting his confidence.

Sheldon looked so smug when their mathematical method of dividing the wedding planning was going well. Then it became a mess. The things Sheldon wanted to do sounded complicated and would have looked outlandish. Stormtroopers?! I liked the City Hall scene.
The best part for me was about Raj’s interview and lack of confidence. Raj’s father gave him good advice about regaining self-confidence and it worked. But first, he had to stop spending time with Howard to avoid his "jokes". Raj sounded good when he spoke to the group. He impressed a young lady who invited him out for coffee. He became nervous again and started babbling about coffee keeping him awake all night. I laughed when Penny whispered, “Decaf, dummy.”

I forgot to rescue the episode on the oldest TiVo so I had no choice but to watch it.
I was amazed at how well Sheldon and Amy were getting along but it quickly became a mess. I thought people liked either "Star Wars" or "Star Trek" but Sheldon obviously likes both. And they did manage to mention the movie that opens this week. Oh, wait, this week. Maybe they'll have the episode about the movie this week.
I didn't think it was a good idea for Raj to narrate but I thought he'd be good at everything else. But I was impressed by how well he did at the planetarium. He looked good in the suit too.
It was about time Raj stood up to Howard.

11.11 The Celebration Reverberation
12-14-17
Sheldon plans an authentic ``Little House on the Prairie'' dinner for Amy's birthday; Leonard receives a Christmas letter from his brother.

I haven't seen last night's episode. I took a risk but I needed the time to read newspapers. I saved all the shows I had yet to watch and this time, none gave me a "will not record" message.
The geology professor was on the Christmas episode of "Will and Grace" as a historian who took the cast on a tour of a museum devoted to ordinary poor people. Grace really had to use the restroom and it was for customers only, so he insisted they take the tour (though she went the wrong way and the toilet she used wasn't connected to anything). And of course the actors played the people being described. Will was the evil landlord and Karen was the poor Irish woman with many children who was getting evicted. Grace was the landlord's wife and Jack saved the day.

The Celebration Reverberation
Sheldon went to a lot of trouble to prepare a special authentic dinner for Amy, but I patiently waited for it to go wrong. It tasted terrible and it upset their digestive system. It was funny when Sheldon suggested coitus while they were lying there sick.
Howard and Raj “fighting” in the moon bounce would have been funny, but I had seen it too many times in the promo. Raj did an excellent job setting up the party. I guess they are back to being friends, but will Howard ease up on the insults?

I'm glad Howard and Raj made up. I hadn't seen them fighting before the episode itself.
Stuart was funny when he talked about what a loser he was. Both he and Raj were certainly entitled to celebrate with Halley given how much they have done for her.
I forgot Bernadette was pregnant in real life. I guess they've found out how to work around that.
Amy was so enthusiastic about her authentic dinner. Surely the real pioneers weren't made that sick from their food. I'm thinking people today just haven't adapted to the type practices Sheldon had to follow. I was amazed he churned butter. The only person I ever see doing that is the comic strip character Loweezy Smith.
I once went to a store that had butter that wasn't refrigerated. I'm wondering if it came right from a churn? Regardless, it must have been preserved in some other way than refrigeration.
I couldn't believe Sheldon was actually thinking about that.
They sure recovered fast. They were there for the party.

I forgot to mention Penny's cute pajamas. Of course I prefer it if she sleeps in something that shows off more. I was reminded when Fallon on "Dynasty" was also quite covered up when she went to bed.
I watched a movie with Christina Applegate over the weekend. She could be Kaley Cuoco's sister. So similar in personality. In fact, her mom on "Married with Children" is also Penny's mom.

Sheldon and Amy's scientific wedding plans are funny. Sheldon was awful when he told Amy if she was worried about him getting cold feet, she was right to be worried, but I laughed anyway.

I liked when Amy reacted the way she did, because it's like she used to be. She has gotten so serious and mature.
Penny did something to her hair. It looks gorgeous.
I don't remember Georgie here, but because of the new series, the idea of his being the best man is funnier.

If they decide to have Georgie make a guest appearance, who do you think would play the part well? I do not watch enough comedies to know a lot of the actors.

The Solo Oscillation
I enjoy seeing interactions between Sheldon and Penny. They play off of each other very well. Watching Penny help him with string theory was entertaining.
Now I know what nerdy musicians consider good songs.
Amy and Howard are having too much fun together.

Sheldon told Penny his knock was annoying when she does it. It's annoying when he does it.
Poor Penny made a boat. But later she could actually interact with Sheldon and help him with string theory.
Penny and Sheldon, both former winners, presented on The CW while this episode was going on.
Nerdy musicians don't have anything in common with the ones on this show. This band didn't impress the kids. I was expecting parodies of real songs. Although on "Fresh Off The Boat", the kids got in trouble for their musical "Brent" which was still enough like "Rent" to get them in trouble.

Now Leonard has done the Sheldon knock. Sheldon didn't say this was annoying. Sheldon wasn't annoying at all, which drove Leonard crazy. It was so funny that Sheldon wanted to work in his old room. It makes sense that he doesn't want to go all the way back to campus, especially since he doesn't drive.
Raj's date was one of the 2 Broke Girls. She was the one whose father was like Bernie Madoff and when he was sent to prison she lost everything and had to go to work as a waitress and live in a dump with the other potty mouth waitress. She was spoiled (in her old life) and constantly complaining (in her new one) but still she was so sweet. You had to like her.
I thought Raj was in trouble, but he actually made friends with her ex.

My goodness, Raj is such a ham when he does the planetarium presentation, but the long pause is funny.
I was amused too when Leonard became annoyed that Sheldon was being considerate. When Leonard did the Sheldon knock, I was waiting for the third knock, but he did only two. Amy misses Sheldon because he is away so much. And she cannot go play with Leonard because that is where Sheldon is working.
Raj's relationships are entertaining to watch. I thought he would break up with the woman when she told him she had been separated for only two weeks, but what happened later was funny. I laughed when Raj and Oliver (the husband) decided to get pie and they both agreed to not invite the wife.
I am used to seeing Walton Goggins (Oliver) play tough guy roles like in "Justified" and had to stare to make sure it was him playing an emotional role. He did good.

I feel like a missed an episode somewhere. Maybe this was announced in one of the episodes I haven't seen yet.
Sheldon acted admirably. He's really trying. And he was so mature to give Wil Wheaton's show a try.
I liked how Penny and Bernadette both thought the woman in Leonard's book was the other. And either way, she was gorgeous. And it was great what happened eventually. We can always count on Leonard's mom.

It was on my oldest TiVo but I watched the episode anyway.
It was the one where Howard and Bernadette found out the sex of their baby, and Penny started having conversations with Leonard's mother. And we found out Sheldon could drive and had his license, and he enjoyed speeding where the road was straight and there wasn't much traffic. It got cut off at the end, but I did have the episode on the other TiVo. Plus "Man with a Plan" taped anyway on that machine and it was there too.
I saw Leonard in the new episode of "Roseanne" in a special that aired last night that explained why the show was popular, told us about controversies, and told us some details about the new episodes.

After the shooting, I am reminded that in one episode I saw, Amy said she feared that one day she's going to have to be the person who says, "He was quiet and kept to himself."
Something I had never realized about Young Sheldon. In the last episode I saw, Penny was reading one of Bernadette's parenting books. It would help until Sheldon turned six. Young Sheldon is actually more mature than adult Sheldon!
Also in that episode, Amy and Howard were working together.
