“Triplets” 4-26-03
Constantly searching, but never finding, anything.
No happiness, or friendliness, Only sadness.
I’m tough. Life’s rough. No bluff.

“Unmask” 11-7-09
I put on a mask, so that others won’t see. Hiding what I don’t like, or walking around quietly.
What do I need to do, In order to make a change? Thought and ideas clutter my head. Yet, it’s not anger or rage.
Is it something that I did? Was it how I was raised? I’m living my own life, so I don’t want anything erased.
Changing and evolving will be good, as I need to spread my wings. Unmask myself around others, and not worry about such things.

I went back and read your other poems too and I say I like your style you don't just write about the normal things everyone writes about and even when you write about an ordinary topic you make it unique different Look at me sounding like a teacher A+ for you kimba lol

I thought i replied to this? Oh well, thanks again Jen. I just wrote a poem yesterday after having some writer's block issues... I may add to it or edit it later so i'm waiting a few days before posting it.

Poetry.com changed their website those bastards. Until i can get it straightened out and can login again, i will post what is showing up on the search. Thankfully, "True Friend" was one that was saved which i promised awhile ago and never posted. The dates i wrote them will be posted at a later date.
"True Friend"
You are my true friend, who has always made me tough; but then again who's always liked the same stuff.
I lost you once not that long ago: You helped me learn and helped me grow.
I had a good friend once, Saw her just the other day. She made me smile but, Did not take my pain away.
I had a roommate for a year. To this I shed a tear: She left me after that you see, Couldn't let me be carefree.
You will always be the one that I know- You are my rainbow! One who cares and always will. For this you will always prevail.
Once more I say this to you, You are my true friend. I wrote this to you to transcend.
Dedicated to Lynette Pifer. (now Thomson)
"Fact or Fiction" This was the day I lost my virginity, but it wasn't to a man you see . . . it was to a lovely lady. This isn't the truth, only fantasy.
What makes it so appealing? Is there something I'm missing? It's not even happening . . . my life isn't that exciting. Is this based on fact or fiction? What is with all this friction? It's not my lifetime mission. So peeps don't be a dissin'!
I really should be sleeping, and no where close to working. I'm so tired, my body's aching. But clearly I've been thinking.
There is more than what meets the eye. I tell the truth, and can't tell a lie. To reread these words . . . oh my! But I certainly won't sit here and cry.
"Optimistic"
It was one of those days, when nothing goes right. I try to remain optimistic, but not much has changed tonight.
I try to face my fears, just like anybody else. But at times like these, nothing ever really helps.
I'm sure it could get worse, that's what everyone says. But do I really care? Am I truly blessed?
I listen to music, it helps just a bit. For at the current moment, Bob Dylan just fit.
I shed a few tears, with my cat on my lap. And look back at these words, to realize I need a nap.
