WF, Bette Midler's singing of the song brings back memories. I was watching the movie alone, and when she started singing that song, tears began to stream down my cheeks and I could not stop them. She touched something in me that I did not even know was there. Her voice is so beautiful. I'm glad you posted it.

This performance from the movie "Hair" always gives me goose bumps. She sings it in such a deadpan way but so clear that it cuts right through me.

I see this dude years ago at bayfront blues here in minnesota and when I heared his stuff I become a fan of his music he was know as kid johnny lang back then now he Johnny lang very good music.
