I found my 12-grain bread. I bought two loaves.
Tonight I start with the 15-grain bread.
Can you get frostbite from food in the freezer? My hand hurt so much after getting out my turkey burger for Tuesday. I have a couple of places on some fingers that are still bothering me.

That Reese's egg was so good but those eggs don't last long. I have two Cadbury eggs for the next two weekends.
I still have fingers that are irritated from something. Maybe last week's turkey burgers.
I had to dump a lot of ice that broke off in the freezer, and snow that got on various packages.
I'm almost out of the 15-grain bread. I'd rather not say why I'm glad. I still have two loaves of the 12-grain bread but don't know what I'll find in the next couple of weeks.

Cadbury eggs taste so good but they don't last.
I realized after I ate one that I would have never done it yesterday. We would have gotten together for Mother's Day and probably had dessert that I would have liked.
In fact, we missed the birthday lunch at my church which would have had dessert. I wouldn't have eaten any of my three eggs because I would still have cookies left. I was eating certain cookies on weekends.
In fact, I bought those eggs at CVS, and I only went there on one of my visits to the grocery that was the result of being at home all the time and needing to get out, and something must have been missing at the grocery. I might never have remembered the eggs.

I have gotten lunch twice at a barbecue place. When I could go inside, a barbecue sandwich came with hush puppies so I made sure to tell them the second time they forgot my hush puppies. Then they tried to charge me $2.25 for hush puppies. I said no, wait, when I got a sandwich inside, it came with hush puppies. They said just take them and we won't charge you. It sure took me a long time to eat them. There were so many. But they were good!

My refrigerator door wasn't closing. I knew how much it would cost to get it fixed but I wasn't worried. the Milk tasted bad but didn't cause any ill effects. Although I was close to finishing it and it tasted too terrible for me to continue. Biscuit cans were popping open but those were replaced.
Then on Wednesday the milk was solid and smelled bad. This was an emergency. In fact, after there had been all this ice in the freezer, most of it was gone. Did that mean even that wasn't cooling? At least I could see some ice, so I left everything there and put food from below there too. I got milk and put it up there too.
I went to the place that was recommended after my clothes dryer door wouldn't close easily. No new refrigerators that weren't really expensive-looking, but maybe this one could be fixed. The man came the next day and got that door problem solved. He said the fan wasn't working right because of all that ice, which had formed because of all the heat down below when the door wouldn't close. He said that had been a problem for a long time, apparently. I just needed to remove everything, unplug for a day and let the ice melt. I didn't do that because the ice was almost melted, but I did open the freezer door just enough. This morning, there was more ice, but I did the same thing again.

I keep having to open the freezer door because I see ice in front of the fan.
I like having milk that is cold and a light bulb that won't burn out.
I'm out of Ritz crackers. I haven't seen any on sale. Even Club crackers, which I've been eating instead, have been on sale. I have way too many.

I got Ritz crackers on the way to the mountains as I tried to reach 200 points.
No cabbage yesterday so, just in case, I got another container of slaw already made. This is better because the cabbage doesn't take long to not taste good.
Well, I don't remember why I originally came here.

At home: I opened the can of soup and on a day when it was nearly 90 degrees when washing the pot was still three days away, it was vegetable beef. I save that for days when I am going to wash dishes in a few minutes AND it's cold.
In the mountains: My usual place to eat breakfast on the day I go into town was closed. Just for breakfast. Had I looked more closely at the sign, I would have seen their temporary hours. I had no pancakes because I didn't know where I could get them with a credit card and not have to go through a drive thru and not have to pay too much. Had I gone where I got pancakes the next day I would have been fine but that place didn't have pancakes on Sunday. I think I mentioned the place on the gas price thread.
I didn't want to deal with walking to a different place to use the restroom, which I had to do each time I got lunch or supper at my favorite restaurant. No breakfast there, ever. I always got milk at a nearby gas station. Instead I went to a Dollar General. I had lettuce and tomato with lunch so my sandwich for supper didn't need one. I may have mentioned not being able to do what I planned on the gas price thread.
Once I was back home I went to a grocery store for my lunch rather than the convenience store which has a full restaurant that I was tired of. Really good chicken salad but no lettuce or tomato.

I ate two hot dogs from a grocery store. I brought them home and put my own slaw on (also from a grocery store).
One loaf of bread left. I hope to find this bread on sale where I get points next week.

Found the bread on sale.
Last loaf now turning green. I'm almost through with it.
Not food but I found a roll of square paper towels. And they aren't the good sturdy kind. Bounty is available in double rolls which are choose a size. No, thanks.

Still no more luck with paper towels and I can't find Lysol either. Mr. Clean doesn't kill germs, except for the yellow kind. People seem to have gotten the message and assume no Mr. Clean varieties kill germs. I will need a spray bottle if I run out of Lysol and have to buy Mr. Clean.
This morning I actually made slaw with cabbage. I had not bought cabbage since restrictions began. Not sure why. The last time I bought a container of slaw, the store was out of cabbage.

To get to 300 points, I had to buy bread that wasn't 12-grain but I have plenty of the other.
I did buy Mr. Clean since I had a coupon.

Popeyes chicken sandwiches are as good as they say.
I saw that there was a Popeyes as I went to Home Depot to buy a door. Yesterday I hadn't eaten lunch. Lowe's is closer but they tore down several stores to build a new one and left the old space empty for years.

I have five loaves of bread. I've already seen mold on one I just finished with so I hope that doesn't happen again.

Slaw at KFC costs $2.77. I bought hot dogs which were really good but needed slaw to put on them, and after checking to see what KFC had, I realized that was the solution. I couldn't tell that KFC put lettuce on their sandwiches and I sure wasn't paying that much just to have vegetables. What I found when i got home wasn't worth any $2.77 and I'm going to tell them so.

I opened a can of soup before I realized it was creamy chicken and dumplings. A week later the can still isn't clean, though I emptied a soap pump that was almost empty. Maybe next week. Getting the pot clean wasn't as hard as I expected because I just filled it with water, something I don't normally do.
I finally opened a roll of paper towels that are square and good quality. I've really needed these. Somehow I ended up with a bunch of extra rolls of paper towels from back when I could get the kind I wanted. I just didn't know I had them.
I'm out of my favorite crackers. My usual place to get them didn't have them, but for a long time I had to go to a different place to get them. I haven't been going there with libraries closed, but I will anyway. I still need an electric razor.
Although there wasn't much slaw, I didn't need much for hot dogs. I used more on hot dogs at home and then still more on sloppy toms. The cabbage looks so bad I won't get any more for a while. I'll just deal with containers.

I thought I had two loaves of one type of bread. I looked and looked but could only find one. I've used part of the first of two loaves of another style and I've bought two loaves of the kind I like.
I forgot to get lunch yesterday! I remembered when I got home and made a sandwich. I bought slaw because I'm tired of gray spots on my cabbage, so that's one way I was able to eat more. Now if I had just thought of that when I was looking at sandwiches at Speedway.

All I have left are two loaves of 12-grain bread, starting tonight. I didn't go to the store where I get points this week because I couldn't possibly get 100 more points, so no benefit until Thursday, when that other library opens ... and there is a store in that other town. I forgot.

I'm nearly out of the second to last loaf of bread and I have had mold. I hope the last loaf won't.
And my bread was on sale yesterday so I bought two.

The last loaf did have mold but I was able to eat enough of each slice.
I have four loaves left including the one I opened over the weekend.

And I once again have four loaves left including the one that's open.
I forgot hamburger buns but I can get them tomorrow.
I also got pumpkin pie. It's a pain to deal with. I decided not to wrap it but it's hard to get it in and out of the box. The plastic wrap has been so hard to get off the roll and tear for hot dogs. I did that last week. Once I mess up the box, tearing is very difficult.

I have five loaves of bread. I thought it was four. I recently had to remove some green spots.
I forgot to mention Thanksgiving. I got to have everything I wanted on the big day (though I wish it had been another day and that the family could have been together). I may have said that on another thread.

So the solution for the five loaves of bread is to do what I did this morning. Actually, I can only do it so many times because I have four hamburger buns left. So I have to use those over the next two weeks. But I used four slices of bread today.
And I'm eating fruitcake, but as with so many things, I'm not really tasting it the way I have in the past. The parts that are sweet taste just fine but not all of it is sweet, and what doesn't taste sweet tastes different somehow.

Three loaves now, plus however many other slices I have left.
Someone from my church gave me Andes candies. I've also got Christmas cookies I can eat over the weekend.
Normally I get nuts and Chex mix. There's no hurry. I may be able to earn points if they're on sale.

It's four loaves. I didn't use hamburger buns today, hoping those will last, because the bread might not.
But I opened a new roll of paper towels and under those was the fourth loaf.

Three loaves until earlier this week when I got two more because they were on sale. That's riskier because one of the latest ones has to last two weeks. But if I can avoid hamburger buns, no problem. Square slices of bread have more room anyway. More fiber could be a problem.

I opened a new loaf of bread and of course it had green spots on it. But after eating the top three slices minus the corners, I don't see any more.
I need to remember to always make sure mixed nuts are unsalted. It threw me to find them in a bag not a can, and then I didn't look for unalted. But when my hadns are dry the salt just burns.
