hes in great shape age is a number if he decides next year that hes healthy enough to play than he will. Till then David Robertson's the Yankee closer Davids ready .

yeah on Friday. David has not pitched yet in a close position but they let him pitch the ninth even though the Yankees were ahead. Hes so ready for the job.

the Yankee are winning games but theve been close. finally it seems all the boys are really waking up and hitting well. Even Alex(who I cant stand) drove in a big run. Ibanez hit two home runs. And Swisher held some guys from scoring with his arm. there starting to play as a team and not depending on one guy. Everyone is needed.

he had a bad outing bit its still a no brainier that hes the closer. Between Robertson and Soriano, Soriano lacks a put away pitch . Robertson last light missed location. another thing to think about is the rays are in first place they could hit Mariano, its the rays there a great team they hit everyone. Agienst this team you cant tip your hat to pitching you need to deliver in batting no more leaving runners in scoring position.
