This is such great work, Ashley.

You seem to have discovered that singing is not just technique, it's also acting. You have to actually feel the emotions of the song or the character as you're singing them and tap into them for it to be effective, otherwise it comes off as not feeling true to the listener. Just watch any video of Judy Garland or Frank Sinatra singing to see how essential it is.

As I'm listening to your performance I totally believe you're that character and feeling the emotions they feel. It all rings true. You know how to give all to the art you're creating.

Keep up the great work. I have no doubt we'll see you on Broadway some day.

Here's something I'm wondering. If you were to tap into the feeling of triumph at the key change toward the end of the song just a bit more, would it make the beautiful understated ending of the song more effective? Show more of a range? I don't know, but might be worth trying out to see how it works.

I've listened to your performance 8 times now, and yes, it's that good.

You weren't just singing a song. You were feeling it! Just amazing. There's not an untrue moment in that performance.

When do you have time to Ski trip Ashley?

it was just for a day i went saturday my friends paerent got the boys a cabin and i went up just for a few hours of night skiing. its not to far about two hours to drive to the resort and i have my own skiis and a pass so its not to pricey like 30 dolors for night skiing and its more during the day at night it gets faster and slicker to its harder to ski than the groomed morning snow but theirs less boarders so i like it more.
