One thing I have learned, my dear brother, is that in the struggle between ego and humility, you really can't have one without the other. They are yin and yang: we need them both. Surprisingly, humility is the one, often sadly lacking, that would make most of us stronger. And let's say the word: there is love here. We each depend upon each other because it is something we earned as a group. And we have decided that it--they--WE--were important to each other. And who'd want to live without what we've all known for so long? 1. We were shut down by an unappreciative network who didn't know what they had. 2. Like pirates we found an unused website (that in reality had been our old home) and used it as a staging point, only to be attacked and sent running by a corporate version of the Alliance. 3. We welcomed all, from prostitutes to preachers, and had a wide diversity of characters, from all walks of life. If we'd been offered enough money, we probably would have even hauled cattle or horses. We did carry one very important hamster in this journey. 4. We found our own ship, and set out upon new journeys, seeking to find our allies and family. We have done the impossible. And that makes us mighty. ![]() Little did we know that she was a juggler. |
