well the Yankees won they had a shut out but Cory Wade nearly blew the game. Its ok I really Like Corys pitching he just elevated to many pitched over the plate. there was a weird nearly a Jeter play by Dwayne wise. Dwayne went into the stands nearly catching a ball. the ball hit the heal of the glove and he lost it. some fan put a ball in his glove and the ump called it an out. Dwayne seems so dazed coming out im not sure he even really know. I dont think that ump saw anything . Bad call. I dont like Dwayne wise at all but hes working on me its nice to see some effort outta him.I wish the Yankees would Use Jason Nix now him I really like but he never gets to play I think Jeters getting the night off and Jason plays short so maybe we will see tonight. I know the Yankees like there older guys but they cant waste great talent. Cano's exploding Swishers making some breathtaking plays Ibanez is hitting Tex is doing well Alex found his power the whole teams just so much better now if only our starting pitching was a little better. Hugues did great but hes still a week spot oh did yall see the Nationals kill the Rockies. the Way the Nat's are Playing There diffidently contenders. Martin isn't hitting worth him playing at all except the bench. |

Pettite fractured his ankle and Sabathia pulled his groin. Garcia will probably take Sabathias spot and David Phelps will come back up from the minors for Pettite that's what I believe Girardi should do or make Cody Eppley into a starter. I didn't see or hear about this how did both happen Ashley? |

I agree Martins not hitting at all. but hes made nice calls and plays at home. I kinda wish they would get Cervelli back though hes playing triple A now bad call by the Yankees.Cervelli is a Catcher who can bat martin throws better though.
with Pettite the batter hit one back and off his foot. he tried to make the play. they finaly got him up and he threw another pitch but he know he was done and limped off.
CC was Just thowing pitches and he pulled something. Hes lose about 50 pounds but hes still big and overweight id immagine its taking a toll on him. hes on a 15 day dl

Andy Petite and CC are gone for awhile. Petite may never come back.

I was enjoying the good music last night as I drove home. Then right in the middle of a song, a stupid baseball game. Yes, I know this is the price to be paid for a station playing this music which is also doing well--the owner of the station likes sports and does play-by-play for many events on his station.
Anyway, it wasn't too hot, so turning off the air condtioning and changing to country music--the good kind--was actually a possibility.

yes they may suck but I still watch them. your a real fan sticking by your team threw this. the twins have some really great players but things haven't gone there way at all |

they just run into some good ballplayers this year too sometimes they do better after all star game so maybe they will get better then.

He is excellent. and we can thank him he opened the door for tall shortstops without him Jeter probably wouldn't be a short stop. and he was a shortstop with power.

Just this past Wednesday I heard someone at the library talking about a man who goes to my church. It's unbelievable he can still go to church. He uses a walker, and I heard the man at the library say he was 93. But he used to coach American Legion baseball and he was also baseball coach at the college where I go to the library and walk for exercise. I think he set some sort of record for wins. |

wow werll hopefully they do well. I hear the Giants cheated in the all star voting envurging fans to make fake emails and stuff. you know the baseball board should choose the teams ian Desmond from the nats should have his spot but I guess we will see.
im preaty sure Cano got second and Jeter got short and granderson may get the outfield
