"Get her running again." Is this or is this not, us at The Evicted?

Aw... that was... kinda not so shiny... It seems Zoe wasn't real impressed at first. Loving the theme, as usual! "You can't take the sky from me..." Sorry, sometimes I sing along to the theme... did that with Smallville too...

I love how they celebrate each other no matter what.

It was a nice celebration for the doctor until the emergency. I love the effects of the fire being sucked out into space. Probably an arsonist's dream scene.

Mal certainly believes in discipline, no matter what is going on, but everyone knows he cares about his crew.

I do like how they're like a family and they always celebrate each other... kinda like us...
And of course Mal's gonna try to keep things runnin' but he does care for the crew.

Mal and Wash - nice discussion. I thought River was giving some encouraging words, but "we will freeze first".

River's always hilarious.
Lesson here: you should always listen to Kaylee.

Now I see why a certain gentleman, who usually likes bad girls, loves Kaylee.

I hope Mal can trust those guys. Their captain does not seem hospitable.

So now you see what it takes to get Jayne on your side. Anything above 7% and a bunk of your own.

MisterMoonlight is like the Captain - you have to know a little something about everything to run the ship.

Now I see why a certain gentleman, who usually likes bad girls, loves Kaylee. Like I said, I'd be a goner for her. She'd have my number in about 3 seconds, though. Not as witty or heroic as Mal, not as smart and decent as Simon, and--obviously--Shepard Book is off the table. So, there ya go.

The Jayne scene is pretty funny! MisterMoonlight is like the Captain - you have to know a little something about everything to run the ship. And I agree 100% on that!

MisterMoonlight is like the Captain - you have to know a little something about everything to run the ship. I do have a little training in that. Running a public radio station meant that I was over all kinds of things I didn't know much about, like engineering, but luckily most of my crew wasn't like Jayne. I do wish that the guy who was our engineer looked a little more like Kaylee, though.

You have to dodge bullets everyday on the forum and you're certainly witty enough. I agree, Chloe, Jayne is really funny - not too smart - but very funny. The captain wants his family there when he awakens. So sweet.

Aw! I loved this episode! Capt knew enough to fix the ship and he wanted his family to be there when he woke up! I just love it!
And the last scene where he fell in love with the ship... I just love it! This is definately one of my favorite episodes!

Yes, but he told them to leave. They came back because they love him, although no one on this show would ever say that.
And they don't have to, because it's there. That's what good writing can do.
I relish that wonderfully understated final scene when the guy who's trying to sell him a ship is telling him how wonderful it is, but Malcolm can't see anything but the Firefly. That's love, too.

That is good writing... I can see the love... actually it's almost like I can feel the love, because it's so similar to what we have here...
And the very last scene, where Mal could only see the Firefly... I can tell right there, that is love.

Yes, great episode.
Favorites: Mal staring at the Firefly in the final scene Kaylee appearing from the engine section and fixing the ship River explaining to Shepard they would freeze first Zoe saving a plate of food for Wash Jayne shooting his partner and becoming a crew member Mal exerting authority in time of crisis and then telling Wash to see to his wife.

With each episode, I can really see many many many similarities between us and Firefly... and Moon is just like Mal... with humor, and he knows what needs to be done... and just like Mal, Moon found the ship which we call home (this forum), he found his crew (the staff), even took in 'passengers' (the other members of our family)... I can see a lot of Firefly in us... And I'm proud to be a browncoat!
