I was watching "The Neighbors" and Larry Bird wanted to win an Oscar. His wife Jackie Joyner-Kersee studied Oscar-wning movies and dec ided she wanted to do what Sandra Bullock did in "The Blind Side". She started talking with a Southern accent and "rescued" a white girl, who wondered why she was talking like Reba.
I am reminded that on the old WB boards, a topic was called "Reba doesn't think she has an accent". I don't really feel this way but I said, "She doesn't have an accent. Y'all are the ones with accents." Actually, I should have said, "She don't". And I never use "y'all".

It was cool to see fellow country singer Laura Bell Bundy be on last night's episode. I like where her character's story line went. God bless you and her always!!! Holly I think I missed that one. For those of you who don't know, I fell on the ice and couldn't live on my own for a month. I couldn't record shows where I was. |

I don't know how long "9 Investigates" will last but I will likely be watching this show with an antenna, hoping that will work.

I thought Blake Shelton was really good. The episode was good.
I did succeed in watching this with an antenna. See "Last Man Standing" for more.

What didn't you like about it since you said it was only okay Holly? To me, the show seems to be getting away from what I thought that it was really supposed to be about and that is Reba trying to get something going for herself in the music business after setting it aside all this time for a cheating sack of bones, SOB for short. I think she trying to move on from that because the music buzz does want her because they consider her too old for music buzz.

Rayna James is a has-been and that's not stopping her on "Nashville". She's younger and prettier than Reba ... well, as long as she's not tired and showing how many wrinkles she has. Amazingly at her age, Reba doesn't have wrinkles.

I think the show is going to get her into writing songs even more. The storyline with her working is not the main one but it is getting a little more involved.

In Friday night's episode she wrote a song, with help from Kim.
Kim is gorgeous considering she's not exactly the ideal body type.
I don't care which outfit June wore. I just liked her bra.
