That was fun! I'm glad we watched it. They are all awesome, even Kaylee. She was scared witless, but she was there and she did not get them killed. And what about Shepard Book? Does he know a thing or too more about combat than you would expect from a man of the cloth? Yes, they shot rats at the monastery.  |

Does he know a thing or too more about combat than you would expect from a man of the cloth? The answer to that, is yes. At least for me, it's more than what I would have expected, unless he was protecting his family from trespassers, that sort of thing. And that would only be a simple shotgun or pistol, not really combat per se. |

Favorites: A lot happened, but #1 has to be... River shooting 3 men without looking Shepard's knowledge of weapons and being a sharpshooter Mal's and Wash's dialogue during torture  Jayne's lust over the two women "I'll be in my bunk"  The crew arming themselves for rescue and Jayne has Vera Special shout out to Zoe for her forward roll and shoot "Something the captain has to do for himself." "No, it's not!"  Niska bringing Mal back to life so he can kill him slowly Mal electrocuting the torturer There was so much. I might have omitted some. Loved all of it, but I did close my eyes on the torture scene after Wash left. |

The thing I remember him most from before Firefly was his stint on a show with some of the funniest guys in the business: Barney Miller. |
