Thanks for the information. I guess people, like me, came too late to the party to help pay the cost for production. But it is never too late to become a fan. I am a huge fan and after watching 'Doing the Impossible', it's amazing I did not know of the phenomenon. I remember hearing news about Firefly but had it confused with a love story (maybe Mel Gibson or someone) and did not focus on it.
I thought SPN fans were phenomenal, but it looks as if Firefly fans were the pioneers. Go Browncoats.
The 'Walk On' video is a plus. I had run to get my headphones to listen to Mal's song, so I enjoyed both songs with excellent sound quality. It is a joy to know I can return to these threads to watch clips and listen to the music and reread the comments.
With all due respect to Barry White and the dance, and the many corporate retreats I attended, I think this was a best bonding exercise I have ever participated in. Thank you so very much.

I'm a fan of a lot of things other than Firefly, but I can't think of another that I'm more passionate about.
And I agree that it was a great bonding experience. I'd never actually done a SynchroWatch before, other than the times some of us would post in the SFSF thread as we were watching a new episode of Smallville. But it wasn't the same as this.
Thanks to the Firefly.net site I found this video that Moreena Baccarin did for the Firefly 19th reunion at ComicCon this year:

No, she really supports him. What's funny is that Nathan loved his role as Malcolm Reynolds so much that there are Firefly references in Castle. Nathan is Richard Castle in the show, Castle.

No, it was just the kind of thing the Firefly cast does to one another, I gather, such as when Jewel Staite (Kaylee) and Morena Baccarin (Inara) would have fake fights on the set and say things like "I'm so sick of looking at your face" to one another in order to shock people. They're actually best friends. ![]() |
