I like the movie it seems to keep with the book pretty much except for Celias demeanor

I think Celia's right on with the character in the book. What did you notice different?
I'm watching it with my cousin right now, and we're enjoying it a lot. Brings back a lot of memories for both of us.

I don't think the dining room scene at the Foote's house and the church scene at the end were in the book, but they were a great addition.

I was surprised that someone with skeeters unique good looks was portrayed as plain or ugly when i have seen others with unique good looks nearly worshiped for being such a different beauty

As we watched it last night, my cousin and I called aloud the names of the women who were like mothers to us, two black and one white, "Anna, Louise, Hazel."
