I saw Carrie yesterday and I enjoyed it very much. No complaints at all.
They stayed true to the original story, but it was brought into current times by using smart phones and other technology.
Carrie used her abilities more in this one than I remember her doing before.
It was very well done.

The site I use said 50% of critics liked it and 64% of the viewers liked it.
I think the people who watch it without ever seeing the original one would love it. People who compare it with the first one would probably think it was not changed very much.
But if they did change the story, people would still complain.

Yeah, it made $17 million so far and was the top new movie box office show for the weekend...way ahead of everything else.
I did not mention that this Carrie was a very beautiful girl.
