The boys got to see Green Lantern for the first time this evening. The came upstairs telling me all about how awesome it was. (I, of course, had pre-screened it a few days ago.) I'm glad they liked it. For me, the only time Ryan Reynolds seemed like Hal Jordan was in the final scene, but that was more the writers than anything else. But I remember what it's like to get that feeling about a superhero movie, and I still get it fairly often, thank goodness. There's an 8-year old boy or girl somewhere inside all of us fans.

So I was just on tvline.com and there was an article about the biggest disappointments in tv this year. Smallville was mentioned for the fact that we never saw Clark in the suit.
Have to say I agree. All these months later and I am still disappointed.
Thoughts?? You know, I think for most of us the biggest thrill was seeing Clark become Superman on that episode. You could see it on his face. Yes, you're right, he didn't wear the costume enough, and we didn't get a close-up, but there were tears in my eyes when I saw Jonathan Kent hand Clark the Superman suit.

Thanks, Moonster! I'm happy that I got my avatar in there (although it looks a bit blurry). I guess there are no subscriptions. Is bookmarking the same thing?

I haven't used it yet, but it seems to be very similar. Here are a couple of posts from the support forum about it: Hi You can add a topic to your bookmarks by clicking on the button within the topic, or by selecting the tick box on the reply page. You can view your list of bookmarked topics via the View Bookmarks option on your profile page [Profile >> view bookmarks]. By default, you will not receive notification of replies to your bookmarks, however, you can change this. You can opt to receive notification of replies by PM, email, or have no notification at all. This option can be changed via the manage bookmarks link which is on the bookmarks page. You can also delete your bookmarks from this page. Hope that helps It's also found in the top left as well, just above where it says "Author" above the first post

I do agree with you Moon about seeing Clark become Superman. It was amazing after so long. I too had tears in my eyes when I watched that scene with Jonathan. I'm awaiting the arrival of season 10 on DVD. It is a late Christmas gift for my son. He will then have all the seasons. I'm looking forward to rewatching it. We have had a blast with all the others, me especially because I hadn;t really seen the first four seasons.

I didn't see much of the past two years, up till the last five episodes in the series, so I've got some catching up to do, too!
Sorry to call it quits so soon, but sleepiness is getting to me. Hope to talk to you again tomorrow.

No problem Moon. I'm heading to bed soon myself. Working again in the morning and I have to be up way too early again.
Had a long long day. Baked 18 DOZEN chocolate chip cookies from scratch with my daughter. Glad to spend the day with her and the Granddaughters.

Hi Bats, we take copyright issues seriously, since it's part of our Terms of Service agreement, so anytime anyone raises a question we investigate it.
This morning I took a look around and found that it's all over the internet, and most probably had a start in association with the "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" song. Lots of people have created their own versions around the net, too, and posted them for download on emoticon sites.
It is not an image that is proprietary to the CW Network, if that's what you're asking.
I'll continue to investigate and see what more I can discover.

Well I was planning teriyaki chicken and lots of vegetables.
Maybe just an aspirin will do, though.
You?

Great minds. . .
Ugh. Hard enough to eat a whopper, without eating after freezing and defrosting. Sometimes I think you are way too frugal for your own good.
I'm gonna go crazy. I'm sure of it. They are having this music festival in town, and it's NOT my kind of music. Everything in my house is vibrating, including my brain. I swear, I live in the most dumbed-down city in the country!
Not yet. It has just been weirdly warm. Low 50s today. The music revelers are loving it.
Are you officially on weekend time?

I was sure to tell them to hold the tomato and lettuce on the second one.....nothing is as unhappy as soggy and wilted veggies. ( I was secretly hoping to use that smiley) How bad is the music?..... Officially...yes.....but my inner clock is saying 'go to bed'.

It's really, really bad. I'm not even sure what to call it. I think it is its own genre. My kids and I were cracking up this morning when we pulled up the event website and started reading the band names. I'll send you the link, see if you recognize any of them.
I hope you can hang on a bit longer. You get 4 days again?

I can understand that. I don't get slack time very often, but when I do, I don't always use it in wise ways.
I hope you have a happy weekend.

Bats.....do you have any ear plugs? Yes. I also have my noise-cancelling headset. I was thinking I should see if I can hook that up to the police scanner.

Hello Harls How goes it? Timmy ;D
So glad to know you are here.
Things are well around here. Thrilled to be off work for three days. Starting to look for another job next week. My boss made me feel completely stupid today and I did not appreciate it at all. So the job hunt starts again..
How are you dear friend??
Btw I truly love being called Harls. Just makes me
