Since smallville ending now here years watching 5 or 4 superhero shows and can't wait for crossover where Batwoman will be team up with them.

The SFSF was created after the "Reckoning" episode of Smallville in January 2006 in which Jonathan Kent died. I was so distraught by that episode that I sought out others online at the WB Forum for Smallville who felt likewise. I soon found myself in a morass of viewers who knew nothing about the characters from the comics, and didn't care. I would find out that these were called "shippers" because they only cared about the relationships that they wanted to happen, and much less about the characters themselves.
After a short time of navigating those boards I founded The Shipper-Free Smallville Forum as a haven from shipper content. We also established that humor and creativity was what we sought in posts, and were amazingly rewarded, in many cases causing friendships that have lasted through decades.
Unfortunately, just as we hit our stride it became apparent that the WB would not succeed as a broadcast entity on its on, and so it was merged with the United Parmamount Network, which had the rights to all Star Trek televison series, and both of them were bought by CBS, which renamed the new network "The CW."
We would see our beloved boards stripped to nothing and die within the next year or two, because they did not want to deal with fans on a forum any more. There were times when when the boards were filled with spammers, yet the forces that be were more concerned with taking down desperate posts from members who were trying to keep in touch with one another. It was nothing less than a war against online fans.
We became The Evicted, and found our own way. And somehow we are still here, together.
I think it's wonderful that Batwoman is getting a series, especially since Greg Berlanti will be overseeing things.

I so remember when you did create that thread Moon, it feels like a lifetime ago.
I literally had no idea that just a few years later I would lose my own dad and the love and support from that online family was truly incredible. I still treasure it.
