My cousin was watching The Great Outdoors, the movie John Candy and Dan Akkroyd made, the other day, and I said to her "I sure do miss John Candy."
I've been a fan since his Second City Television Network (SCTV) days.
John always tried to make people laugh, and God knows we need that.
Or at least I do.

It's ironic that you mentioned him, one of my pastors was driving my mom and me home Sunday from church and he was mentioning the movie "Canadian Bacon" with him in it and how he was hilarious in that!

Some remakes I didn't like were the holiday ones like Rudolph and the island of misfit toys I was upset they remade that one it looks so baby-ish now

Yep he did!
Some remakes should have never been made but one remade movie was actually really good and that was Rear Window with Christopher Reeve, that version was amazingly good!

I watched all of the Home Alone movies although I did not enjoy McCaulkin's performance. I thought he overly exaggerated, and he annoyed me. Really?  How dare you not like him!  As for remakes, I don't like remakes. I can't think of one remake that ever did something justice. |
