"Chloe came to you earlier with her husband, this is Roger, Ashley's sister, my late wife. Why did you not answer when they came earlier?" Clark asked.

"I did not recognize him, my son" Lara explained "He has the look of his mother but I do sense bits of his father in him"

Roger sighed "We wanted to ask you about my father's journal" he said politely

Jor-el appeared before them at that moment

Clark wondered what they meant but looked at Roger to continue.

Roger explained that he had read his father's journals and how Chloe had scanned the pages that Ashley had not translated and how there was an inscription that looked like either Lara or Jor-el had written it.

Lara glanced at the pages that Roger held out and shook her head "I did not do this" she glanced at Jor-el "Did you my husband?"

Jor-el shook his head "no I did not"

"Do you know who did?" Clark asked.

Lara sighed 'It looks like what his mother did" Lara said handing the journal back to Roger "I think she did it to throw you off"

Jor-el nodded "I think Lara is right, I do not think it was possible for us to have done because Krypton was destroyed just before the journal ended"

Clark sighed and lowered his head slightly. No matter how often he heard that, he felt a tinge of sadness.

"What did you mean he has his mother's looks but you sense his father about him? What were his parents like?" Clark said.

"His father was Kryptonian like we were but his mother was from the cloud planet Cuvino where you first found him after he rescued Ashley, his father had light brown hair, deep green eyes like Roger does, he had a skin color that looked always tanned but it wasn't and he was my height" Jor-el explained and then Lara spoke "And his mother had black hair and grayish blue eyes but she somehow found a way to make sure her child would look more like his father than her"

Jor-el then spoke again "Roger's father was a brillian man he understood science well and it was unforunate the council kept rejecting his research he went by the name Rud and his mother was a quiet person and she seemed to full of big plans and her name was..."

before Jor-el could reveal her name Roger spoke up "It was Alyssa she had a human name because her parents had done research on Earth before she was born but she worked side by side with my father until she stole his sperm right?"

Lara and Jor-el "Correct Roger"

"Why? And what about Ashley? What were her parents like?" Clark asked.

"Rud wasn't happy after the love of his life died from her illness but he met Ashley's mother while she was on Earth afterall she was human but Rud kept his visits secret even from me, I had no idea what had happened, Rud was Ashley's father but her mother Natasha was a pretty tiny thing not much taller than your Earth mother Martha Kent, she had the strawberry blonde hair that Ashley had and the blue eyes as well. Natasha was studying to be a doctor when Lionel Luthor had her killed because she refused to work for him so Ashley's Aunt and Uncle raised her from the time she was 3 until 18" Lara said trying not to cry

Clark was speechless.

"Also Lionel had Rud killed as well because of Natasha refusing to let Lionel be near him because she knew that Rud was special because of his abilities but she refused to let Lionel know that" Lara continued.

"Then how did my sister get leukemia?" Roger asked concerned

Lara sighed "Her mother Natasha had it and when she was pregnant with Ashley it spread to her in the bloodstream that is how it happened"

"Any other questions?" Jor-el asked

[Watchtower]

Clark was speechless. He could not think of any other questions.

"Not right now thank you though" Roger answered politley

"Are you through as well my son?" asked Jor-el

[Watchtower]

"Yes, thank you, mother and father." Clark said.

"You're welcome and farawell for now" Jor-el said and with that they both vanished

"That certainly was an interesting discussion" Roger said looking stunned

Clark was also stunned. He was trying to make sense of it all.

"I-I'll be fine." Clark said. "Let's go get the pizzas and go home." He added.

Roger shook his head "Come on Clark, talk to me"

"If Ashley was half-kryptonian, then she would have been invulnerable, but the leukemia must've weakened her... But now I can't help but think what if I was able to save her? What about Christine and Renee and Timmy? They all have Ashley's genes, what if they inherit the leukemia gene? And if Lois and I have our child, will he or she have superpowers." Clark continued rambling.

Roger sighed "I know it's something to think about because I know Vanessa is probably going to have some abilities of her own and besides Christine seems to have some of her mom's abilities already, she has the invisibilty trait, Timmy I don't know about and Renee? Well that remains to be seen doesn't it?" Roger said trying to reassure Clark

"You're right." Clark sighed

"Then why don't we go head back to our girls and children as well?" Roger suggested

Clark nodded. "But let's go get them their pizzas." He reminded Roger.

"Great idea, we better get a move on" Roger said putting on his jacket.

Clark nodded and sped to Italy with Roger to get the pizza then speed home.

Roger flew close behind Clark making sure they weren't being followed

Soon they arrived home with the pizza.

Roger helped set the table and then he called out for the girls and the children for dinner.
