"The Middle" clearly showed this week that it is entitled to be ahead of this show in my top 10.

I remember something else. They're trying to get all these different people to recommend Eve for West Point. I don't know if that's a good idea. I don't know how many people each one can recommend.

I agree Mike got too much attention in that magazine article. Ed is the one who started the store.

I felt sorry for Eve but these things happen. The Panthers never tied before but it's only because the other team did what Eve did.

I watched "Cristela". Did anyone else notice they use the same set as this show?

"Cristela" has changed their set. It looks like the set on this show but the front door is now on the left and the kitchen is on the right.

I'm not crazy about that show and don't know how long I can keep watching.

Mandy wears such beautiful outfits.

Mike and Ryan were going at it like Archie and Meathead. Meathead, for those who don't know, is the legendary director Rob Reiner, whose best-known acting role is Michael Stivic on "All in the Family". Archie considered him a Meathead.

Here we go again. Ryan thinks coal is evil. In North Carolina it's the same thing. Duke Energy (started by the same family that gave money to Duke University) is the biggest utility in the state and they've worked hard to upgrade their coal plants and shut down their oldest ones. and the environmentalists can't get enough. Unlike Vanessa, they say there's no such thing as clean coal. The opponents of coal want wind, solar, hydroelectric but that won't be enough. And if they needed more ammunition, Duke had a terrible accident where they stored coal waste from one of their old plants, and the pollution spread into another state where they don't even operate.

I feel bad for Vanessa, though I draw the line at fracking. I just don't think it's safe even if she thinks she can make it safe. But she seems to be getting out of private industry and maybe she can make a difference as a teacher. "Dangerous Minds" may have been one of Michelle Pfeiffer's less sexy roles, but she was sure better looking than Annie Potts in the TV series. Interestingly, Ed was one of those movie teachers who made a difference.

Mandy looked good in the outfit she wore on Election Day. I'm not sure how I feel about the glasses.

I knew Kristin shouldn't be voting. She walked in there and I thought she lived in a totally different neighborhood. She can't vote there.

I agree with Eve, sort of. I nearly flunked art. I sang in high school but never played an instrument. But I was in the chorus just one year because I just didn't like the other people who did sing.

Mandy's dress showed off her figure nicely but I wasn't that crazy about it.

I almost thought Mike had found a way to buy a lot of Mandy's clothes. but maybe she is successful selling a premium product. I hadn't even thought about having clothes in every size in a store but of course she'd need to do it.

I hadn't thought of taxes either.

I figured she had gone up too much on her prices. But if it's really good then the upscale moms will find her.

I liked how they had Highlights magazine in the episode. Like Mike, I liked Goofus and Gallant the best.

My dentist didn't replace Highlights for years and I kept seeing the same one.

I had chicken pox. I should get a shingles vaccine. I just haven't yet.

I was vaccinated for pretty much everything else. I did have mumps when a kid came to school with them. But I like the way Mike and Ryan handled the situation.

I never thought Kyle would be good at shooting. Eve would naturally be good at it.

Mandy is still so dumb! Leopard, but the d is silent!

I can't believe Kyle rides a motorcycle. But injuries like that would explain a lot.

I'm glad Ed went back to doing things the way he did before. I was getting worried. Yes, we should be healthier, but don't tell us we have to.

I'm glad Mandy wanted Kyle to quit riding. But then Jasmine wants Crosby to quit riding on their show. Crosby wouldn't do it. He's tougher than Kyle.

Eve shouldn't have done what she did. I thought it was a good thing because she won the game, but what if it had gone wrong? Only the coach gets to make such a call. I'm wondering how she would have ever learned to throw. That's a skill that has to be practiced and i don't think kickers do that. I

That was a good episode. I too have a stockpile of bulbs but I think I broke some by not being careful because some I never used don't work.

The power company told us we could get some CFL bulbs free. I did, but I was very careful because I was scared to drop and break one. But they don't need changing. I haven't changed one yet. And these bulbs are the same color as incandescent ones, so that's not a reason for not using them. You just have to find the right type.

However, they don't fit under whatever you call the cover that goes over the bulbs in my bedrooms. There's a larger cover in the living room so it fits there. I have fixtures in a bathroom I don't use which allow those to fit. When the day comes, I'll have to spend however much on bulbs that are the size of incandescent bulbs, which are made.

It occurs to me that they will have to make incandescent bulbs for TV shows and movies set years ago.

Three-way bulbs are one exception. Also refrigerator bulbs. And bulbs for situations where they might break. There's a name for those.

Mandy moving out. Who would have thought it? Kyle is too moral for me to have thought he would move in with her. I did like the way they dealt with keeping the secret. Poor Eve didn't get what she wanted.

Me too. I thought I had to change a light bulb recently, and the new one came from my stash. Before I screwed it in, though, the process of unscrewing the old one made it come back on.

Almost forgot. A newspaper article talked about weak links. It said Ryan, Kristin AND Boyd were the weak links on this show. I have to agree.

Haven't had time yet but I think it's still there. It has been difficult rescuing everything but I've watched enough that I think I will get to see it all.

It wasn't even live and I already know the start was cut off, but I'll see it when there is a rerun. If you're going to do some news special, make sure you show the episode you pre-empted EXACTLY when you say you will!
