This is a thread where we can discuss episodes, characters, quotes and other things related to this series.
I know that Tracy Pollan the real life wife of Michael J. Fox is supposed to guest star on the series and that the series is very loosely based on Michael J. Fox's actual life.
His character's name is Michael Henry and that he has 4 kids it looks like he was a television news anchor for NBC and is just now returning back to work after leaving for so long.

I really liked it! I love how they made fun of that cheesy promo NBC kept showing early on to promote the show! (of michael j fox slowly walking down the street)  The cast is also great all around. I really hope this does well against Robin Williams new comedy. |

I watched the first 15 minutes of it and I loved it! I think I spotted Michael J. Fox's real life mentor and second father Gary David Goldberg in the scene where he was walking down the street with his son Graham and his daughter Eve. I can't wait to see the rest of it later on!

2nd episode was funny wasn't it AVP and his wife was also in it that cool haven't see her for a whole too.

I enjoyed the scenes where Michael and the wife were trying to be intimate. The kids probably don't think their parents do that and they kept walking into the room. Then the youngest one wanted to know what top position was. I also like the humor of the normal family issues they have like trying to get everyone to sit at the table to eat. The 911 call was too funny. When the cop said even if he cancels the call, they still have to show up - it took 45 minutes for them to show up.  |

I remember that 911 call scene, it was hilarious! I loved seeing Graham (the youngest son) and Michael sitting on the door of the dishwasher like it was a chair which caused it to break, it was funny to see because in the photos I had seen of the scene I always thought they were sitting on a step but nope it was the dishwasher door.
I haven't seen the second episode yet but I am sure it was hilariously funny!
It is nice to see him back on television and making us laugh again, I feel like a kid watching "Family Ties" and "Spin City" again, I know he is enjoying it and that's great too because it really reflects in the presentation of the show.

I agree. I had no trouble understanding him. Hey Marshall, Anti, Does he still have it since is his illness? Yes, he still has it, and they made a lot of jokes about it on the show. My favorite was when he was giving a newscast and his shaking made his chair roll off camera while he was talking. |
