I think I'm losing my mind being around you guys in the Main forum... ![]() That would be very easy in this place. Just remember to stay calm at all times.....and take as much alcohol as possible. ![]() Okay, you say that and you don't even know if I am of age... Plus, with my meds, I cannot have alcohol, so do you want me to end up in the hospital? |

You're in Ireland and that means the age level where you can have alcohol is younger than the US...  The point of my joke was that I had JUST turned 21 just before these boards were even made and 21 is the lowest age in which you can drink here in the US. And I take some meds where drinking can be more dangerous... I can drink but one glass in my absolute limit as far as I know, unless I wanted to be ill. |

I choose not to drink because of someone who has a family history of alcholoism I chose not to drink even though I am the age to drink I very rarely drink

My old college is going there this summer for their study abroad trip and and since I now know I have a friend in Ireland (You, and yes I consider you a friend, I consider anyone I talk to and they talk to me a friend) I thought I'd ask (for educational purposes). |

No I am not offended I mean i pretend to drink on here but like I said I rarely drink I don't even drink the wine on Communion at church I drink the grape juice but believe it or not one Sunday they accidentally switched the two and oh boy was everyone upset including our pastors!

That is so lucky that your friend gets to go to Ireland, I know that one of my Sunday School students moved to Italy last year and is supposed to be there for 3 years so he's getting the chance of a lifetime

I shared an apartment with some guys who weren't 21 and still drank the hard stuff. In fact, the one who drank the most took the money we gave him to pay the power bill and drank it, and we got a warning about the power bill being paid late. Another of the roommates paid the $100 to get the bill put in his name. When I was six I saw the beer commercials and wanted beer. My father said we don't drink beer. We look at it. I wondered why anyone would pay to look at beer. At the time, alcohol sales were not legal where we lived anyway. I have never drunk beer, wine or anything harder. |
