Thank you KyleEl That is an excellent presentation. In the series during an emotional scene, Annalise (Davis' character) exposed herself without pretty hair or make-up, which was rather surprising, but I admired her for it. She has also talked about sensitive subjects in a way that I had not seen on TV.

The season 2 ending was exciting. We learned Annalise's connection to Wes and her history with Frank and Bonnie. I understand now why Frank was almost jubilant when Annalise was being wheeled into surgery after being shot. We also learned more about Annalise's family and what happened to her baby.
Annalise's team has never been a cohesive group and now they have splintered even more. They have broken hearts, manipulated, lied, framed people, withheld evidence, manufactured evidence, blackmailed and murdered people. But they are still together.
All of the questions from the previous season have been answered, but the finale left us with a slew of new mysteries.

"Jeopardy" category": Actors known for one role on TV and another in movies. "The Help" and this show. Contestant response: "Who is Octavia Spencer?" No, she's the one whose TV series DIDN'T succeed. This episode was repeated. I knew for sure I had seen it when I saw this. That saved me some time.

I am watching "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and I blinked when I saw a familiar face. This is a 2007 movie, but I recognized "Wes" immediately. I did not recognize him in HTGAWM, probably because he acted in British movies.

New season has started and we know someone on Annalise's team dies, but they will keep us in suspense about who it is. They said each week we will learn something that lets us know who did not die, but not who will die.
I need to re-watch the finale from last season because I did not realize that Frank is now an enemy and Annalise is terrified of him. We know Frank is capable of murder, but we do not know if Frank killed someone in the house.
All of Annalise's chosen students wound up at the bottom of their class and that was a shock.

I watched the second episode, "There Are Worse Things Than Murder", in which Connor represented a woman at a parole hearing. This was a dramatic episode that included the University trying to suspend Annalise because of the slanderous flyers about her that have been posted around the school. She refused to leave and threatened to sue the university. Connor is broken-hearted because Oliver broke up with him and Connor moved in with Michaela temporarily. Hard-hearted Laurel really did fall for Frank and is agonizing over his absence. Somehow Annalise and Bonnie talked her into leaving a message to lure Frank back to town. I wonder why. I always liked Asher and he has become a stronger character. Wes has a new girlfriend named Meggy. She seems squeaky clean but, of course, I do not trust anyone who comes into Wes' life. Nate has remained a loyal lover to Annalise. It baffles me that he trusts her. She is terrified of Frank and I hope Frank does not kill Nate. Week 2 survivor is... Oliver

"Don't Tell Annalise" 10-13-16
Annalise’s license was suspended because she struck a client. More accurately, because someone snitched that she struck a client. She is drinking too much and making a mess of her life. She has probably destroyed her relationship with Nate because she insulted him. Her lady friend is now interested in someone else so she is no longer available. Her students no longer respect her, but they would not tell her that to her face. Worse of all, she thinks Frank might come back and kill her.
I like Asher but he is often tactless and he bluntly brought up Bonnie’s past relationship with her father. That angered her and she brought up his indiscretion. Then she told him he could get his own ride home from the courthouse. Asher was so nervous when he was first chair in a case that he sweated all the way through the back of his suit jacket. That did not instill confidence.
There was a second person in the house when it burned. We learned the person is pregnant but very ill from smoke inhalation. It looked like Laurel to me.
Frank murdered Bonnie’s father in the medical wing of a jail because he abused her when she was a child. Laurel figured that out and told Bonnie. Bonnie said "Don't tell Annalise."

"It's About Frank"
Episode showed how Frank met Sam and Annalise Keating. They helped him to be paroled. He was unusually vulnerable throughout the episode. After Bonnie viewed her hated father’s remains, she went to Frank. He looked so scared as she approached him, and she wrapped her arms around him and gave him a long hug. They spent the night together and comforted each other. When Bonnie returned to the hotel the next morning with coffee, Frank was gone. She broke down and cried.
Annalise used alcoholism as a defense for slapping a client. She went to an AA meeting and the University President was a member. Annalise kept dreaming about her past and got roaring drunk and was dancing around the house when Wes arrived.
The new member of Annalise’s student team, Simon, threw a fit when he saw his computer was missing. We later learned Michaela brazenly took it to look for something regarding their upcoming exam. Instead, she saw Simon was the one posting the “killer” flyers about Annalise.
Flash forward. At the hospital, we saw Meggy, Connor, Bonnie and Oliver plus Laurel, who is injured. That leaves either Asher, Michaela, or Wes. The victim could be someone who is not an actual member of the team and that would qualify Simon, Nate, Frank or Lauren, which would be farfetched.

The show did not disappoint us by killing someone no one cared about. They kept us guessing until the end of the episode by showing events out of sequence.
I still have questions about Annalise’s intention when she called everyone, except Oliver, to come to the house. Then she left immediately, unless her exit was shown out of sequence. After drinking a fifth/quart of vodka, I think Annalise was capable of calling her students to the house so they would all die.
The D.A.’s office was investigating Annalise for Rebecca’s murder, but, after the house fire, they arrested her with intentions of charging her with arson and murder.
Who committed murder in the house before the explosion?

John Lithgow's "Trial & Error" character admitted this was one pf his favorite shows. Not a good thing to say in his situation. One of these days I will get all the shows I recorded watched and I won't be seeing all these old commercials.

What's Amy's father from "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" doing on this show?
Just kidding. He's not a regular on that show, so he could certainly be in two shows.

Annalise always wanted to present a case to the Supreme Court. That is mind-boggling to me because the Justices are known to be arbitrary. But both Olivia and Annalise are good at what they do and they are very confident.
One Justice was blackmailed by Mellie’s people and another Justice gave information to opposing counsel. Olivia handled the Justice who was being blackmailed and Annalise handled the Justice who cheated by quoting something he said during a trial. Good for both of them.
After Annalise received an upsetting phone call and became distraught, I was not sure if Olivia would be allowed to present the case because she is not practicing law. But Olivia gave Annalise a pep talk that got her back on her feet. I enjoy courtroom cases and watched “Law & Order” for many years. I enjoyed watching Annalise’s presentation even though one Justice was obviously biased against the case.
We did not see how the case was decided, but I guess it is not important to the storyline whether or not they won the case. Their media presence and presenting the case should give both of their careers a much-needed boost.

I did not like Annalise.
I saw Paris from "Gilmore Girls" in the cast. I didn't know she was still on the show. She was in the four-part series that I saw a year ago, and she still looked the same. When I knew to look for her, I decided she might be the girl with short hair. Yes, I recognized her voice and how nervous she always sounds.
No one to like here. No reason to get interested.
I was disappointed Sharon Lawrence was the opposition. She was so nice on "Me Myself & I", which has yet to return if it even will. She was 65, assuming she was the same age as the main character, but she looked so much younger here. Sure, she was pleasant here, but not nice.
I liked how Olivia handled the blackmail. And she came through when Annalise wasn't confident.
That one justice wouldn't put up with any nonsense.
I watched "Matlock" but never got interested in "Law & Order" but a few times.
I recall the real justices, played by actors, were on "Boston Legal". Scalia officiated at the same-sex wedding between Denny Crane and Alan Shore (it was because Denny wanted someone to take care of him as his mind deteriorated)! Those men were anything but gay, and Denny (William Shatner) was as bad as these men who have had their careers ruined--especially to Matty of "MacGyver". Alan is now the star of "Blacklist".

That lady must have had a good make-up artist to make her look 65 on the other show.

I forgot to mention how much I liked Cicely Tyson. I didn't see her movie so I thought she actually was old until Fred Sanford started talking about how hot she was. I did not approve of Annalise's assistant's behavior with Olivia's man.

I did not approve of Annalise's assistant's behavior with Olivia's man. Cicely Tyson is the most sympathetic and likable character on the show. Nate is second (son of the man who was the face for the case). Michaela said she loves Asher and then made out with Marcus. I did not approve either. It was rather shocking to me because Michaela has acted as if her standards are higher than the other interns. I am not watching this season, but they have the same characters, minus the ones they killed off.

In the season finale, Nate is still friends with Annalise and continues to help her. That will probably last for a while because she presented Nate's father's case before the Supreme Court.
Laurel's family killed Wes and Annalise's team is afraid of Laurel's father. After some complicated maneuvering, Laurel's father was arrested for multiple crimes, including murdering the D.A.
Ash will not forgive Michaela for having sex with Marcus.
Laurel is Bonnie's intern at the D.A.'s office. They did not mention Laurel's connection to the man they arrested.
Laurel had the D.A.'s office drop charges against Simon; therefore, there was no need for him to snitch. But Michaela took it a step further and sent an anonymous tip to the INS which should lead to Simon being deported. Annalise is angry about that.
Annalise won the case she presented before the Supreme Court.
