I saw "Tuck Everlasting" over the weekend. Alexis was so cute.
For those who don't know the story, Alexis played a girl who grew up in a rich family and wasn't allowed to do anything fun and was told how her life was going to be. Sounds like Lorelai at the same age.
But she went into the woods and found a boy about her age drinking from a spring. She wanted to but the boy's brother grabbed her and they wouldn't let her find out about the spring. Turned out it was the Fountain of Youth and they were over a hundred years old.
Her parents searched frantically for her and when they found her, she persuaded them not to be so hard on her. Meanwhile, she and her Jess had many romantic scenes.

Scott Patterson  is now a championshio skiier. He made no secret of the fact that he was an aspiring skier during the filming of the GGs.
He can be found off piste most days, in Colorado.

Aye we did, didn't we tanmi ....and if my memory serves me right you were rumoured to be part of his entourage towards the end. .....by the sounds of it, his dwindling career could suggest that he might be happy with some company up on those slopes....

The Chilton headmaster was on "Desperate Housewives" last night. Bree has been violating the seventh commandment (unless you follow Martin Luther's method, which makes it the sixth) and he threatened to take away her position on the church's women's auxiliary. Plus she showed up drunk at their bake sale.

Congratulations to Melissa McCarthy on her Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress for "Bridesmaids".
I finally watched the Golden Globes and you don't want to know what she did in that movie.

I like Vin Diesel in pretty much everything he does. And America Ferrera, best known as "Ugly Betty", was in both "Pants" movies.

I saw Richard in a commercial for "The Good Wife". He was telling someone they had been disbarred.
I forgot about it, but my TiVo doesn't have room for anything else. Maybe when it is repeated. I know Crunchy is on the show but I never really liked him that much.
Also: this Wednesday night at 10 on ABC is a special called "Before They Were Famous" and I saw Melissa, suggesting they'll show her.

Yes, they showed her. The scene from "Gilmore Girls" had Sookie reaching for a lobster and getting pinched.
The scenes from "Bridesmaids", unfortunately, included the famous one.

Alex Borstein, the original Sookie, was the principal in "The Lizzie McGuire Movie".

Something wonderful has happened.
I missed an episode of "Samantha Who?" which was never repeated. Because I was having to delete as many episodes as possible of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and "Futurama" from the list of shows to record so they wouldn't cause other shows to get deleted early, I happened to notice "Samantha" in the listings. I've been watching the listings ever since, mainly because I believe I've seen all the "Futurama" episodes, though there was one I didn't even see last fall when WGN America showed a bunch of newer ones. And the episode is now set to be recorded this week!
I checked online when I realized ABC wasn't going to repeat it. One or both Olsen twins appeared, though it was just a very good show, with Melissa as Samantha's best friend (at least that's what she said when Samantha woke up with amnesia).

As a matter of fact, yes. Paris is a White House intern in a new TV series "Scandal" which owes a lot to Monica Lewinsky.

I have more to report. I'm not enjoying the show all that much but because it is a White House scandal that is the main topic, that's enough to keep me coming back.
Last week after seeing her name in the credits I saw a medical examiner who looked like Paris and didn't think anything more about it.
But I didn't pay close enough attention to the girl the show's star told to stop lying about having an affair with the President. I looked her up after posting here and found out the character's name was Amanda. When I saw what happened "previously" they showed Amanda's picture on a screen. That was her! She had also attempted suicide and was in the hospital. Now she's out and already being harassed by a news reporter. It will only get worse when the truth comes out. The star of the show can help prevent that from happening. But as she asked to be left alone, she had that nervous way of speaking that Paris always had.
The main plot line last night was a Supreme Court nominee who had spent time with a call girl years ago. It turns out that was his wife; no wonder she didn't react when he was told he had een found out.

I can't remember who Lucy was but she is now The Bitch in Apartment 23.
Sookie (a waitress with only a few lines) and Luke's sister (a lesbian mechanic) were both in the movie "Drowning Mona" before the series began. I saw it over the weekend. Very funny.

He had done it before but claimed to be innocent this time. At the end of the episode, the show's star sent the reporter who was harassing Paris to cover THAT story, having gotten him an exclusive interview with the mother. That should shut him down for a while.

Paris is pregnant with the President's baby! Actually, she said something about telling the truth, so maybe it's not his. But she's planning to reveal it to the nation with Diane Sawyer.

Luke was in a movie called "Her Best Move". He was a narrow-minded soccer coach who felt that if his daughter was good enough for the Olympics, she should to devote all her time to soccer, to the exclusion of everything else. Plus he wasn't happy at home so it appeared Luke and the girl's mom were separating. So the girl missed out on a social life, though that started changing during the movie. She also was good enough at dance to get a role in a school production, but between training with her father and romance, she missed her audition.

Paris is dead. I don't mean they think she's dead but she'll be back. I mean really dead. They showed her being pulled from the water and her father identified her.
But her baby is not the president's. DNA proved that.

I just watched Alexis Bledel in The Conspirator. She was awful.
But James Mcavoy was in it. He was awesome.
