Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is a new show coming to the CW in the fall. It is set to air Mondays at 8pm.
It stars Rachel Bloom as a successful, driven, and possibly crazy young woman. She impulsively gives up everything—her partnership at a prestigious law firm and her upscale apartment in Manhattan—in a desperate attempt to find love and happiness in West Covina, California.
Here is the trailer for it:

Sounds like "Felicity". After I saw the pilot of that, I figured I would have liked it if I had given it a chance.
I suspect this will be weirder than that show. I don't know if I'll have the time.

For reasons explained on The Vent Thread, I'm not sure I can watch.
If "Gotham", "Supergirl" and this show are on at the same time but there are no other shows I want to watch, I can.
I wasn't sure at first whether the TiVo I haven't had as long would even record two shows at once. Turns out it will.

Okay, if she's going to sing, forget it.
I have put my new TiVo through a real test and it actually records four shows at once. But the only reason I need to is two Manual recordings on Sunday night. And they don't mean anything. One is for "Jeopardy" the other six days and the other is a precaution to make sure I record what's in that slot regardless.

Probably record one and watch the other on demand.

So far my TiVo is recording nearly all the shows it's supposed to. The real problem is "Jeopardy" but the one that was broken can record that if I lose one on the other.

It was recorded. But it was all I could do to watch Jane last night. And there's no way I can watch this before the weekend.

Okay, I have mixed feelings. I really like this girl. She's intelligent and funny and can be good-looking when she wants to be.
But those musical numbers could be a problem. If they didn't lose all those traditional CW viewers who would have run screaming at that first one, they are quite lucky. Now the music later on was more like what these girls would like. Not me, but at least it wasn't that corny garbage. Why in the world did they think that would attract an audience?
I was quite disappointed Rebecca ended up wearing pajamas that covered everything after she had worn just a t-shirt (as far as we could tell) early in the episode when she was apparently struggling to get out of bed.
The best thing, I thought, was going to be solving the mystery of why someone with her credentials would end up in that place. And then the mystery was solved all too quickly. But she has a friend who will support her and that's good.

I LOVE THIS SHOW!
At first it was kind of boring because Rebecca was with her work friend. But once she met Josh and his hot girlfriend, it was great.
Yoga is good for one thing: putting girls in skimpy outfits. And Josh's girlfriend had the skimpiest one of all. I hate that most girls who do yoga cover up their legs.
Rebecca can be pretty but it doesn't take much effort for her to be homely. I like my CW girls to look hot all the time. Still, she has such a great personality.
I really wanted Rebecca's friendship to work out. It seemed so genuine. But she may have a chance with Josh.
And I like how she can get things done at work. It's the only way she'll ever survive. She can't keep doing inappropriate things at work. Well, she can, for our benefit, but it's not realistic.
On a show where people just start singing. Yeah, I know.

I might have exaggerated about how much I really like the show. It won't always be quite like last week. But she is cute and funny and just generally fun.
It's hard to believe she would have trouble socially. But it was a fun party.
Some of the music on this show, though, is next to unbearable.

I'm not enjoying this show like I did. Rebecca helping Josh get his job, which was only fair, and the other stuff at the end, was great.
Even if it's not my kind of music, the raunchy MTV style video at least seemed the type to appeal to the target audience. But the ancient song and dance routine in black and white? Why?

Forgot one. No, I didn't have time last night. This is last week's.
Not as good as it was, but I enjoyed watching Rebecca struggle to show everyone how good she is. She doesn't get it. But she is entertaining. And she eventually did get it.

Once again, this is not last night's. I didn't have time.
Last week's was good. The music wasn't all that bad. I was beginning to think they had given up on that idea.
Rebecca is really trying. Last time she was faking being good but now I think she really knows how.
She was even going to go to Mass. She's Jewish! Valencia had an attitude which is understandable, but I'm not sure she and Josh are going to stay together.
I liked how Rebecca's co-worker kept in touch.

Yes, I know. There was one last night. Give me time. I'll get to it.
But last week's was great. At least the scenes with Rebecca. The best episode for her yet.

Another great episode. Last week's, obviously. And I won't have time for tonight's until maybe next weekend.
I believe this one was the best one when Rebecca was on screen. Her mom really made this episode work.
Her neighbor, when she was at Greg's mom's place, reminded me of the spoiled girl from "Suburgatory" because of the way she talked. She was great and I liked how that turned out.
And the music! I mean at the end. They finally got it right.

A Golden Globe? Really?
Now that is crazy.
And so is she.

Great music with Rebecca's pole dance. And she's quite talented. That had to be a stunt dancer because it looked so dangerous. And hot.
I feel so sorry for Rebecca but I'm glad regular Josh was so nice about everything. Yes, I really believe her. It wasn't about Josh but about being a place where she is happy.
We know Rebecca has one friend Paula. And she's lucky to have her.
Darryl reminds me of me but he is a friend too. Wow, he has trouble fitting in.

Terrible music last week, but it looks like tonight's music will be good. Not that I'll have time tonight.
Camp was fun. I enjoyed seeing Rebecca miserable. Those girls were so mean, but it turned out they could be nice if they wanted to. It turned out really well.
I do feel sorry for Darryl trying to make friends. He reminds me so much of me.

This episode rocked! Literally!
It's the best music they ever did.
Poor Rebecca is still depressed, but you know what? She's very appealing when she is.
And her best friend from work is finally getting her marriage problems solved.
I only wish he hadn't used that suspicious rock.

Uh-oh. Forgot one. I'll see it this weekend and comment Monday. Apparently I've missed one. Certain details are not familiar. I didn't think Rebecca's boss would be bi and White Josh would be gay. I'm so happy to see Rebecca and Regular Josh together. I wish Rebecca had won her case but I admire her integrity, and there are grounds for an appeal. Seeing her fight her childhood nemesis was fun. Rap is not music. I still enjoyed seeing Rebecca do it.

I never thought Huey Lewis might be gay or even bi, but after watching Darryl do a musical number which reminded me of him, I'm starting to wonder.
I knew Rebecca wasn't making the money she did in New York but how could she possibly think she had enough left over to spend like she used to?
I'm glad the news that could have won Rebecca's case is finally in the news.
Paula is such a great friend.
Meanwhile, Heather has this "Who cares?" attitude about everything that makes her really appealing, but how is she going to keep her job?
I feel so sorry for Rebecca now that Josh had to go through with proposing to Valencia.

I finally saw the Greatest Animal Commercials special. The commercials were, as is usually the case, in these specials, great. One of the hosts was the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and even on the special, she just seemed disturbed. I don't know whether she was staying in character or whether she isn't quite right in the head.

And once again ...
Maybe I'll have time this weekend. Assuming I didn't do something dumb and lose the entire episode.

Okay, I saw it. I really feel bad for Rebecca. She thought her father cared and it was her father who wanted to be rid of her.
But look how much people care about her now. And at her old firm, they're as mean as they were when they opposed her in the water case.
And only one song this week.
I'm confused about her singing talent. If she was thinking of an entertainment career, shouldn't she at least sing as well as she does in the fantasies?
