I do not know what created that scenario for Dean, but I hope it is not overly dramatic. I have a low anxiety level and I do not him to get stuck there like he was stuck in Purgatory.
I saw Crowley in chains.

The episode was exciting for me. The artifact was extremely powerful and might have actually wounded Amara, but we will never know. Delphine was brave. The mark she wore on her chest must have made her invulnerable and Dean could not make himself stab her. The ordeal on the ship seemed to have a profound effect on Dean’s consciousness.
Lucifer is really cruel and now he has a spell that allows him to bypass warding. Those demons who were criticizing Crowley will learn that he is a better master than Lucifer will be. They were no longer being tortured every day.
There was a time that I understood everything about Castiel’s circumstances, but they have jerked him around continuously and now I am confused. He got his grace back, but he has no wings and cannot teleport. So that is why he drives everywhere now. That sucks!
Anyway, I enjoyed the episode and it held my attention.

This was the show's third or forth time back to WWII. What's with that?
That being said, I really liked Delphine's character. She was strong, determined and selfless. Too bad she had to use up the HOG in order to save Dean. And the sailors on the ship were really brave. None of them cried about their mission being to get Delphine safely back to the U.S.
Did you notice that Delphine told Dean that the HOG wasn't whole? Maybe we'll find out later in the season there are more pieces and that will help to finally defeat Amara.
Best part was Sam and Castifer. Luci just couldn't keep up the charade. Was glad to seethat Castiel could break through to save Sam.
I'm ambivalent about the scenes in Hell with Crowley. While I liked the Castifer/Crowley interaction, I thought the rest, especially with the demons and the throne were silly. I hope they burn that set.
Dean looked really down about Cas. I hope he and Sam can get it together again.

I liked most of this one, I liked certain parts a lot and others were kind of boring for me.
I found most of the submarine scenes to be slow, at least for me. The only scene in the sub that I liked was the last one, where Delphine sacrificed herself to help out Dean, the MOL and to keep the HOG out of the Nazi's hands. However it was interesting to see how Dean reacted to just being a "witness" to that act, and the reactions of certain crew members, it was like it struck him really hard how they were ok dying to save him and humanity.
At the end I wasn't sure if it was the loss of "Cas" or the crew that had him so upset, maybe a little of both?
The scenes were Crowley were a little hard to watch, it is hard to watch Crowley who has almost always outmaneuvered everyone be treated like that, although Mark's acting was superb, and you could see him plotting how to get away for Lucifer. I will be interested in how he gets away from Lucifer, thought it seems odd as to why Crowley is still alive, Lucifer has always just killed those he had no use for. He thinks little of demons and kills without a second thought, unless he was so bored in Hell, he is looking for fun in torturing.
I really liked the Sam and Casifer parts, I love how Sam is back to being the smart man we all know he can be, he knew the only way to get rid of Casifer was the angel sigil. Before he knew Lucifer was Cas, he was trying to keep Cas safe by not letting him do the archangel spell. I am wondering what he is feeling at the end of the episode, he seems very subdued and resigned at to what he will have to do since Dean can't kill the Darkness.
I love that Cas took back control from Lucifer and saved Sam from dying, and I think Misha is doing a great job with his Lucifer interpretations. I thought he was a little over the top in the first time he did it, but he has gotten it down now and does a great job, going back and forth between characters has to be difficult to do in the same scene. I read a bit of an interview where Misha said he didn't know if he could do it justice since Mark P. had made the role his own, but that he looked at the Lucifer scenes and spent some time with Mark and he had a better handle on it now.
I am curious now to see where we go from here, and if the guys will angel proof the bunker, otherwise they have no where to go, and I hate the idea of them not having a home.
