GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's the season 6 finale! Whose last day on earth is it? Negan is pointing "Lucille" at someone. Who is it? Can we bear to watch? Which of our beloved characters will we have to bid good-bye to?
BTW....does it bother anyone else that we only get 16 episodes?

Yes, 16 is an odd number and there is enough drama to keep it going. Perhaps they think "Fear the Walking Dead" makes up for it.
I do not really like cliffhangers. I would rather know who is going to die so that we can grieve over the summer.
It looks as if Morgan will cross paths with the man who took Carol's cross. Will Morgan kill him?

On Twitter, regarding tonight's episode, Bear McCreary said "Prepare yourselves for a terrifying new theme..."
I have always enjoyed hearing people whistle, but tonight's episode might change that.

I watched it but I cannot say I enjoyed the whole episode because it was stressful and depressing. But there were some things I liked.
Morgan found Carol and, imo, redeemed himself.
Even though I feel sad for Carol because of her state of mind, she gave an awesome performance.
Father Gabriel looked strong and determined while standing guard over Alexandria.
Eugene had an awesome moment when he volunteered to drive the vehicle and mislead Negan's people.
Both Carl and Abraham looked very defiant when Negan was trying to scare them.
Rick did a terrific job of non-stop shaking and looking as if he was going to zap out.
I like Spencer and wish he had stayed home, but he did not break down under pressure.
Negan was awesome, but brutal.

The people in charge of hype for this show are good at misdirection. I did not think this episode was as heartbreaking as they led on. Yes, someone died, but things are not as bleak for our group as it appears. The Saviors have lots of numbers, but all it will take is one large herd to thin them out.
No appearance of Tara or Heath. Perhaps they will meet up with Carol and Morgan at The Kingdom.

The only part I really enjoyed was Morgan helping Carol. And telling her it's not her time yet And of course JDM's performance. I just hate that they left us hanging like that. But according to twitter and some VERY clever fans who have screen shot evidence , the person who was killed was Abraham
Which makes the most sense to me. We've hardly seen Daryl and Glenn lately, and in this episode Abraham was acting weird yet again and talking about starting a family with Sasha. Yeah right buddy. Oh and his final hug with Eugene. And that's all on top of the fan evidence The people in charge of hype for this show are good at misdirection. I think the actress who plays Tara was having her baby that's why we haven't seen her in a while.

The cast members were reported to be in tears after the final scene, but we now know the cast members do not even know who Negan killed. They were probably in tears because they were on their knees for 9 hours while they shot and re-shot the final scene a thousand times. Negan's strategy of blocking the road, letting them drive away, and then doing that over and over again was not only a display of manpower and strength, it also served to tire Rick and the group out mentally and spiritually. It was sad to see Rick's group humbled that way after their earlier display of confidence. We know Lucille killed one person, but I wonder if someone else might also die. Daryl and Carol are shot and did not get immediate medical attention. Maggie is a lot sicker than I thought.

It took me a while to build up the courage to watch this episode. What a heart wringer it was. Rick has become so stupidly arrogant. He believes his few victories over a minor faction, the wolves, a major walker invasion and the winning over the Hilltop to his wishes has made him and the Alexandrians omnipotent. O, pride goeth before the fall. What's going on with Maggie's pregnancy? At first I thought maybe an ectopic pregnancy, but she had an ultrasound at the Hilltop. That would have shown up then. Daryl takes off after Dwight. Glenn, Sasha and Michonne take off after Daryl. Almost everyone else goes on the trip with Maggie to the Hilltop doctor, leaving Alexandria in Fr. Gabriel's control. While he's done well lately, I'm not sure the small group left with him could fend off a determined attack. Daryl, Glenn, Sasha and Michonne are taken prisoner. Daryl is shot. The RV, filled almost to capacity, takes off for Hilltop. Then starts the downfall. Each time they were stopped, the group facing them got bigger. And when they finally ditched the RV, with good old Euegene offering to be the bait, that run through the woods turned even worse. Anti, that whistling was indeed hauting. And when that light blasted them, and the whistling reached that crescendo, I thought I would wet my pants. JDM as Negan was terrifyingly good. He had Rick looking like I have never seen him. Carl seemed to hold himself well, as did Abraham. But the rest looked like they knew they were all facing their deaths. "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe......." He even made a childhood nursery rhyme horrifying. And when he threatened Carl, I about lost it. Who did Negan kill? It's going to be a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong hot summer until TWD returns and the story changes forever.

This is the only show I watch where I actually want spoilers. After the first season when I would be stressed out during the episodes, I realized I would be better off knowing ahead of time who was going to die. I knew ahead of time we would not see who Negan killed so I was not disappointed at the end of the episode. I have viewed fan reactions and people are really angry at that cliffhanger so it seems that they were caught off-guard.
Fans are also frustrated (as was I) by the amount of time devoted to Abraham driving the truck. When they re-air the series during the summer, they should show the first barricade in real time. Then they should show Abraham driving at 3X speed to the other barricades.

That really is disturbing. I do not think I will be able to watch the video and audio together. It would be too horrible. On Sunday, I could hear squelchy sounds and had to cover my ears.

ratings was not high for episode ... Fan ratings were probably the lowest ever for this show but the demo was good and there were more than 13 million viewers. I know there is a petition to boycott the S7 premiere as punishment for making us wait to see who was killed, and I am going to look at those numbers in October. Rotten Tomatoes gave the finale a 45% rating. Its average rating for TWD has always been in the 90 percentile, but that 45% rating will affect the average for the season.
