What are chitters? I guess we'll find out in this episode.

I might need to hold my security blanket when that thing jumps Dean.

I am beginning to think the cast and crew need extra time off to appear at conventions. They go on breaks while the other CW shows are still playing.

I don't know if the cast and crew have any control over that, I think it is more the CW network trying to make show last as long as possible.

I enjoyed the episode and I am glad I did not have to see those parasites enter a human. That sort of stuff makes me nauseous. It seems that Dean is less than enthusiastic about hunting right now because he is concerned about the Darkness harming Cas. I understand that because when I know something bad is looming, I cannot really focus on something else either.
I think they were too harsh with the sheriff who killed his infected daughter and thought he had destroyed the creatures. After all, he was not a hunter and most hunters would not have known what to do to end the 27-year cycle.
I like Sheriff Tyson (Candice McClure), but we probably will not see her again. I don’t trust Supernatural when it comes to hunters so I really expected one of the husbands to d-i-e, but they retired instead. The conversation between Dean and Sam about the husbands being able to move on after getting their revenge and get out of the life made me think that it was prophetic in some way. Is one of them thinking about moving on?

I thought it was an okay MOTW episode. I found the sub-story about the gay hunters UN-natural and unnecessary. I have not idea how why the writers again felt it vital to the story to belabor the gay story-line yet again. Anti, I too liked the sheriff. I remember that actress from Battlestar Galactica. Interesting monster. I wonder if the only place they show up is in that specific spot in Colorado. I seem to remember hearing one of the "guest" hunters say they were usually found in another country. I forget how he said they ended up in Colorado. I think the writers are having Dean obsessing too much over Castiel. It's getting old. I liked the banter between the brothers at the beginning and end of the episode. Looks like the last 5 episodes will concentrate more on Amara and her story line.

I thought it was an okay MOTW episode. Me too I must admit I rolled my eyes, but I did enjoy Dean's reaction. Me too. And I think she handled the situation as well as could be expected. She would not want people to think she was either foolish or crazy. They said they usually hunted in Mexico, but the Bisaan were from Malaysia. When Dean asked what they were doing in Colorado, one of the "guest" hunters said they were breeding. Of course, Dean meant how did they get from Malaysia to Colorado, but perhaps the real answer wound up on the editing room floor. When the lady said the chitters would get so wound up that their eyes turned emerald, she gave Sam a lustful look that made him squirm in his seat. Both Dean and I were amused by that. I understand, but if Dean and Sam did not agonize over Cas every week, I think the Cas fans would have a hissy fit. So they dedicate 60 seconds each episode to appease the fans. Me too. Has she changed her outfit yet? It looks like they are bringing one of our favorites back...finally!

I thought the episode was ok, I almost fell asleep watching it, maybe I was too tired? I did watch it a second time but still felt it was just ok, kind of slow.
I thought the chitters were kind of gross. It does seem as if we hear more hints about the guys stopping, or doing something else, maybe Sam and Dean are starting to think past being hunters, or the end of this season will open a possibility of them being separated? just throwing it out there.
Maybe the show is trying to start a long build up till the end of she series, I don't see them going past another 1, maybe 2 seasons.
I would love to see Amara get a more appropriate dress. and I am kind of hoping she is gone at the end of this season, she has been a stereotypical bad guy, I don't see where she is different from any other big bads.

I thought the episode was ok, I almost fell asleep watching it, maybe I was too tired? I did watch it a second time but still felt it was just ok, kind of slow. It did not scare me at all and I multi-tasked while it was on, which is something I never do. Definitely. Parasites are gross and if they used that sexual content to get an "iffy for 16+" rating, they need to do better than that. They certainly have been loyal to their fans, but I would watch them in another series. I still enjoy the show, but I do not get as excited as I did in the past. I wonder if Lisa is still single? And Sam can go and find another dog lover. But she is GOD'S SISTER! I guess just by being that, we are supposed to herald her as the most powerful and awesome baddie we have ever encountered. I do give them props for coming up with something original, and I hope we see some awesome special effects in the episodes. I am not in a serious frame of mind which is probably why I am amused by the God's sister baddie concept.
