I enjoyed Supergirl and was amused that she was bored because there was nothing for her to do. When she tried baking, she removed the hot pans from the oven with her bare hands. That is a nice quality to have.
Kara’s friend, Lena, has the worst luck. The man she was in love with came to town to demonstrate his Nano technology and wanted to rekindle their relationship. Unfortunately, the Nanos were killing people and Kara had the unpleasant responsibility to tell Lena. Lena is a really good fighter and beat up the woman who was controlling the Nanos. When Lena had to make a choice between saving Supergirl or her friend, she made the heartbreaking decision to save Supergirl.
Winn’s girlfriend needed a lesson in how to be a hero. She was beating up the kid who stole something. I like the way James resolved the issue.
Kara humbly and graciously apologized to her boss at Catco and gave him the information she had gathered about the Nano technology company. He put her name on the by-line for the article and let her come back to work. I like that.

I didn't notice Kara didn't need anything to protect her hands. I just noticed she kept messing up.
I've heard that term nanobots before. The Allstate Man developed a Superman in an earlier TV series. I saw the Allstate Man's Superman on "Nashville" when his ex Rayna died and he had to be let out of prison to spend time with the family. He wanted custody of his daughters. On the other show, nanobots were just a dream, but what they did was destroy the printed word. At the end of the dream, all knowledge was stored in computers. Books were gone. They only had blank pages.
I fast-forwarded through a commercial break on "The Flash", and when I backed up because I often go too far I saw the man who came up with nanobots on this show. It seems he is also on "iZombie".
I'm glad things worked out with Winn's girlfriend.
Most of all, I was so happy to see Snapper's reaction when Kara came back. It appeared he would rehire her, and later in the episode that's exactly what happened. She did need to promise she would be ethical, and she has. And what she did was not to say something that wasn't true, or publish "fake news". She just published something that Snapper didn't want to.
On the other hand, on the episode of "The Middle" I watched last night, someone said, "Journalism is dead! Start a blog!"

hope maggie and Supergirl can along with each other they will. I saw some video clips and it looks like Maggie will resent Supergirl because she takes charge. I think "sister" trumps "girlfriend" because girlfriends come and go. |

It was someone they knew in high school. He saw little Kara do something extraordinary and later realized she was Supergirl. I do sympathize with Maggie being frustrated when she is working and Supergirl swoops in without talking to her first. I would not be surprised if a lot of officers resent Supergirl.
It was a tense situation and Alex would have drowned within a minute or two. The guy did not fall for the Martian impersonation of his father.
I did not realize, at first, that was Mon-El's mother when she met with Lena. She has fooled Lena and trouble is brewing for next week.

We shall see, but I think she is being tricked. Her mother tricked her and now Mon-El's mother is tricking her. Mon-El's mother said the technology would open a portal so she could go home. It obviously did something more drastic than that.

I didn't recognize Lena with her different hair.
I don't blame Maggie for being upset, but Supergirl thinks everyone needs her help and that they can't do things without her.
That was scary what almost happened to Alex. But we know they'll never kill her. Probably. She might make outrageous salary demands.

I enjoyed the episode and it was exciting. Cat was excellent, as usual. She had some great lines which made me laugh.
I was glad that James was able to pitch in to help and it was funny that Cat recognized him even though he was wearing the helmet.
It was a close call to see if Mon-El and Lena would get hitched, but I do not know if it would be legal in America anyway.
It seems that the choices that Supergirl and Alex made gave the Daxams enough time to destroy the weapon that could have eliminated the mother ship.
I do not like Superman being brainwashed or mind-controlled, but the finale will be full of action.

We finally had the "Desperate Housewives" reunion I've been waiting for. Sort of. I thought surely Lillian and Rhea would appear together, but they didn't. Lillian and James were in a scene together, which never happened on the other show. Though Lillian's voice was probably used in at least one scene James was in.
I never realized how much I missed Cat. I was so glad to see her.
I couldn't believe Cat recognized James but she did suspect Kara was Supergirl, and only when presented with "evidence" did she change her mind.
Interesting that Taylor Swift was mentioned, because that's where Supergirl got her hairstyle. Or at least that's my theory.
Supergirl messed up because Alex didn't get to act in time. I forget whether Supergirl and Rhead got out in time, but we know Supergirl has to survive.
