"Y'know, she really, kinda looks like my cousin" - Ray Palmer - Yeah, I got that. I'm not really a fan of that kind of action but I felt a kind of satisfaction after it was over. But I could never watch this show again. I absolutely, positively can't stand Mick. I liked how Cisco and Felicity were excited about time travel and Felicity's side effects were funny.

I'm 50/50 on this show. I do like these alternate versions of the characters that I grew up with, but the time travel angle gets old fast. I cannot imagine that it will sustain it past a third season.
Hopefully, it will change into more of a JLA series. The CW certainly seems to be headed in that direction.

I have always detested time travel themes, but after a few episodes, I fell in love with this show. I am impressed with how they were able to take some cold-blooded killers and make them likeable. Also, they treat the women as equals. That is one of the reasons it was especially funny when Mick referred to Supergirl as "Skirt". Sara is his captain on Legends and she would kick his butt. I think it will become more of a JLA series, but when that will happen seems to be a secret.

I am glad the reason for Rip's absence is schedule conflicts instead of personal issues with the show. I learned to love him too.

Legends of Tomorrow raked in 3.33 million total viewers last night, an all-time high for the series. It also scored a rating of 1.1 which puts the episode just shy of Legends of Tomorrow’s highest demo rating. The series premiered with a 1.2 rating when its pilot debuted.

I am happy their ratings were so good and hope people will tune in often. It is also a good sign that we will see more crossovers.

I forgot about Stein when I was commenting, but then I saw the general thread about the crossover.
I like Stein but he can't make up for the others. I did like watching Stein and the daughter he never knew.

2.08 The Chicago Way 12-8-16
A new time aberration leads the Legends to 1927 Chicago, where they realize they've been set up by Eobard Thawne, Damien Darhk and Malcolm Merlyn; when Stein is taken captive, Sara must choose whether to save him or try to stop the Legion of Doom.

It is just starting here because the CW aired the State football championship game. Then I want to watch Supernatural after this goes off at 11 PM.

The team was not ready for the tricks the Legion of Doom played on them. Thawne was able to change his image very quickly. That was unexpected.
Mick was hilarious when he made insulting comments about Nate and Atom being idiots and one of them responded “You know we are standing right here.” Then he was sad when he talked with his BFF. He really misses Snark, his one true friend.
Sara does have a heart. I was surprised she gave the medallion to Thawne to save Stein.
I hoped we would see Rip again, but why in the world is he directing a movie, and what happened to his accent?

I enjoyed the episode a lot and seeing Elliot Ness and Al Capone was fun, especially since "The Untouchables" is one of my all-time favorite movies. I like the fashions of the 1920's and Sara looked very pretty with her hair styled that way.
Sara looked really good fighting against Malcolm Merlyn, but The Legion of Doom are some bad boys. In spite of that, they added some humor to the episode when they were discussing the amulet. Malcolm said it was a portable planetarium. I do not think I will ever like Thawne.
