NCIS New Orleans is a favorite because it does an excellent job of combining drama with New Orleans style entertainment. It focuses on the strong bond of the NCIS team and the members of the community where everybody knows everybody. Pride, the leader of the team, owns a nightclub and after a hard case or devastating loss, the members will gather there to nurse their wounds.
I like all of the team members but LaSalle is my 2nd favorite because of his Southern charm. Pride is my favorite because he is a strong leader who is able to have a personal relationship with the team without crossing the line. I wish Jimmy Palmer on NCIS was more like Sebastian on this show. Sebastian is sometimes offbeat, but never stupid.

Uh oh. The promos for next Tuesday show Sebastian being held hostage. I do not know why he was taken, but I hope the team will rescue him.

Sebastian was indeed kidnapped. The kidnappers wanted his help in breaking a murderous criminal out of prison. I thought it would be nerve-wracking. Instead, it showed a very different side to Sebastian’s personality. On the same night that we saw McGee be a bad-a**, Sebastian demonstrated nerves of steel. It was an exciting and excellent episode.

I haven't watched the spin-offs yet but I do own them on DVD, perhaps one day I'll watch them.

NCIS Los Angelos gets involved in a lot of undercover and foreign country missions. I consider some of their cases high anxiety.

Actually no, my mom decided to complete our NCIS library so we bought them all.
It's ironic at least two ladies at church watch the spin-offs and prefer those over the regular one. One actually thinks LL Cool J is cute.

This was a sad episode. Once again, men in power used their power to abuse boys and their powerful friends helped them to cover it up. Pride and his team did an excellent job of investigating and helped to protect the lives of other young men.

"Outlaws" was an exciting episode. After a member of a motor cycle crew was murdered, Pride's team investigated because the crew is made up of veterans. It appeared that a ten-year old feud had started up again when the veteran crew returned to New Orleans. It was not that simple. The opposing crew's club house was bombed with five members inside and two of them died.
Percy had been close to a man who repaired bikes for the crews while she worked undercover for the ATF. She rekindled the relationship to get information about the killings, and what could go wrong...did.
Switching channels, a woman LaSalle met a couple of years ago told him he is the father of her son. He is taking this very seriously and wants to do the "right" thing. I think the right thing to do is to take a paternity test.

I am sad to learn "Director Granger" on NCIS:LA passed away.
"Miguel Ferrer, star of NCIS: Los Angeles and Twin Peaks, has died at the age of 61, Deadline reports.
The prolific film and television actor played Owen Granger on NCIS: Los Angeles and reprised the role of the cantankerous FBI Agent Albert Rosenfeld for Showtime’s upcoming Twin Peaks revival.

This was fun to watch even though Torres got in trouble twice.
In the shows I watch, most of the time when people are trying to avenge a wrong, they cause as much harm as the person they hate.
McGee was treated as a probie for a long time and it is nice to see Sebastian idolize him.

I was very impressed with the crossover episodes, it's hard to believe that they've been doing New Orleans crossovers off and on since Season 11 of NCIS. There really hasn't been an official one for Los Angeles though.

I have not heard a reason for no crossover with Los Angeles. They do not work the same way as NCIS and New Orleans. They act more like a counter terrorism unit.

I suspect that it's because of the tension between Mark Harmon and Donald Bellisario, that's partly how Mark became an executive producer on NCIS.

On Sunday, March 5th, the NCIS: Los Angeles TV show on CBS will pay tribute to its late star, Miguel Ferrer, who died of throat cancer on January 19, 2017. The son of Rosemary Clooney and Jose Ferrer, Miguel was also a cousin of actor George Clooney.
I really like him and it is sad that he is gone.

NCIS: New Orleans 4.01 Rogue Nation –
Pride was still on administrative leave until he agreed to sign a statement that he would obey orders and stop bending the rules. He came back to help his team stop a local group from detonating a dirty bomb.
It was an exciting episode and I enjoyed it. I am happy that they are playing music in the bar again.

As long as the team stays on American soil, I love the episodes. When they go to war zones, its not entertaining to me. This one should be okay.
