Wait, I'm confused. There are shows coming back only for one episode?

Ty for posting this. I'm not surprised about Frequency and No Tomorrow. Their ratings were pretty low. As for Riverdale, i wasn't going to tune in until i saw this: "The series comes from comic book writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and executive producer Greg Berlanti." Greg Berlanti. Yah. So IZombie will have a 2 part premiere? I guess that's fitting considering their season finale was 2 parts as well.

Frequency hope it does not get canned. From Anti's first post: What does the future look like for Frequency and No Tomorrow? Deadline reports The CW has decided not to order more episodes of the freshman TV series. Sorry, but it's gone.

I never thought "Frequency" could work in the long term. There is only so much you can do with that storyline.

But the way it looks, each series will return on the date of the season finale. That's one episode. So why is "Jane the Virgin" not mentioned? I know it's going away but when exactly?

I can't find a definite date on Jane. One site states 12/19 as the return date (IMDB) and another says 1/25. From what i can tell it hasn't been cancelled but as far as i know, it hasn't been renewed either.

That is why I posted current info and we can add additional info as it becomes available. I feel like Kyle is pulling a Jeff on this topic.

Are the shows that say "season finale" having their season finale on the day they come back, or is there a different date for the show coming back and the show having its season finale?
