Wow, the way things were going for the humans, I wondered how they were going to survive 13 more episodes this season. It took a lot of persuasion and teamwork, but we will see them next week.  Flint is young and inexperienced in warfare; therefore, he wanted to rush in and attack Kasius. Mack and Yo-Yo kept urging caution and to make a plan. Mack and Yo-Yo make a very clever team and formed a plan to use Kasius bombs to derail his plan to annihilate the humans. Kasius was furious but he was certain that Sinara would bring the Destroyer to him. The S.H.I.E.L.D. agents already had 999 problems on the ship and then Sinara sneaked aboard. I thought May would be the one to fight her, but Daisy was up to the challenge. I remember when Daisy was a feisty computer whiz. Sinara is a tough warrior so I was very impressed by the blows Daisy landed. Deke did what he could to help and that gave Daisy time to recover and impale Sinara. Daisy does not like being called "Quake". Mack called her "Tremors". While that fight to the death was taking place, the rest of the team was holding on for dear life because the ship was trying to break free of the earth without use of thrusters. That took a long time and they were being shaken to death. It was a relief when the ship was finally free. But there is no time for a celebration because Kasius is sending a squadron to meet them when they arrive to rescue the people. |

Kasius said he also has a seer. His seer was a well-kept secret. If they somehow snatched young Robin through time and she wound up under Kasius' control, that would be a shock. Time travel is complicated to understand so they probably will not do that.
I think it is someone we have seen, but would not expect to see as Kasius' seer.

Past Life - Some episode details are in this post
S.H.I.E.L.D. made progress on their quest to return home. There were some surprises along the way, like Yo-Yo being the “seer” for Kasius. There were some weird scenes where we saw how Kasius had mutilated her. Mack was shocked and distraught when he saw the mutilated Yo-Yo being killed right in front of him.
Kasius mourned his warrior woman and could not function well without her counsel. I was surprised Kasius took the drug that would take away his pain because it would also kill him. His idea of honor was strange.
Some allies were lost along the way and they will be missed. They ended it on a cliffhanger, but for some reason, the promo for the next episode showed us who made it back. So, it is not really a cliffhanger.
Returns in a month.

It was great they made it home safely, but it is so hard for them to know who to trust. I do not understand how Deke made it, but he was so happy to see Earth the way it should be. He was thrilled to have real food and hug a tree.
Yo-Yo did not escape her fate after all and that is a shame.

What did you think of the shocking reveal at the end of the episode? I was stunned, but I love it!
I was also surprised that Ghost Rider used some of Coulson's life force.
Daisy did not cause the rift that split the earth.
Everyone was heartbroken that Coulson is dying, but they were also mad at him for not telling them.
It was surprising when the Kree and other creatures started showing up, but Fitz figured out what caused it.
That was an exciting episode.

Yes, it was a good episode. I did not guess why Mack was fighting those cyborgs/robots instead of rushing off of the ship. He brought one back so they can use the parts for Yo-Yo. That is true love.
Deke caught on that Fitz-Simmons are his parents.

It was a good episode, and they surprised me again. When I saw Doc Fitz attack Deke and operate on Daisy, I was not sure if that was good or bad. I was convinced Fitz was really talking to someone else. That was well done.
I liked the way Deke explained their relationship to Jemma and his explanation should give her hope.
I am wondering if Agent May and Coulson will be able to mend their previously strong bond after Coulson keeps making decisions that do not include her.

A lot happened in the episode, but I was able to understand most of it. The Colonel or General has lost his mind from being tortured, but he makes me laugh because he is so different from the way he was before.
I love Coulson's mellow voice and his calm demeanor when people are trying their best to kill him. But he is smart and uses good strategies to escape. I hope he and the Colonel find shelter quickly. They might be in the area that was in the picture Robin drew.
Mac is probably going to stay upset at Yo-Yo and Simmons because of the trick they played on him.
