I was wondering why, when George Sr. said George Jr. should pay for the cable, he didn't mention George Jr. having a job.
I liked how the kids were shown at the end. I also noticed there were two actresses credited as Howard's mother. The original actress must have been the one saying "Howard!" since they had a recording of that. I was surprised they were so specific about the kids' ages.
I really wish Dr. Sturgis hadn't had mental problems. I wish he had just been obsessed with whatever he was doing.
Sheldon's attempts to have others over for the announcement of the Nobel Prizes turned out like I expected but I was pleased his mother was there.
The argument that you can read about the Super Bowl is different in that there's not that much to watch (or listen to) when the announcements are made. But seeing does make a big difference with a game.
I'm confused as to why Sheldon called himself "class president", I thought it was student body president.
"Boobies" aren't so unusual. Many movies shown in theaters by that time had them. It was only when they made it to TV that they couldn't be shown, but cable channels don't have restrictions.
Dr. Linkletter is a bum living in the couple's barn on "Bless This Mess".
I wondered whether someone who didn't watch "Big Bang Theory" would understand the ending.

^^^ It didn't take me long to pick up on what was being shown for the episode's ending and I have only watched maybe one episode of The Big Bang Theory all the way through and it was the episode when Sheldon goes to visit George Jr. I guess just before his wedding to Amy took place.
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. So its really true that Dr. Sturgis has a mental issue? If so, I hate that. I wasn't about to go flying with what MeMaw learned considering who she got the word from. The man she was on the phone with has already let it be known that he doesn't care that she is seeing someone else and so what would stop him from lying about Dr. Sturgis just to score a date with her?

Dr. Sturgis was Homer Simpson's hernia in an episode of "The Simpsons" I saw last night. His medication caused hallucinations.

I knew I had seen Saturday's episode of "Jeopardy" when Iain was on. Or at least I thought I did. It was enough of a reason not to watch. It was tempting but … well, with a DVR I could always watch just his answers.
I think I saw all of his appearances. I checked here because my newest TiVo says when the episode first aired but I didn't see a post from around that date.

Is Professor Proton on this show?
Ben Stiller talked about the legends on The Emmys while walking in front of statues. He wondered what Bob Newhart would say about today's TV. Bob wasn't a statue and he got mad and said he's still here.

The season three opener was so good tonight! Even though I hate when Sheldon questions the Lord's existence, I get why he went in that direction. His mother couldn't be anymore in sheer and severe need of a chill pill!
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. I love Georgie and I hope that Dr. Stirgis. eventually finds out about what Dr. Link Letter said to MeMaw in the season two closer.

George Jr. is so smart! I thought he was a moron but I'm not worried about him now.
This show is like "Speechless" because the whole family makes a contribution.
I hope Dr. Sturgis will be okay.
I'm glad Sheldon learned the truth. It was so funny with both of them thinking the other was crazy.

After seeing tonight's show, my question is how much longer does Sheldon remain in high school before becoming a full time college student? Him and Georgie are both in their junior year of high school now.
God bless you always!!!

That was a hilarious episode.
Sheldon should at least try to go to class instead of hiding in the closet like that.
The professor was so frustrated by Sheldon's questions. He's also living in a barn on 'Bless This Mess".
It bothers me that the pastor is tempted but I'm glad he has Mary to help.
Poor Missy. Don't Baptist kids understand there is forgiveness?

Evan was given "the talk" on "Fresh Off the Boat". Did Sheldon also have that?
Meemaw was the teacher in the TV series "Dangerous Minds". Lainey in "Schooled" compared herself to Michelle Pfeiffer in the movie.

I like the way they added the other family members to the introductory scene. That is nice. And I am enjoying the season.
Georgie makes me laugh more than anyone else and he is adorable.
I am beginning to see the adult Sheldon characteristics in young Sheldon, like in the way he thought the professor might need his help to understand the lesson.
I noticed the Pastor's secretary was not hacking and coughing in the episode.
I do not personally know any people who think sex outside of marriage is a mortal sin. I was entertained by the Pastor's dilemma and Mary's reaction to it.
Missy is so bad most of the time, I did not know she took church teachings so seriously.

This episode was one of the best they ever did. The writers and Iain are brilliant.
I never thought Meemaw would turn on him like that but he had it coming.
I was going to say they didn't give Missy enough to do but they made up for that.
There is a web site for Chuck Lorre which I'll have to remember to look at because what he does at the end was too small to read.

Sheldon was wearing a Star Trek uniform during the intro because he is a Spock fan. That was cute.
Wow! Sheldon was grounded for a month and Missy enjoyed him getting in trouble. I bet he will be careful how he talks to Memaw.
Georgie was a pleasure to watch. It was so cute and funny the way his imagination took off when the girl said she was impressed. The candy necklace was a good idea.

^^^ Of course Missy loves it when Sheldon gets in trouble...until he starts crying about it. Then we finally see whatever heart she actually has.
I don't blame Sheldon for calling MeMaw and his parent out on their selfishness. If they want him to put other people before himself, what do you think needs to be coming from their end of the situation...the right example is the only thing that comes to my mind. One of them could've taken him to where he wanted to go, but then they could've said that doing what he wanted out of them then would be the last thing that he would get out of them if the right kind of change in his attitude did not take place.
God bless you always!!!

Tonight's show was good. I loved watching Sheldon bowl. God bless you always!!! Holly P.S. When George. Jr. told his teacher to be happy that she didn't have to live with Sheldon, I thought to myself, "Georgie, you may live with the boy, but do keep in mind that you do have a room of your own to come home to. Why Missy isn't the one to have her own room with her being the only girl is the mystery in my opinion.

I liked seeing Sheldon as The Flash in the intro and then he "flashed" away. So cute! The bowling ball scene was very funny. So was Sheldon's dream about hobbits; he was "Precious" Sheldon. I did not feel sorry for Missy when she was crying, and she was typical Missy in the final scene. I did enjoy seeing her spend time with George.

I liked seeing Missy with George but I did feel bad for her. That's normal for girls that age.
I thought they lived in Astros territory. I get that Nolan Ryan would be more interesting, but aren't the Rangers in a different part of the state?
The dream proves Iain has superior acting skills, though we knew that just from his playing the one role.

Last night's show was really good. What Dr. Sturgis did about his relationship with MeMaw did not surprise me. In my opinion, Missy had the best question to ask him about his mental facility experience. Sheldon's question for his mom was a good one too which leads me to one of my own. Has it ever been said what happened with her dad? Was he sick or in an accident?
God bless you always!!!

I don't remember any mention of what happened to Meemaw's husband but "Big Bang Theory" ran for so many years. Meemaw was only on the show once.
Dr. Sturgis handled the situation really well. I hope he and Sheldon at least can continue their relationship.
Missy was so funny. They all were.

I enjoyed the episode. I think George was very funny in his comments about Meemaw, like her being mean. I hope George does not have to keep hanging out with Sturgis because Sheldon wants him around. That is very awkward.

^^^ I hated what MeMaw said to Mr. Cooper at one point. She was like, "If you don't knock it off, you won't get to my age!"

P.S. At this point in time, Mr. Cooper has less than two years left according to what I've learned from those who know more about Sheldon's history.
