When that old biddy from the church shot her mouth off at Mrs. Cooper during tonight's show, Mrs. Cooper should've said in return, If things were getting done before I was given the job that I work here, why was a job here even up for a grabs for anyone to score in the first place?"
After what Missy did to Sheldon's property, I don't know why he kept her company on her little journey when he owed her absolutely nothing.
Because I have been dieting for the past two years, I don't add water whenever I make myself any soup to eat.
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. I love how the show ended. The writers want us to wonder if Mr. Cooper is going to look at Mrs. Sparks as his word that I can't say to go scampering off to when things get a little too rocky at home.

I shouldn't add water to soup either. If it's chicken noodle I just dump out all the liquid. Vegetable beef usually has more liquid in it once I put it in the bowl.
Missy was great last night. I was pleased Sheldon stayed with her as long as he did.
At their age Missy and Sheldon really should have separate rooms but that would mean Sheldon moving in with Georgie if Georgie doesn't get his own place when he graduates.
The singer Missy listened to is known for tearing up a photo of the Pope on live TV. Could be worse. Georgie was wearing a Def Leppard t-shirt. They have a couple of songs that would have fit Missy's mood. One of those would have been far more unpleasant. Also, Nirvana was popular back then but girls like Missy wouldn't likely listen to that.

According to something that I saw said about the Big Bang Theory show, an affair between Mr. Cooper and another woman does take place at some point before his passing happens and so I guess that we are now at the beginning of when it happens. The big question is when does the family find out about it?
God bless you always!!!

I saw Coolio in a show over the weekend. He performed the theme song of a series where Meemaw was a military vet who taught a class of delinquents.

Tonight's season five opener, to me, was good, but in my opinion, Mr. Cooper needs to come clean about what came close to happening with Mrs. Sparks or he is never going to have any real relief. A good example needs to be set for the kids anyways especially, George Jr. since he has become as serious as he is where the dating matter is concerned. Trying to set aside why Mr. Cooper was at the bar to begin with doesn't help either. Mrs. Cooper being the control freak that she is who always thinks that her way is the only way in any situation is what started the marital friction and if it doesn't get addressed now, its only going to happen again at some point.
God bless you always!!!

It was a good episode and Missy has turned into quite a character.
Nothing actually happened but they certainly are making it into a funny situation.
It was great how Sheldon insulted Meemaw.

Tonight's episode was good, but in my opinion, Mr. Cooper and Mrs. Sparks need to quit sneaking around because it only gives everyone else more to eventually drop in on and discover. Maybe what came close to happening at the end will make them get the message.
God bless you always!!!

I'm surprised this new youth pastor is so willing to let Missy have doubts. Sheldon likes this, though, and Sheldon is so happy talking about the stuff with Missy.
For staff members I guess Methodist churches do interview people this way. I've never seen it done. But I know for the lead pastor, we just take who we are given.
Peg looks like my neighbor who has cats. I don't know why I never realized this before. And she smokes too. Or did. I don't see her taking smoke breaks outside any more.
Mary doesn't seem too happy with people who aren't conservative enough.

One thing that I forgot to comment on in my previous message is Mrs. Sparks acting like the bar is the only place that meeting a new guy can be done. Has she forgotten that there are plenty of other places like the mall, the grocery store, gas stations, and ever church? We know that she is no stranger to going to concerts since that is one thing that she and Mr. Cooper talked about before he got sick. Guys can be met at the movie theater too. She could also meet other single parents at the schools that her kids go to.
God bless you always!!!

That was a great episode.
Georgie's boss just has the perfect response to everything.
And Meemaw was good too.
Mary looked great in that dress.
Some kids do succeed even after dropping out but a diploma is needed just in case.

Tonight's show was awesome! I love how different actor Bill Fagerbakke sounded compared to how his voice was during his days on the show named Coach. What the one lady said to MeMaw about not letting certain things push her around, I was like, "If you are going to thumb your nose at certain instructions, don't be surprised if your things end up ruined in return at some point!" I love when Sheldon said to Missy, "I don't make the rules. I just know them all." Another thing from him that made sense was when he pointed out to Georgie that both him and Missy got what they were hoping for and so the least that they could do in return is help the next person in line. Always stay humble and kind which is what I loved seeing Missy do at the end of the show. When she let him sleep on her bedroom floor, I thought about how happy she was when she saw him in the bed next to her again after he had gone to stay with another married couple during the first season of the show.
God bless you and the wonderful cast members always!!!
Holly
P.S. I hope that Georgie has a good heating system in the garage for any cold nights that ever happened to fall on the city of Medford Texas where ever that area is supposed to be. According to what I just read, its not a real place at least not in that state anyway. There is one however in both Minnesota and Oregon. One more thing concerning Georgie, when he was bringing his mattress into the living room and Mr. Cooper continued to sit there with a drink in his hand...normally, he is my favorite of the two parents, but when I saw him continue to sit there, I was like, "The sooner that you get up off your liquor addicted lug nut and help your son, the sooner his things will be out of your presence!" That right there is the one and only thing that I don't get about Mr. C. In the one earlier episode when he got mad at Georgie for having Billy Sparks be the one to cut the grass, he later on got mad at Georgie for offering to help get the truck heating and air conditioning system fixed. Does he want his son to be an actual help in any way or not? One more thing about Mr. Cooper, you would think that after having two health hiccups already that he would try to cut back more where his alcoholic consumption is concerned.

I didn't know that was Bill Fagerbakke until the end.
I'm so glad Missy got her own room. It was time.
I liked seeing Sheldon show off his abilities.
I thought when he lost a crossing he meant two tracks crossing, not a sign. There has been a railroad crossing sitting in the road for weeks now and no one picks it up. It looks like part of a train set.
Meemaw's 69th birthday was yesterday.

I wonder if we will be seeing anymore of the girl named Paige. Normally I can't stand the girl, but when she opened up to Sheldon about her family breaking up, my heart went out to her because I come from a broken home too. Go here if you want to see what the next two episodes are about. God bless you always!!! Holly

Tonight's episode was good. To me, Missy should do at least one date with Billy. If she is worried about what people will think, going with him might make her an unpredictable person in the opinion of everyone else which in the end could be a good thing. Another reason to go with Billy is him being the gentleman that we all know that he would be. Missy already knows what will happen when you date the most popular kid in school. You get pooped on, so why not go in the complete opposite direction next?
God bless you always!!!

Billy reminds me of Ralph Wiggum.
He's also the only person ever to think George was smart. If Sheldon got his brains from George, he needs to give them back.
Meemaw is younger than I thought.
I didn't think Georgie would go to work at a laundromat. I didn't think about the girls, but it turns out girls like that aren't the main customers.
Sheldon was funny as usual but he's not the main focus any more.

P.S. I do have one question, if the kids don't want to learn about certain things from their parents, who would the parents consider to be the next best person for their kids to go to?

It was a good show. Georgie has come through for Meemaw but now there are going to be consequences for both of them.
Mary looked good in bed in her nightmare. I don't know why straight hair would be sexier.
What happened to Dr. Sturgis was really funny, the way it was presented, though it was a shame. I liked how he reacted. He is 78 today.
An explanation of what happened during the closing credits may be needed for those who did not watch "Big Bang Theory". We who watched that show know that Sheldon constantly treated Howard like a second-class citizen because he was a mere engineer rather than a scientist like the others. Apparently Sheldon developed that attitude not because he felt superior, but based on what happens next week, because he had a hard time with engineering. And before the details of next week's episode, Howard is shown as an astronaut on the International Space Station.

Tonight's show was good. Its always good to see Reba on the show. To me, Sheldon's teacher should be fired for locking his students out of the class room due to their not being there on time. Back when I was in school, detention was given to those who were not punctual.
God bless you and Reba always!!!

It was nice to see Reba and Dale bicker. And Meemaw got upset because she needed help in the shower. My mother needed a big strong man to put her in the shower when she was really sick, though my parents made sure they'd have a seat in their shower when the house I live in now got an addition. There was a woman who actually gave my mother a shower.
I had one professor who said you'd be in more trouble if you tried to come into class late than if you missed class entirely. He didn't want class interrupted. He had so many requirements I changed professors because I wanted a good grade. I had a history teacher in junior high who was strict like this professor but only gave detention.
I was really hoping the college president would put that man in his place. He wouldn't budge. He even made George Sr. come over to his side.
For those who did not watch "Big Bang Theory", Howard helped Sheldon with the narration and at the end Howard realized this experience was why Sheldon hated engineers. Sheldon admitted that was how it started.
I don't think the professor should have been quite so hard on Sheldon. He should have given Sheldon some idea of what to do. I would have just given up. I had one math professor who said something similar to what this professor said about the importance of getting everything right when a bridge is built. I was fortunate I didn't have him for engineering math. I did take the same class but with a different professor. Then I had the professor who was so hard on engineering students for introductory computer programming. I was fortunate that when I constantly needed help, he gave it instead of being like Sheldon's professor. I ended up getting a degree in computer science. Then I flunked life.
Also for those who did watch "Big Bang Theory", the theme continued into the next episode. Al, an immigrant from Afghanistan, is in college and having difficulty. Al's friend Riley got Al's grade changed by explaining his situation. The professor was Kripke, Sheldon's nemesis, but more like his "Speechless" character, afraid to upset anyone.
