Bull was good. Bull was offered $250,000 retainer to help a company keep a widow from taking over. Bull needed the money because his company funds were depleted. His lady friend came to New York to represent the widow and she was angry with Bull for not resigning from the company’s team.
When the murder happened in the beginning of the episode, I noted the fatal flaw in the murder plan right away.
During an argument between Bull and Danny, she pointed out the flaw in the murder scheme.
I enjoy seeing Benny try cases, and the information from Danny was really all he needed to win.

It is a good thing Bull and Benny are friends because they seldom agree on anything. The team wound up taking a case they had no intention of taking. Bull could not stand by and let an 18-year-old be convicted for murder. Benny felt strongly that taking a life either by suicide or assisted suicide is murder, but Bull snapped at him that he was going to try the case anyway. Marissa worries about their expenses and another pro bono case is not helping the finances.
I enjoyed the investigation and the trial.

Bull felt sorry for the mother of a pledge who died during a hazing and told the ADA he would help with the case. The ADA does not like Bull, but he agreed. There were 15 defendants and they all told the same story. The story reminded me of a story that is currently in the news.
It was very interesting and I enjoyed it.

Bull did not like being unable to help choose the jury. He was the defendant and was supposed to let his lawyer and the team handle everything. After Bull inserted himself into the proceedings several times, the judge cited him for contempt and he was ejected from the courtroom.
He had an excellent attorney and they did well without him.
It was very interesting to see how he handled being unjustly accused.

Bull joined Marissa and her new boyfriend for dinner. Bull’s thoughts about the man the entire time they were together were hilarious.
Bull’s freshman year roommate called and asked for his help. He was being charged with first degree murder, but the problem is he lives on a reservation and they have their own laws and procedures.
Bull rushed to the reservation and learned jurors are all volunteers and are not summoned. The judge is the chief of the reservation. When you request bail, you have to put up the entire amount out of pocket because they do not have bail bondsmen. Talk about a speedy trial – they had two days to prepare.
Bull believed his friend was innocent, but he could do nothing about jury selection. But that did not stop Bull and his team from working hard to prove the friend’s innocence.
It was interesting and entertaining.

The son of Bull’s first real girlfriend came to him for help. He was a 24-year-old lawyer who had a class action suit against a big company. Bull went to their town and reunited with the ex. I really enjoy watching their process for selecting the jury. The last juror who they said was acceptable was cheerfully acceptable to defense counsel. That worried Bull and the attorney.
It was a warm and charming episode that focused more on the people involved rather than spending a lot of time in the courtroom. I liked the judge. She overruled all objections from both teams of lawyers.

S02, E07 No Good Deed
Bull is asked to help a teacher who admits to helping a student cheat on a test.
I like that the trial dealt with an issue that is currently being investigated where I live.
Bull really tried to help a good teacher even though she had pled guilty to changing a student’s test answer. The teacher’s union attorney did not want his help, but the mayor made the request. After the attorney got frustrated because the teacher refused to take an excellent plea deal, Benny took over. The case did not go well for the team.
Bull certainly went the extra mile to help the teacher and the student whose test was edited. He is sometimes harsh, but he does want to help people.
I think Marissa's charming boyfriend is setting her up for a scam to get her $75,000 in savings.

Cable asked Bull to help with a case that involved the suicide of a young man (Simon) who worked with them for four months and dated Cable during that time.
Bull met his match in Arti Candor, a trial consultant for the pharmaceutical company that ran the drug trial Simon was participating in.
There were a number of set-backs for Bull’s team and he acknowledged the other trial consultant was very good.
Cable pulled an all-nighter digging for information and came up with exactly what they needed. Benny was so relieved, he and Bull hugged her.
After the trial, Arti flirted with Bull and left the door open for a future encounter.

Although Bull did not have his team, he used his wits to help a boxer. He detected the man was not giving him the full story about how a body wound up in the trunk of his car. I think it is very interesting that Bull’s solution is not what I would call a fairy-tale ending, but it kept the man out of jail and let him continue to box.
During a previous episode, I mentioned Marissa’s boyfriend seemed to be running a con on her. She found out that he maxed out all of her credit cards and stole all of the money from her bank account. She lied to Bull and pretended everything was okay. She is trying to track him down on her own.
Chunk has a daughter!
Benny met a lady at the airport!

2.10 Home for the Holidays

This was a perfect Christmas episode. It was about a 9-year old girl who felt neglected by her father and wanted a divorce from him. She was articulate and very mature, but she did not like being left alone in their apartment so much.
Bull intervened and the judge surprised him by making him the child’s advocate. That interfered with a case he had just accepted four days before Christmas. He had to make a choice between the well-paying client and Family Court. He made the right choice. The girl and her father loved each other, but he did not give her enough attention. Almost losing her made him realize his mistake and they want to remain together.
Bull was adorable when he dressed like Santa Claus and surprised the little girl. That was very sweet.
Marissa and her teammates tracked down the scamming boyfriend and he was arrested.

This episode would probably be exciting for people who were not exposed to the Patty Hearst drama. The girl in this episode was only 16 when she was lured away from home by a man she met on the internet. Bull and his team fought very hard to help her although she was not cooperative.

I enjoyed this. Bull and his team defended a therapist who was the first person Bull shared an office with when they were both starting their careers. Bull trusted him until several things made him suspicious. Because of attorney-client privilege, Bull could not tell Benny or disrupt the case.
After they won the case, Bull and his team (except for Benny) set up a sting to get the ego-driven doctor to admit what he had done. Very well played.

All of Bull's cases have been unique and entertaining. There was an extreme lapse in judgment when a former classmate of Cable asked her to do something that she knew she should not do. She jeopardized the case and because it was a federal case, Bull could have lost his company. He was angry and fired cable.
In the most recent episode, Bull has not forgiven Cable and refused to discuss her with the other members of the team. Cable has applied for another job, but it is awkward that no member of Bull's team can respond to requests about her work history.
