The names of the countries in the above post are misspelled. This was also the case on my TiVo. In the actual episode any time we saw the names of the countries, they were spelled differently. However the countries were spelled, they sounded like Japan's largest island. And we all know those were actually North and South Korea but the plot was too close to reality. Wells had to make sure the son of the leader of what sounded like North Korea got his girlfriend to safety. That was almost a problem. I was amazed the leader of the nation with nuclear weapons gave in so easily. I think Kirkman likes the pretty female CEO. I was convinced she wasn't happy about giving up all the money she would get from the deal. I thought Lyor's nemesis was going to be the leak. I couldn't believe who it turned out to be and that he had no regrets. I thought about North and South Korea also while watching this. I like Moss and I am disappointed he did not respect Kirkman. It seems he undermined several situations so he could "swoop in and save the day". I think he likes the CEO too and they work well together. I thought Lyor's nemesis was going to be the leak, but he was just a disloyal jerk. Lyor and Seth sharing a room was not as disastrous as I expected. Chuck, the computer tech, should receive a raise. Seth and Emily are on the outs again. I like her, but she is not good for Seth's self-esteem.

Fallout
SEASON 2, EPISODE 16 • NEW 4/4/18, 10:00 PM ON WMARDT 2 • TV-14 • STEREO • CC

The staff said they needed Kirkman to be decisive. He was decisive tonight, but no one looked happy.
The FBI was pretty sure there was a dirty bomb, but locating it was difficult. Dr. Frost agreed to let Kirkman use her proprietary equipment to trace the bomb, but she was reluctant because the software could be used to invade people’s privacy. I liked the scene when they were in the diner and she ordered the food for them.
The FBI Director felt sorry about what happened to Mrs. Kirkman and apologized to the President. Kirkman did not hold him responsible for what happened and told him to continue to do his job. I was shocked when the Director later ran right into the path of the explosion. He and five other FBI agents died in the blast.
When the reporter thought Seth sent him an anonymous email, Seth looked very confused. We learned later Emily leaked the information so the prosecutor would need to bring Ross up on charges.
Kirkman was convinced the Kunami government arranged for the bomb, and he attacked their country. I did not believe Kirkman would go through with it, and I kept waiting for him to say abort. Nope!

What Kirkman did is what I'm afraid Trump would do. It didn't look so bad when he did it, but it looked bad.
We're on our third FBI Director now? I was really sorry he was actually there when it didn't seem like he had to be. I was pleased Kirkman didn't hold him responsible for what happened to his wife.
Emily was as guilty as Moss. I hate that Moss will fight the charges.
There was one scene when it was suspected nuclear material was in a warehouse. And the people went in without any kind of protection?

Your president threatened Russia on Twitter. Kirkman, nor any other president, would do that! Russia called it "Twitter diplomacy."

I was hoping the episode would not spend too much focus on the battle zones. We saw some military-like action, but it was not overbearing.
I would like to understand Agent Wells backstory. She acts like a soldier and she was well versed in Middle Eastern culture and languages. Who is she?
Kirkman was close to being vilified by the media, but the Seal team found something that vindicated the President’s actions.
Notable:
It’s difficult to know who to trust – the Amir’s ambassador betrayed him.
Aaron Shore said Lyor is a decent fellow.
Damian told Chuck that Aaron promised him a full pardon if he helped them.
As soon as Kirkman survives one crisis, another one pops up.

Lyor is decent. Just a jerk.
They have to keep us coming back, so that's why there's a new crisis before every episode ends.
It was nice of Kirkman to call the girl into the Oval Office. I assume she's the one who was given those difficult tests before she was hired. I wish I had known that was her brother helping Wells. And how di she know that language?
I hadn't given this any thought, but Kirkman spends a lot of time in a red office that is not shaped like an oval.

I actually watched this episode and it was a really good one.
I felt bad that Kirkman is being slandered and it looks like someone close to him has leaked out his sessions. The episode was very action packed and it had just the right amount of drama mixed with action that it held my attention. It was nice to see a familiar face on there who is ruthless but seems to be willing to play hard ball.
I can't wait to see what happens next. When I watched the episode it reminded me of the movie "The American President" because so much happened in so little time.

I don't like to see Kirkman being treated this way. Now I would like to see Trump go through this process.
Something important was missing from the episode. It would have been simple to have someone say of the man deciding whether Kirkman is fit, "After his stroke he has been so determined to show there is nothing he can't do that it will be really tough to go up against him."
I had trouble understanding Michael but I was glad to see him.
I also liked seeing Penny.
I knew who Turing was even before the movie on his life because his concepts were covered in several of my computer science classes.
I can't believe who has been doing the hacking and I was really hoping things would go well with this character.

The person who is doing the hacking I somewhat suspected when I first saw her.
She looks familiar, trying to think where I've seen her before.

I was really surprised to see him using a walking stick.
I didn't have trouble understanding him but I did recognize him before they actually did the reveal. I was a little disappointed that they didn't do it more surprisingly.
I really don't like his beard, it makes him look bad.

This is the first time I have viewed Mr. Fox as a villain in a series. Mr. West was introduced as a laudable and learned individual. Later, when Lyor talked to him, it became apparent West has been involved in some shady dealings even if he was not prosecuted for them. During that discussion, he seemed more interested in winning than being fair and impartial.
I really like Dr. Frost and Kirkman needs a friend. Perhaps she has a grudge against Kirkman because he asked her to let the government use her proprietary equipment even though she said she did not want to. Or maybe she planned the hack all along.
The biggest hurt (and twist) would be if Trey was the hacker.
I read the above comments and it is not clear to me why you think they need to explain why the arbitrator walks with a cane. If he was in a wheelchair, I would not ask why.

The reason why I was curious is because in an previous role done by Michael J. Fox they explained why his character was using a wheelchair. But I do like seeing him expand his acting abilities.
Maybe he can win an Emmy for it.

At last. West's disability was acknowledged but not defined. Kirkman said the words I was hoping to hear. He of all people should have known what it was like to be different and he should have understood that being different was not bad.
We really need wells at this point so she really shouldn't have confronted Frost. We know what she did might be bad.
I was really surprised at the outcome but the show wouldn't have been the same. It appears West will stay around.

I think the hacking issue was resolved in a very interesting way. I never suspected Kirkman’s friend because they had been friends for a very long time. It is shocking he would hurt Kirkman in order to further undermine the government. Although I am glad it was not Dr. Frost, I would have preferred it to be someone I did not like.
Mike gave Chuck very good advice to look out for himself.
Ethan West is still unlikeable, but he did play a positive role in getting the graffiti artist home. Of course, he caused things to escalate before he was helpful.
Kenda is a remarkable attorney, and I think she made the right decision regarding her nominee. He was too touchy-feely with women he just met and that would be used against him.
Hannah is playing with my heart. I thought she was fired; then she was not. Now, she has resigned to go on a vendetta against the Russian agent. Will she return to the FBI eventually? I like Hannah and she adds excitement to the episodes.

Someone pushed the wrong button about 12 minutes in and I'll have to watch online to see if I missed anything. It actually happened twice. I suppose the idea is to make sure the right commercials will air, but you don't actually air them at that time.
I liked how Kirkman helped solve the case by making it look like Hannah was fired. Maybe Frost was in on it when Hannah confronted her.
They really made us think they were still after Frost and that Hannah was doing it on her own. Just like MacGyver, she got it done at the last minute.
I freeze the video when they're copying computer files. Sometimes they look enough like what I learned in college. What Hannah was copying this week was a language I didn't know, but it was clearly a commonly used language.
I didn't think the nominee had done anything so bad that he should be rejected.
West still wasn't exactly ethical but he got the job done.
I thought the graffiti artist was in Bhutan, but obviously they couldn't use a real country.
The women wore hot outfits.

Two different old men with connections to Michael were fooling around with characters' moms.
I didn't recognize Michael's TV dad on "A.P. Bio" but when I saw his name in the credits and went back and watched again, I should have.
And Marty McFly's friend Doc on "Roseanne".

The episode was worthy of a season finale. Although I anticipated something was going to happen to Emily when she went to Kendra’s home, I did not think it would be that drastic. I thought perhaps a kidnapping until we learned a sniper killed the convict.
Kirkman’s threat got the budget passed, but he did not make any allies in the way he handled it.
I liked West’s interaction with Lyor, but he ruined any chance of me becoming a fan when he continued to target Kirkman. Jerk!
Trey’s relationship with Kendra gives him a broader storyline and will hopefully keep him around next season.
Former Agent Wells will have a story separate from the White House, but I am glad she will still be around.

Kendra seems like a good girl. What was she doing in bed?
I liked how Kirkman stood firm but maybe criticizing the parties wasn't the way to do it.
West needs subtitles. I found it very surprising no one had trouble understanding him.
I figured Moss was going to end up pulling a Cleveland.
Wells is having a harder time without an official title.
I hate what happened to Emily and hope she'll be okay.
