When I saw the promos that showed Oliver and Barry in each other's suits, my reaction was not positive. But they made it work and I loved every minute of it. This was a very entertaining crossover. There was so much I liked about the third episode that it would take too long to post about it. However, I want to mention that I was happy to see Brainiac's signature move when someone tries to hit him. A special nod to Barry for feeling ill when they had to play the bad guys. Poor baby. Calling Star Labs the Fortress of Solitude was outrageous. When Cisco was in the real Fortress, he stole stuff and slid it inside his coat.

I did not get to watch this all the way through as I had planned. When I watched the first episode, it was two episodes of "Friends" preceded by a lot of commercials. This is usually a sign there has been a technical problem. I contacted the station, and was told they lost their feed due to the winter storm. I didn't know until I had done that about the episode airing immediately before Part 2. My only option, unless I wanted to wait, was to go online, which I did.
And I'm so glad I did! That was one of the best episodes of "The Flash" in a long time. Maybe not the best ever.
I found it very confusing that we saw Oliver, when it was actually Barry. There was a mention of "Quantum Leap" when Barry and Oliver met. I had to look up his name but if any of you don't know that show but do watch "NCIS" or its spinoffs, I'm referring to King Pride, who was Dr. Sam Beckett. We didn't see what others saw, but we saw who we were seeing, which was Sam. When Sam would look in a mirror, he saw what others were seeing.
Only it wasn't like that. We saw Oliver, who everyone thought was Barry. And then it got even more confusing because photos of Oliver showed Barry and vice versa.
Watching Oliver try to be Flash and Barry try to be Green Arrow was amazing. Both of them eventually did so well, but it was fun watching them mess up and criticize each other.
I felt so much better when Iris finally was convinced of what both men were saying.
And already, they went to that other Earth where "Supergirl" takes place. When I heard that music and saw that farm …
So Clark in "Supergirl" really is from that farm.
And this series is taking place with everything that happened to each character the same. It's not some alternate reality. That means I'm probably missing some details about Oliver, but like someone said, he's a jerk.
I did like that Lois. And she called him "Smallville"! I was disappointed we never got to see them visit Argo. Lois meeting Lois! Even better, what if Rhea (is she still alive? I forget) had been the villain in that episode?
It was amazing to watch all these superheroes fighting that villain who could take on their powers, and then watch him use their powers. Unlike Cicada, he didn't take away their powers.

I enjoyed almost all of it. The only part that was uncomfortable was when Oliver was very angry at Barry for having fun. I am glad they resolved that in this episode. There were so many fun scenes and lines. The funniest one to me was when Barry tricked Oliver and shot him with arrows. I laughed as much as Barry did. I think Barry really enjoyed saying Green Arrow's tag line. That actually worried Iris. It would also have worried Joe. Barry had a strong reaction to learning Oliver woke up in his bed. When Oliver met Clark, he did the macho thing by puffing out his chest. I liked hearing "Somebody Save Me" when we saw the Kent farm. The non-meta team members often think of solutions and that was the case this time. It was exciting to see them take down the robot. I loved hearing "You have failed this city" from Flash, and then from Barry as Green Arrow. I liked Barry's reaction to Oliver being in his bed.

I just remembered they finally responded to the question that has been asked many times. There are recessed toilets in the power dampening cells. I never thought about that, but now there's a way to get out and I hope that information doesn't get out.

I was going to say I wish there could be a crossover with "Gotham" but then I remembered the cars are ancient and even though they have cell phones smaller than a shoe, they don't seem to have the Internet. So that would also have involved time travel.

I watched "Quantum Leap" series and enjoyed Cisco's debate with the other fans. Thanks to FlashFan's updates, I knew Arrow and Flash would switch identities so I was prepared for that. I was surprised though that the personal photos showed them with the wrong families.

There was a very special resident at Arkham Asylum *drum roll*...Marc Guggenheim! They roasted Oliver/Flash throughout the episode. It serves him right for being so serious all of the time. Batwoman was intense! I liked her and I enjoyed her conversations with Supergirl. Monitor is an interesting character. I cannot look at him as a villain because he said he is looking for heroes who can defeat someone who is stronger than him. That is a challenge. The next episode will be exciting but I am also wondering if they can solve the problem in one episode. I want to watch last night's episode again before I watch Supergirl. Also at Arkham, O. Cobblepot and E. Nygma. On the Halloween episode of "Fresh Off the Boat" … well, it's better if I say it on the Gotham thread. The second episode wasn't as funny. "Arrow" is normally darker and that was certainly true in this case. I didn't like Felicity in this episode but at least she was gorgeous. It was understandable that they didn't want to explain things to her. And they found out they were right. Gotham only has 1.6 million people? The real city it's based on has 8 million! I was disappointed not to see Jim but the bat signal was neat. And Alfred was at least the Wi-fi password. I didn't care for the personality of the real girl who became Batwoman but I couldn't help but like her when she was in costume. Was that Wells fighting with one of our heroes?

But it was great that Kara was able to make Alex change her mind. No, wearing the suit and having the powers did not make him Superman. For one thing, he was all in black. Someone said, "Bizarro" but wouldn't he have had reverse colors? It was great to see Brainiac. The scenes with Superman and Lois were the best.

Yep, that was Wells as the Reverse Flash and we saw Malcolm Merlyn too.
