I don't know how this show has done, but I saw last night's episode and in my opinion it had better at least get a conclusion.

Do you live in the hurricane areas? Well, it didn't hit us after all. Last-minute change in the path. it was not pleasant for a couple of days, but no real impact. |

If this doesn't get a season 2. I don't care. Here's why.
Yes, I did like seeing Sam kiss a man. I did not like that it was Eddie.
But they weren't content with that. Those two were tearing each other's clothes off, or tearing their clothes off. As much as I like the idea of Sam taking her clothes off, she was doing it with Eddie and that's just not right. The whole idea was these two can't stand each other, and while I could accept that they finally respected each other, for them to do that just didn't work for me.
Furthermore, the episode was funny only for a few minutes.
They set it up so the show could be cancelled. Sam can leave and take that movie role. She could come back to being a detective later if there was a second season. But no, Eddie has to be accused of murder. Who exactly is going to solve the case? Sam? Her Asian assistant? The tech guy? What they need is Sherlock Holmes (is his series still on? I could never get into that) or those guys who solved problems using math along with the perky "American Idol" winner who was clueless but looked good. Yeah, that show reminds me too much of my real life.

Wouldn't know. I heard both ends of my road were blocked by flooding. I did not see flooding on one creek on my road and that road has flooded. There's one mobile home that used to affect but I don't even remember whether its there any more. On the other end there's an intersecting road that goes down a long hill and I wouldn't be surprised if it flooded. Some places nearby got more than 10 inches but it didn't rain enough where I live. |

I wonder when we are going to know if this show is going to continue or not. To me, it should at least get a proper closing considering how the last episode ended. The powers that be had better not have it be like the A&E show named The Glades.
