Coop is still in danger but some of the buys are standing up for her and promising to protect her.
Spencer has quite a dilemma. His presence in the coach's house makes his wife uncomfortable and yet the school loses its title if he is found out. And he wants to go back to his old school and play for his father.
The coach is living with his father … no, wait, he's in Florida.
Still lots of problems.

I forgot to post here last week.
It looks like Spencer gets to stay with the coach's family.
I was surprised the coach got to come back just like that. The substitute coach, according to the credits, was the real Spencer.
Coop actually stood up to her bullies. And then at the rap contest it was just too much.
Looks like Layla is having real problems but she manages to hide it.
Jordan was getting away with goofing off but he knows he needs to be responsible.'
I like that Spencer's father took it so well that Spencer only wanted a relationship with him but didn't want to play for him.

Layla's problems are not being hidden any more.
I can't believe Spencer's father just left like that. What about his team?
Jordan keeps getting in worse and worse trouble.
I liked the flashbacks, but did anyone consider that a scene during football season took place in 1993 if they graduated in 1994?

I figured Layla's storyline was going to lead to a message for those with depression. I was relieved they didn't put her away, but her behavior did cause problems again.
Liv should have called her mom when she wanted to leave. Jordan's situation went from bad to worse.
At least the coach is trying to take control of the situation.
We still don't know why Spencer's father left but things with the man's son aren't good.
Coop was right. Spencer had no right to go through the man's mail.
So do we have a new controversy?

And because Spencer went through his father's mail, they know the truth. His cancer came back. The same cancer that kept him from playing in the NFL.
Good for Jordan coming through for his girlfriend. His team needed him, but it was just an exhibition game. And they were playing rough, which shouldn't have happened in a game that didn't count.
Coop has to make a choice. She can succeed if she is part of a duo, or keep trying as a solo artist.
And Spencer's "brother" came back.
Layla is doing better.
Now it's Olivia who has problems. She wants to drink.

What a sad episode. I was really hoping Spencer's father would spend time with the family. But after he initially rejected them, they made the experience really enjoyable for him and they all had a good time. Too much of the episode was spent going back and forth between Billy and his wife talking about the affair and Spencer's parents doing the same thing. And the other scenes with Billy's family having therapy.

Spencer quit playing? How much of this is real?
He pretty much has to change his mind or the series is over.
Coop came through for Patience. I won't admit to liking any of what they call music, but both of them are talented.
Layla scared me. I'm glad she changed her mind.
Jordan is doing a good thing for the baby.
Olivia's boyfriend got what he wanted, sort of.

What a way to celebrate King Day. If that was the intention. Spencer gets kicked out of a yogurt place because he's black and the white person thinks he's in a gang. And the cops show up and Spencer's brother nearly gets a gun pulled on him? But how they dealt with it was pretty impressive. The cops and the woman were lucky the coach's wife didn't show up.
Meanwhile Layla is making progress.
That was a terrible thing to do to Coop. She worked hard and got others to help.

How could they end it like that? I had this uneasy feeling something was about to happen and I was right. And did the real Spencer have something like that happen?
Once again, Coop has trouble with Patience.
Asher tried but his future is important. I know Olivia has a problem with that, but he might not get another chance like this.
For once this show had good music but they had to go and mess that up.
I'm glad Spencer chose not to use a gun.

I'll post again after watching tonight but I'll just say it was great that even in the hospital the way he was feeling, Spencer thought first of Coop and making sure there was not a gang war.

Spencer is working too hard, so I hope he won't get hurt. It's a shame UCLA can't let him in. The UCLA visit was entertaining.
Asher messed things up with the frat party. I'm concerned about him. Hopefully he won't be a bad influence on Spencer, who could easily take a shortcut.
Coop was about to work with Layla and Patience was there. She's handling things well, though.
Things don't seem much better with the problems Tyrone caused.

Forgot to post last week.
I sure hope Coop is telling the truth. We know someone killed Tyrone but there are several suspects.
Asher has really messed up this time.
Spencer is trying too hard and now there are consequences.

Coop was almost in real trouble. Something about the behavior of the real killer made me suspect that's who it was. And it's stiull a shame, but at least Coop will be okay.
The coach did something admirable and I hope Asher deserves it.
I hope things work out for Spencer.

I forgot every thread on this board.
So Coop may have a deal with Layla. Her father couldn't give her what she wanted.
I'm glad Asher told the truth and the coach got his job back, but consequences for Asher could be bad. While the coach was out, the real Spencer was in charge. He seems tough, but they don't give him a lot of lines.
I'm glad Spencer was able to play in that game. But don't scare us like that! His future is looking good.

I didn't know it was the finale, but if "Supernatural" airs in the slot tonight, it must have been.
Besides, everything happened in a way that suggested it was the finale.
I was very pleased with Spencer's speech and the fact he wants Coach Baker to go with him to South Crenshaw.
And now it turns out the physical therapist missed something and maybe Spencer is not all right.
Coop gets to go on tour. And Layla gets to work with her father.
I'm not clear on what happened with the prisoner. He didn't want Coop to visit but it was someone else.

It's back but I just haven't had time to watch.

I realized that I didn't know how many episodes there should be. When I checked the episode number, the first one was number three. So when I finish with "Tell Me a Story", I have to watch the first two episodes of "Call Your Mother". I don't know how many episodes of "Call Me Kat" are missing but the first one I have is five. I don't remember whether I saw number two. So I may have three to watch. And then I can watch the first two episodes of this show. And the pilot of "Walker". I'm also missing eight "Goldbergs" episodes but that's not so bad because reruns are being shown constantly either on ABC or syndicated.

Here's where I stand. I want to go ahead and watch both episodes I missed online before watching what is still on the TiVo.
Last week I had the painful experience of getting through two more episodes of "Call Me Kat". I may have one more to go. It was made even more unpleasant by the fact I was told I had an hour to watch everything. The clock does not stop if a video has trouble loading. It does not stop for numerous commercials. I don't know why Fox makes things so difficult. Yes, it's free but I watched your commercials didn't I? I just did make it through two episodes. I also have "World's Funniest Animals" to deal with but I think that'll be around when I finish. I really do want to see "All American" next week and start watching the episodes I did not lose.
"Walker" will follow "All American" and then the animals. As to when I watch "Walker" episodes I recorded, I don't know.

I don't know why I get both seasons of "Tell Me a Story" and all of one season of "World's Funniest Animals" and not this season of "All American". I suppose this means I'll have to wait for whenever I can watch "Riverdale". I keep getting deals for a free month of Hulu but I can't use that until "The Orville" comes back. But if I don't get a similar deal for whatever shows the CW shows I want, then I won't watch. And that means I won't watch any of these period. That's what you get for treating me like this.

As I waited to see the first two before watching the rest, I lost most of the rest. I don't know why. I wasn't at 100 percent. Why did I lose so many shows at once? That happened at Thanksgiving several years ago. I don't know why they expect me to pay to see these but I'm not going to watch any of them. I didn't select "Keep until I delete" for the episodes of this show like I did for so many others But I could have lost shows that were harder to watch. Movies might actually be a lot harder to see, and they won't be cleaned up if I can.

Back next week, but I missed an entire season and I have to watch most of the episodes online when I get a chance. It's not on the CW site so I have to wait until I get whatever lets me watch for free for a month.

At the Family Film Awards this won best drama. Doesn't seem family friendly.
