I've never been a fan of Roseanne but I did see this show tonight. To kill someone's character because of something they say in my opinion is way over the line. The powers that be acted like Roseanne took out a gun and blew someone in half with it when she didn't. Because of how the powers that be chose to write this show, today's episode will be my final and with my not being a fan in the first place, all that I have left to say is this: I thought the goal was to attract new viewers, not make them find something else to watch.

They did a great job. I thought it would be sad, but they found ways to make us laugh. And people reacted in a way that was satisfying. I think they overreacted to Roseanne's tweeting. She's Roseanne, after all! It is an opportunity to see how they would handle her death, but chances are there's no coming back from this. I say that since they did it with Dan.
And Ted Danson's wife had a cameo. I guess Dan was being hard on her. And it wasn't totally her fault.

Really good episode this week.
I did not like Blue but Juliette Lewis has been nominated for awards. Maybe even won some. She's quite good and sort of appealing.
I did like seeing David and hope he comes back from time to time.
I figured Dan wouldn't think Becky could do the work. It had nothing to do with being a girl. Darlene could probably do it. But Becky should have known better. Alcohol and that kind of work don't mix.
Darlene handled her daughter's situation really well.
DJ likes showtunes? But it's Darlene who has the son who …
DJ's wife is too uptight.

They're doing really well. I try to figure out which lines actually spoken might have been given to Roseanne and I think she might have done some of them better.
They acknowledge she's gone but don't really seem too depressed about it and that helps.
Darlene was right. Her son was being respectful to Frida Kahlo.
And she seems to lack the talent to insult people the way Don Rickles did, which is what the boss wanted. Mean insults she can do.

I couldn't understand why Dan was better and then he was depressed again. Then I saw on another site that this episode was shown out of order so the Halloween episode could air at Halloween. I knew I had seen that Geena was going to be upset her daughter wasn't going to church, but that didn't happen until this episode.
I'd like to see more of Dwight even if he isn't a serial killer saying disturbing things. He was one of Charlie's prisoners in "Anger Management".
I don't like Geena. She's too uptight.
Jackie was so funny at the mall, but of course she overdid being the liberal.
It's weird to see Jackie not being religious, when I'm used to the actress being Sheldon's mother. Her daughter is so much like her.

So Becky is pregnant. What happened to the girl who wanted her to be a surrogate? Or she may have a way out of her jam anyway. Those friends want a child but don't seem to be able to get pregnant.
I suppose it's not unreasonable for Dan to let Becky go.
Darlene's boyfriend looked familiar. I was right! It appears the whole cast of "New Girl" will end up on other shows. Except this man was not a regular and now he won't be here either.
Darlene was right to want the newspaper to improve, but her boss has his own way of doing things. It's perfectly all right. And yet he'll put up with Darlene anyway.

I was hoping Becky would let the couple have the child.
It was nice to see the girl Becky was going to have a baby for again. That could have been the solution. Except she's not happy.

It's funny that David is such a wimp and Darlene is strong. Leonard is the same way. But when Darlene wants a relationship with someone like her, it won't end well.
Dan was so funny treating that motorcycle like it wasn't worth his time. And Jackie's boyfriend the same way.
Jackie seems to know what she's doing. But she misses having Roseanne to help her in situations like this.

What a shame Dan got hurt working in DJ's place. And he has his own job which he can't do now. At least not as well. He is the boss, so that helps.
DJ's boss, once I saw the credits, was a radio talk show host who is well known for pranks on the listeners. I was actually fooled. His crazy callers seemed real but they were all him.
I was sort of happy with how it turned out. It would have been nice to get a big settlement but the company could drag it out. Dan being poor, he could get help and that worked out. It was nice what he did for his grandson.
I don't like DJ's wife.

Ben handled things with Darlene's son the right way.
Blue gets on my nerves. I suppose the shower was funny.
Becky's baby's father listed all these names and I just knew that was supposed to be one name.

I am happy Blue is out but David and Darlene can't make it work.
I don't want Darlene to leave. That would change the show. But she could commute, I suppose.
So sad about Jackie but that was funny about her mom.
The other Becky has become a semi-regular on "Speechless".

Becky's baby was born. I feel bad for her that it wasn't a normal birth. I want to know why the others had to wear gloves and cover up their clothes and Becky actually touched the baby and didn't need protection.
Darlene is being foolish.

The other kid might have been lying to please his grandmother.

I wish "Superior Donuts" was still on but then she wouldn't be here. Jackie has been really wacko. I never thought of the basement. But wasn't it flooded last season? Nice option for Becky. Becky finally wore yellow like everyone else. That was kind of an extreme reaction. $2 sounds like a good tip. I would have though Becky wouldn't owe anything because she's so poor. Darlene has a big choice to make.

That was funny how she called all those people to help.
Becky was kind of unreasonable about her tip. How can she owe hundreds of thousands? I thought she went to the hospital for poor people which wouldn't expect her to pay.
