Yes, yes, I want this thread to be free for whiners and complainers and free from nit-pickers. I hate picking nits! And I am totally against the thought police...

Thanks to Ohlessa for providing us with the actual recording that I remember. Did you notice......it is a 78 rpm. Now that's before my time, but I do remember 45's and 33 1/2.

So, I've gotten into trouble on other threads because I let on that I was getting tired of the way the writers are treating Dean's character. I'm tired of the whole self-loathing, guilty and not to bright caricature. I wish they would use a little more imagination.

Also, what the hell is with Sam(Jared's) sideburns? Jeez, if they get any bigger and pointier they're gonna meet under his nose. I mean, come on.....a hunter, on the run, Lucifer poking at his brain and he has the time to shave those things to pointy perfection? Really? If he doesn't tame those things pretty soon, they're gonna need their own show.

Don't feel alone, I tried to bring humor and somehow I made it worse! Then someone said I lied because I restated what Jared said about Cas not liking him and the feeling being mutual. Someone said that didn't mean they weren't friends. In my day someone who didn't like you and you didn't like them = not friend. What is the world coming to?

We all just want a place where we can kick back, relax and be amused. Mix in a little grumbling about some Supernatural episodes and it's a cocktail that I encourage everyone to drink.

For the record, I am 63 years old and excelled in the real world. Truth is, personal and insulting attacks on a forum are offensive. Doesn't mean people are overly sensitive.

If this thread complains about the show instead of attacking people, it should be fun and harmless.

My complaint #1. I hate characters being killed off after we have become vested in them - like Bobby and Rufus. C'mon, did they really have to kill Rufus? I understand Bobby's death was for dramatic effect, but I still hate it.

Procedural shows have six and more regulars and take forever to kill off boring characters, but Supernatural kills off the entertaining ones.

I, too, am sorry Rufus got killed off. He was a character that was hardly explored and could have guested in lots of future episodes. I think that was a bad decision by Sera, et.al.

Anyone who can't take a good natured jab occasionally, especially in a forum like this, is, IMO, overly sensitive. This is a public forum and we all still have first amendment rights. That included speech we don't agree with as well as that with which we agree.
