Didn't realize this was a new season.
Alex looks just like her "That 80s Show" character except for the spikes in her hair.
How in the world is anyone going to explain that Kara is missing?
I was pleased that Catco's boss was able to save Catco while letting her father's company go down.

I didn't take the time to watch this week's episode. "This Is Us" was on.

Melissa is such a good actress! Of course she was on "Glee" but she's never had a challenge quite like this on this show.
And there's one obstacle after another to getting her out. I'm worried this could take a while. At least she's reunited with her father. Lots of excitement as they try but Alex is so sad. I hate to see that. I also wish Alex wouldn't wear that raccoon makeup.
Lex was acquitted? This man continues to remind me of Donald Trump. And how did he get to act as his own lawyer? But it worked. And his henchman posing as the bailiff was funny.
Kara is still missing and Nia still has to do her job.

Today is Jon Cryer's 56th birthday.
How evil can Lex possibly get? Burning a children's hospital!
I'm not understanding how Lena just letting Lex have the company will solve problems.
I was happy to see Supergirl find a possible way out and a new friend. She is so pretty but somehow for the time before she was "healed" she looked awful. Now her hair looks great again.
I can't stand seeing Alex so upset but she finally pushed herself to work again.
The Martians really came through this week.

Okay, Supergirl's friend is not a friend. She has Glinda's personality but Elphaba's morals. She's going to cause big trouble. Someone needs to warn Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr. that she's coming.
Alex did a great thing being willing to sacrifice Kara to save the rest of the world.
Lots of excitement but I'm always glad when they can get out of whatever jam they're in.
I'm glad Lena can help them now.

Now this one was more like it.
I watched this show to begin with because it was cute. This episode was cute. Mostly.
And I enjoyed that it involved time travel.
Alex was cute back then. Kara wasn't as cute.
But Nia and Brainy were cute and their stories were fascinating. What they had to do was quite complicated.
And they ran out of time. That's okay. I didn't want it to end.

Not as cute an episode, but they sure got out of that mess quickly. Or did they? Kara was almost subjected to experiments and would have lost all the good she has been able to do.
I still don't understand how someone else knows about Kara.
So Cat Grant still becomes what she is, even with this change?
Resetting everything back to normal was quite interesting.
Alex in the present day directed the episode. Alex in the past sure was pretty.

That was a very confusing episode. I finally had to conclude that most of what was happening was not happening. It became clear everyone was seeing their fears come true.
We know no one can die, so if we think that's what we see, it's someone's fear.
Meanwhile, Kara gets to come home. And her "friend" has hitched a ride.

The other posts are on the wrong thread, but anyway ...
That was actually a good episode. Kara is out of danger and as bad a things got, it was all resolved in one episode so that's great.
And there were even some light moments. Some of which involved Kara's father.
How they explain Kara being missing I don't know. Kara didn't even get a story!
It's going to be hard for Kara to interview "Supergirl", but of course any reporting about Phantoms is really affecting her.

Another good episode. Kara gets yelled at because she can't get an interview with Supergirl, and all the other news services have video. at least her co-worker got a story.
It was nice to see the man get out of prison and reunite with his brother. And the woman taking care of the kids got what she deserved. The little girl was cute.

I forgot to mention: I suspect the friendly woman is our next villain. I think she was friendly to Supergirl in The Phantom Zone and turned out not to be a friend after all.
And if she wants to return to The Fifth Dimension, Marilyn McCoo should make an appearance.

I'm glad they can do some light stuff like the public service announcement with Brainy looking green. I think he directed the episode.
Nia was held prisoner but learned a lot from her mother during the short time they had together.
And Supergirl's former nemesis from The Phantom zone caused trouble.
The most important story was the attempt to preserve affordable housing for former prisoners. Lots of excitement when the meeting was interrupted.

I was thinking there would be so much damage to the building that affordable housing might be in jeopardy.
I am tired of Supergirl being in jeopardy. I am glad she quickly called Mr X.
Dreamer is so depressing that she sucks the light from the episode.

Mxyzptlk was funny, but I still prefer to see him either as Leo Getz or, even better, as Felix Unger with Oscar Madison. Also, if someone from The Fifth Dimension is going to sing, why can't it be Marilyn McCoo?
Lena wears such nice clothes. I would have though they'd treat her like that for being a Luthor.
Nia is so much prettier these days when she's in uniform.

One hospital? If they can't handle everyone from that neighborhood, why not send some somewhere else? And they don't seem to care.
Once again, everything was exciting, but the last thing I wanted to see was Alex and Kelly being so serious at the end.
At least we got to laugh once at a reference to eating vegetables.

I am afraid that woman acted like real politicians who do not care about the people in poor neighborhoods. The hospital staff seemed accustomed to not receiving the help they need.
I enjoyed the excitement. It was surprising that the imp was successful in facing her fear before Supergirl, and now she can try to get the next artifact.
I always thought Lena's character was interesting. Her natural ability as a witch/magician makes her even more interesting to me.
Someone on the Supergirl crew must think people enjoy those serious scenes where people are miserable. I do not enjoy them. I hope Dreamer can stop whining about her mother now.

I'm a week behind because I went to the beach and hoping I got the entire episode. It's almost over so there's no need for a "one pass".
Supergirl had to go back to a time when she had courage, and so did the Fifth Dimension character with the unpronounceable name. Supergirl didn't succeed and this made people act bizarre, and then the other found the token as the result of succeeding.
I couldn't believe how J'onn just didn't care about anything and seemed happy.

I'm still a week behind but the Fifth Dimension villain learned compassion, and believe it or not, the group defeated her by getting Lena to INCREASE the chaos and then trying to control it.
Seems to have worked.
A foster family should protect an alien, not depend on that alien's powers to protect them. For a minute there I thought Alex and Kelly were going to take the child.
Meanwhile, the reporter has impressed the woman in charge of CatCo by doing things his way and will get to continue doing so. He agreed not to give away certain secrets.

Still a week behind. and Alex and Kelly not only took the child but promised they'd never abandon her. That's a big promise.
Alex makes such a good mom even though she's so tough. Everyone was so good at handling kids.
Lots of challenges this week but they found a way to make it all work. William's boss expects too much from him. Meanwhile, how does anyone explain Kara's absence?

Still a week behind. I felt so bad when Kara lost her big story. This could mean her job. But her other commitment was so much more urgent.
William is coming through for those who want the story to be heard.
Is that really Lex and has he been in disguise all this time? I knew he would show up because Jon Cryer was listed as a special guest.
I enjoyed seeing Nia reach her sister what she did.

Still a week behind. That was sweet the way Esme was able to help with the party.
Lex actually cares about someone else. This is new. But he's making things complicated for everyone by helping the Fifth Dimension person.

Can't read anything yet and I haven't seen it and don't know when I will. I don't want to see the last one.
Supergirl just couldn't stop smiling when she was talking with Alex, who didn't want to hear what she had to say.
Brainy will be leaving us, which doesn't matter if it's ending. But Nia is not happy.
Kara's hair always looks terrible. Supergirl's hair always looks perfect. Well, almost.
William was so cute with Esme, but I hate what happened.
Lex is really telling the truth. Isn't that amazing.

there were many rumors about the way it was going to go for the ending can of like the way it ended was the way I liked it. I enjoyed seeing many of the friends return for the final two episodes. Cat is still snarky and adorable. I was especially happy for the way things turned out for Brainy and Dreamer. Also, I think Lena will eventually find happiness. Not going to lie, I FF through most of the wedding bliss, except for the cute flower girl.
