Not much rain if any here, but just north of me video looked like it had snowed after a hailstorm. I think it did make it to the 80s.
It did get up to 71 yesterday. Not a lot of sun. My church is still changing its service time to 9. That makes me less likely to make it there, but if i hear all the cars passing, I should at least be able to get up and get dressed.
It gets hot again later in the week and there is some hope for rain.

Actually, it didn't get hot later in the week and boy, did we get rain.
It got back into the 80s most days. Yesterday the sun never came out and there were scattered showers, though I got caught outside briefly in a heavy one. And had to drive through another heavy one. There were flash flood watches in nearby counties. Meanwhile, west of Charlotte, not much at all.

It has been in the 90s for several days with a high of 93 today. I do not like 90 degree days.

A man on the radio said something like, "Hey, don't yell at me. I just read it."
It has been close to 90 here too. It was miserable and the air conditioning still wasn't coming on. I turned it down to keep it from being on constantly. However, late in the day it was coming on a lot. Same for most of yesterday. Even though there was rain late in the day.
Ironically, on the first day of earlier church services, it was cloudy.
It has at least looked like rain today, but I don't recall any actual rain. About the same.

Not much rain here this week but every day we were told how much it would rain.
And I don't think it has gotten up to 90 but it has been miserable. Although Charlotte had rain and was in the 70s and the weather map I was looking at said it was 94 where I live, where it hadn't rained.
Yesterday there was lots of thunder and it rained briefly, and then nothing, and then more rain later. I think it was last night where it looked quite serious just north of me.
And I'm glad they changed when they go to the mountains. I would have been there this week and it has rained some. Next week looks better. At least here.

We were told the rain would be in the afternoon on Saturday. It was already raining at 11 in the morning. Eventually it stopped. well, it mostly stopped.
I don't think it got up to 90 all weekend and yesterday was nice once the sun finally came out. So far it looks like good weather all week, at least here. I'll be in the mountains.
I just saw a forecast for the mountains when I'm there. It will actually be cool.

I don't know whether it was actually cool. It didn't feel any different.
At home on Tuesday, it was normal. Normal high, normal low,
Some clouds on the way up and I might have seen a couple of raindrops but otherwise no rain until I got back home.
I tried to get home early because I could do what I usually do on Saturday after getting off the computer except for newspapers. I didn't get on the computer but I did everything else. I also had a movie I wanted to see, which will be on next week too, but I didn't get home in time and I had not seen it in the TiVo listings and set it to record when I saw it in the newspaper TV section. And I still got rained on as I unloaded the car. But it didn't rain for long.
I missed the church service because it was raining off and on, but I saw it online today. Not the sermon recorded in advance, but the service. It didn't rain all day but when it did it sure was heavy. And yet where I live there wasn't much rain at all. Just to the south, a very different story.

Finally, I got in touch with someone who could make sure the low and high were on the web site where I had been seeing it until recently. And each day other than Monday this week, it has been 81. I had to look at the newspaper to see it was in the 90s Monday.
Tuesday morning it was raining a lot of the time, then it got better, then the rain got really heavy when it did rain.
Wednesday it was cooler and less humid, a lot like last week.

The hot weather was back over the weekend. It even rained on Saturday. If we have rain over the next several days it will be the type that happens on hot days. So far, no 90s yet.

Thunder was so loud my heart thumped and I jumped up! Lightning lit up the room. The thunder and lightning is continuous. Hope it ends soon.

It didn't get up to 90 most days this week but it did feel like 90.
It has been cloudy a lot but no rain until last night. It was supposed to rain a lot today but there was off and on drizzle. I did see a large puddle so it must have rained.

Usually it's really hot on the Fourth, though I remember one year coming to visit my grandparents and it was in the 40s. Low 63, high 83 Saturday, low 58 yesterday. It's getting hot again and the forecast for Thursday morning looks wet.

Low 90s each day except yesterday when it rained some in the morning. Even though a TV news reporter was quite close to where I live when talking about flooding and other problems, I wasn't in an area that had anything but some rain. A large puddle indicates there was a lot of rain during the night.
I was surprised at all the thunder this afternoon. I thought our rain was over.

High 91, real feel 100, humidity now 56%, was 75% earlier. Has been like this for days even when a storm passes through.

It has been getting up to about 90 but I guess it has felt hotter than that. I know that has been true when I go outside early in the day. They're working on the road nearby too. It looked like it rained in my area but I never heard rain or thunder.

88, feels like 91, humidity 46%. 30 seconds away from air conditioning and I am drenched in perspiration.

Most days it has gotten up into the 90s and felt hotter. Wednesday it didn't quite make it, and that might have been the day when on the 6:00 news Rockingham was cooler than the mountains.
The meteorologist where I was going yesterday said it would be another day like Wednesday, but there were just lots of clouds. One looked like it would pour down rain but I got past it before that happened.
I heard thunder earlier this afternoon and there was a little rain. More this weekend.

94 on Saturday, at least officially. There was a thunderstorm where I live and it rained several more times.
The web site where I go for the low and high said 90 yesterday but I don't see how. The sun never came out. Also, I was amazed the church service was outside. The roof provides shelter for the front porch. The man in charge of sound finally got the device he was using to record out of the rain, and the people in lawn chairs finally moved.

No rain since a wet Monday but it looked like it was about to rain all day Tuesday and I did see a few drops. It has also been like that today. It was foggy this morning.
And once the sun came out, highs around 90.

Highs around 90 and it is supposed to get hotter. It has been cloudy a lot but no rain here, although I have been hearing thunder for a while.

It has been 90 or higher all week. I don't know when 90 became the normal high, but that's new. (4 yesterday. They talk about rain but only certain areas have gotten any, and some areas have gotten a lot. Nothing really here but I did hear thunder.

It got up to 90 or close to it during the weekend but it was cooler yesterday, if you can call it that. It was actually hotter because it wasn't hot enough for my air conditioning to come on.
I heard a forecast on my Ohio radio station for lows in the 50s and highs in the 70s. Actually, that kind of weather is coming this way. And while the rain we were promised today didn't really happen, at least so far, it is cooler. There was mostly drizzle this morning if it rained at all, after days of being told how bad today was going to be.

Tuesday the high was 80, which was warmer than expected but it didn't rain that much.
About the same on Wednesday. No more sun but it didn't rain.
Sun came out yesterday and it felt cooler but wasn't really. 87 was the high.
Rain comes back tomorrow but it clears out for Sunday. We're having Homecoming and that means eating. Some people will eat outside.

I was under the impression it would rain Saturday, but it was just drizzle once it got light and there wasn't even much of that.
Back to the (low) 90s and humid.

96 today, not even considering the heat index. And the forecast on the web site where I got that said scattered thunderstorms, which reminded me of the forecast Tuesday. On the radio someone said "isolated". They sure weren't isolated. We've also had damage in the area and flooding, though not in my precise location.

96 again on Saturday, even with all the rain. I guess it doesn't rain at the airport.
Even though the sun came out at times both Saturday and Sunday it at least felt cooler. I found it hard to believe it got up in the upper 80s both days.
We were warned it would rain a lot today. So what happened? Occasional drizzle, and the sun even came out.
Possible rain the rest of the week.

Tuesday night there was finally significant rain with thunder. To the west there were tornadoes. And farther west, much worse.
And once it was all over more mid-90s, and more thunderstorms late.
